Thirdly, the North voted OBJ in 99 and 2003. Even GEJ in 2011 got a chunk of Northern votes. All they need is to be assured of protection of their interests. Once done, good to go.

Obasanjo and GEJ is not a pastor, Osinbajo as a pastor will face conservative religious Muslim north. PDP northern candidate will have an easy win because religious sentiment will surely arise against Osinbajo in the north.

Its very obvious that APC would most likely field Tinubu as its presidential candidate in order to rotate power back to the south as they will find it difficult fielding another northerner after Buhari. PDP will capitalize on this and Wike would use such opportunity to field a Tambuwal/Wike ticket for 2023 which has been the initial plan all along for 2019 but which failed to materialize. By fielding a Tambuwal-Wike ticket, PDP would be sure of SE/SS votes and votes from the north (because i don't see a typical northerner vote a SW candidate let alone someone like Tinubu over a popular grassroot man like Tambuwal). With that and with the Buhari factor gone, PDP will most likely secure the presidency in 2023. The only way APC will most likely win in 2023 is if they field a popular northern candidate which is most unlikely, considering that a northerner from their party (Buhari) had just completed 8 terms. Truth is that power will continue to remain largely in the north except this country is either truly restructured or the immense power is removede from the presidency and placed more on states.

Ekweme CONTESTED the primary and LOST to Obasanjo. Or isn't that what happened again? Ekweme lost because the generals and the northern powerbrokers felt it was best to have a Yoruba man because of the Abiola matter. The northern and SW deletes at the Jos convenston voted for Obasanjo while SE support was shared between Ekweme and Jim Nwobodo. Olu Falae was chosen by his party the AD and he ran agaisnt Obasanjo in that capacity. Falae carried the SW but Obasanjo carried the PDP strongholds of north, SS and SE. Falae lost fairly and later congratulted Obadanjo. Stop trying to confuse people with your own version of history. The odds were stacked against Ekweme but stop lying that he stepped down for Obasanjo or anybody.

If Yorubas was giving a president on a plater of gold because of Abiola, why cant they support the same for Igbos so that both APC and PDP will field Igbo candidate as was done for them in 1999. It is very unfortunate that Yorubas is making it as if Obasanjo became president by their own making whereas it was giving to them for compensation by other Nigerians, they did not even vote for Obasanjo self, the one they use to jump up and down that they have produced a president before.

The aviation ministry had series of correspondence with the state govt on the need to remove the mast on the flight approach, relocate the abattoir and create room for the expansion and renovating of the runaway but the state govt has been too afraid to relocate the abattoir for fear of political reprisal.

If the state won’t do the right thing, FAAN should simply go ahead and close down the airport outright and not just a downgrade. You can’t endanger the traveling public because of abattoir that can easily be relocated.

I am not interested in all this jargon, it is obvious that you are not in tune with Nigeria history if not you will know that South West did not vote for Obasanjo rather Yorubas voted for Olu Falaye but Igbos and northerners did, Obasanjo have never been in good book with Yorubas because of Awolowo-Shagari election saga, Obasanjo have never been a good Yoruba son, however anyone that emerge as a president of Nigeria should build all the regions in Nigeria, a president of Nigeria is not meant to be sabotaging a region because of a voting pattern.
