How did Yorubas voted for Jonathan in 2011 huh
PoliticsRe: 2023: Why Yoruba Will Produce President After Buhari – Clarke by Odingo1: 4:20pm On May 25, 2019
9gerian:
But the bolded is what has been happening since independence. However, the Yorubas have never castigated / maligned the Igbos for their choice.

Fast forward to 2015, and the Igbos have used every opportunity to insult and malign the Yorubas without end. They even ensured that Peter Obi’s candidature was quickly painted as a tribal rivalry against the Yoruba Vice President, a very unwise move it turned out.

The Yorubas were the ones who fought tenaciously for Jonathan to be installed as acting president, with Obasanjo rallying support for him in the North, hence the votes he got there. The Yorubas also gave Jonathan their votes without much solicitation during 2011 presidential elections.

The question is why do Igbos think they can partner with the North politically without end, but would not allow anyone to rest maligning and calling Yorubas names because they eventually partnered with the North (for the very first time in history)? It defies logic huh

It is hoped that this string of events allows everyone to reflect on past mistakes (including those of our leaders past) and begin to strive for equity, and not just when it affects you. This is what a nation needs to harness its diverse potentials. These potentials are everywhere all over the length and breadth of Nigeria.

Btw, I think the Igbos may stand a good chance at producing the next president, but that is if they retrace their steps and start building bridges instead of attacking everybody (including their people that reason differently). Interestingly, Obasanjo was the first to suggest that Igbos prepared to be President by 2019 at the height of Buhari’s absence in 2017 or so; Obasanjo was abused and even cursed by the same people (Igbos) that he was envisaging to help broker an equitable deal. Sighs smiley
Stop lying, Yoruba didn’t vote for Jonathan or Obasanjo. Clark is talking about vote margin.Stop deceiving yourself, tell us how many number of casted vote that Obasanjo and Jonathan got in the SW, PDP may won slightly in each Yoruba state but with what number to the other party. PDP can get 250,000 vote in Ondo while APC got 240,000 vote in the same Ondo, although PDP won, will you say that Yorubas in Ondo gave PDP their vote or they shared their vote.

By what margin did Jonathan won in South West, stop twisting history.

Had it been that Atiku won Buhari, you Yorubas will be shouting how you voted for Atiku. Yoruba always associate with a winning side with a divided vote. What is margin of Jonathan win in the SW against Tinubu Ribadu Yoruba support.

Foreign AffairsRe: Theresa May Announces Her Resignation As British Prime Minister by Odingo1: 4:48pm On May 24, 2019
Martinez39:
Lol. Theresa May is a traitor of democracy and a traitor to her nation. The Britian does not need the EU infact, the EU is collapsing and needs Britain. The EU knows this and are afraid hence they are using fear mongering and name callings. When Hungary banned immigration of Muslims, did the EU not threaten thunder and fire? What have done to Hungary? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!

Britain is better of without the EU. Without the EU and with a hard brexit on WTO standards, the UK can enjoy the following privileges :
1) regain their sovereignty and can make their own laws.
2) they can control their borders and effectively obviate the destruction of their working class by the uncontrolled massive influx of immigrants.
3) they can strike trade deals with other countries on their own terms.
4) they can boldly protect their culture, values and identity. These are under threat given the clash between Islamic values and western values. The vices and unwillingness of illegal immigrants to integrate can be tackled without the fear of being called "racist," "xenophobic," "islamophobic," and fear of losing your job or being expelled from school because you happen to be "right wing."

@bold
The remain economic experts said all sort of things would happen if the British people voted Brexit. Did those things happen? No! Why should you believe them?
Remember that if people urinate together it will generate strong foam and majority is power. A tree cannot make a forest. UK need EU more than EU need them, that is why they are dragging foot since 3 years to leave EU.
Foreign AffairsRe: Theresa May Announces Her Resignation As British Prime Minister by Odingo1: 4:42pm On May 24, 2019
British MPs are cowards, they are afraid to exit EU that British People wanted. They voted to serve the people not their own wishes. Why did they allow the referendum in the first place if they cannot support the outcome of it.

What the MPs are doing is treasonable offense, they should obey the outcome of the referendum, exit the EU and bear the consequences. It is their people choice to leave EU.

....where is the proof or fact or all these are deemed as allegation and speculation....from oil money are you saying no one can get rich from legitimately investing in the oil industry...if Adenuga started from the oil industry then what wrong has he done?....did he steal?
The reason why it is stealing is because they shared the oil wells among themselves, the oil well is supposed to be owned by the country. It is the reason why they cut people head anyhow in Saudi Arabia because the royal families took all the oil wells and became so rich, the same in UAE.

But nothing is wrong with Ned using Niger Delta oil money on Regina's lavish lifestyle.

Please where were the Niger Deltans when outsiders were enriching themselves with their oil money? Were they hallucinating or what?
The military government did all that, the northerners seize the oil wells in the Niger Delta and dash some to Yorubas because they help them to win the civil war. Did you think that Niger Delta militant is just noise making, their oil wells was shared freely by the military at gun point.

What about Authur Eze that deal in Oil why is he not on the list?
His own is not free Niger Delta oil well, there is a difference in owning an oil well for dash and doing oil and gas business like Otedola, Author Eze, Emeka Ofor and co etc.

So Authur Eze is not dealing on Oil?

Oil in Ondo state alone is more than Entire oil in South East

Alakija Oil Field is located in Lagos and Not Niger Delta

Agbami Oil field that was allocated to Alakija is located in Lagos
Free Niger Delta oil money make them rich and not their sweat or intelligence, they are just opportunist. In a sane country they should be in jail.

You can lie ehn, Niger Delta oil well was giving to them free of charge by the military government. Everyone know of Folorunsho Alakija own, is she not a tailor in the baracks that is servicing top military officers before they dash her oil well. Anyone can be a dollar billionaire with free oil well.

You think forbes rate billionaires based on liquidity like you ipob mor0ns that will hear that innoson buys 2billion dollar jet and that means owner of inoson is worth 2billion dollars.

Forbes ranks billionaire based on their share in their investment.

Incase you are too stupid to know what that means, it means, when they sell all adenuga's investments, he is entitled to just 9billion dollars in cold cash. That is his share of the company.

By the ipoop brain, where did adenuga make all his money? And how many investment does he have in nigerian oil?

SW is developing at a very fast rate, by the time Buhari is done with SW the gap between SW and other region, in term of development, infrastructure, standard of living etc, will be like America and Somalia.

This is what you get when u play the right politics, not by emotions and sentiments, and what more,SW is strategically positioning herself for 2023 presidency.

God bless Lagos, Ogun,Oyo,Ondo,Osun and Ekiti States.
God bless South west.
God bless Nigeria.
The reason why Nigeria is backward, they call God name but wish evil to their fellow countrymen. You want the rest of Nigeria to be like Somalia and you think that you will have peace in your SW.
