How God forsaken Abians managed to re-elect the fat pig like Ikpeazu is the sadest story of 2019!! We are talking about a governor caught on camera stealing live, Ikpeazu have a case but maybe supported by some people. It is found in every state. |

Bolustical: There is this thing about the Igbos, having beams of wood in their eyes but worrying about the pecks in those of others.
Ebuka is worried about Kano people who fought hard to resist Ganduje's second term, Ganduje even had to rely on rerun to win.
But what happened in Abia state with a governor owing months of backlogs of salaries of teachers, doctors, local government staff, pensioners and workers? He won with a landslide after sharing liters of kerosene.
Ikpeazu didn't even rate them, he gave them kerosene, not even gas cylinders.
Ganduje isn't owing salaries, president came to Kano to commission his projects but can the same be said about SE/SS governors? You and tribalism, Nawa oo. Ganduja was caught putting dollars in his baba riga. That is enough evidence. Governors from North to west to east all owe salaries in one way or the other but that is not good of them. From the record there is no state in Nigeria that is not owing pensioners and workers emoluments. |

Larryslim: Yes anyone can pick any bag and leave. But there are CCTV cameras, so if a person reports a case of missing baggage, and the airline can confirm that they delivered all baggages of the passengers, they might have to check the Airport CCTV, if the camera shows you picked another baggage, you might have your self to blame for that. Like i said, I've been to three different countries and not even one did the final check you talking about. After you cliam your baggage, You leave the airport! I agree with you sha, but bag do resemble each other, how will cctv capture the person that took another person bag. Most times bag are not checked when it is a transit flight. |

Moukandjo: No mind the guy jare. Him wan form say him get sense! After picking up your bags when they're rolling, no be all countries dey do any "final" check after than one. You claim your baggage & leave airport straight! How do you claim your bag and leave straight!, with Tag or without tag |
Politics › Re: Saudi Arabia Releases Ibrahim Abubakar, Another Nigerian Held For Drugs by Odingo1: 8:59am On May 04, 2019 |
Larryslim: Unfortunately, when I claimed by baggage, there wasn't any final check at all, physical or not. I left the airport and got into the city, and this happened in all three different countries i've been too. That being said, the report says " A cartel that operates in the airport", why do you think adding a nametag to a different bag will be hard for them to do? I haven't also heard of it prior to this, but I'm not suprised and i beleive it can happen! You are saying that someone can pick another person bag and just enter inside city just like that, that is not true, you mean anyone can pick any bag and leave |
Politics › Re: Saudi Arabia Releases Ibrahim Abubakar, Another Nigerian Held For Drugs by Odingo1: 11:57pm On May 03, 2019 |
Larryslim: First you didn't read the story. And secondly, my luggages were checked before i picked them up. It's possible that it was the same scenario here. That being said, the innocent girl has been released, thats all that matters and not long talk. If your luggages are checked before you pick them up that is the first computer check before the bags will start rolling out then after picking it there must be final check to confirm the tag and may involve physical opening of the bag before you exit into the city, you must have a tag for how many bag you put in the plane, which is verifiable. The story does not add up atoll. Some one can only plant drug into someone bag, but additional bag with someone name doesn't add up. How will they even tag the bag, is it as addition to the one you check in or as what |
Politics › Re: Saudi Arabia Releases Ibrahim Abubakar, Another Nigerian Held For Drugs by Odingo1: 11:31pm On May 03, 2019 |
Larryslim: Who's talking about the possibility or not? Isn't that the story they publicised? Someone asked, and i simply explained like we were all told.
And btw, I've travelled to three counties, and I'm currently in Europe.
When you came into europe at which point where your bag searched, is it not after pick up and while heading into exit into the country that the bag is checked. How come did they noticed unclaimed bag and was able to get the person immediately, normally unclaimed bags are destroyed after many days if the owner did not come for it. |
Politics › Re: Saudi Arabia Releases Ibrahim Abubakar, Another Nigerian Held For Drugs by Odingo1: 11:20pm On May 03, 2019*. Modified: 11:36pm On May 03, 2019 |
Larryslim: Try to read! They didnt plant the drugs in their bag, there was another bag, with drugs and their names were tagged to it. So if luckily the airport officials don't detect the drugs in the bag, their accomplice will pick up the bag. These people didn't know that there was another bag with their name tag. The zainab girl was said to have travelled with one luggage, but on arrival she had to luggages with her name tag. Tell this bullshit lie to those who have not traveled before, this is not possible. 1. Bags are searched after you have pick them up after arriving your destination. 2. At the check in point tags are giving for each bag you check in 3. Who will pick up the bag that has the person name on it, is the person inside the plane, how will the person pass the bag at the final checking point with another person name. |

teddyalba: Yes there is a significant population of non-indigenes in the area but they are mostly people of Urhobo, Ijaw, Kwale, Itsekiri, Isoko, Ibibio, Efiks and other groups of the niger delta area and Edo state than of her own linguistic group, the Ibo. Some Yoruba speaking people voted for her as well cos everyone was tired of the non performance of Adenekan Taiwo, an indigene and her slogan then was Boluwatife which she claimed as her middle name.
But with an heavyweight like HKT and the chest-beating by mainly ibos who claimed her victory in 2015 as theirs and calling the yorubas names both online and offline changed the mindsets of many indigenes[like myself] and the yorubas who earlier rooted for her in 2015.
One thing many people failed to understand about the yorubas is that they can be so patient and very formidable to exact their revenge or defend themselves especially when having a vanguard ahead of them. Like it took them their fourth attempt to crush the rampaging Fulani jihad army in the 19th century. Settlements then followed but hostilities ended with the installation of an emir whose mother was yoruba and not British intervention as some claimed. Even the emir was sent packing in 1936 and he fled to Kaduna. The recent crumbling of the Saraki dynasty is another recent example.
A tribe of the Ibo online chest beaters most of whom I doubt live in Lagos nor were born here contributed to Rita's defeat. Many tribes voted for her back then but you all suddenly made it an Ibo thing. The ibos I grew up behaved differently I wonder where this group of people sprang from.
Enough of the spread of hate before the inferno will consume other well meaning ibos in this part. Lest you guys forget your Joe Igbokwe's appointment at the federal level is a slot of Lagos State. Is it that we dont have eligible indigene or other Yorubas to fill it?
Think about this before you guys start another rounds of hate.
Enough is enough. Just keep quiet, why did the won in the first round and to loose with insignificant number in the rerun. It is like how Ganduje won Kano rerun in a clear rigging. Pack one side abeg, if not for INEC backed rigging the woman won clearly. |

Deadlytruth: If Ironsi never cancelled resource control and the four regions he met, then could you kindly explain what exactly he meant with the bolded lines of his May 24 1966 national broadcast as follows:
Fellow Nigerians: During the past two weeks I presided over meetings of the Supreme Military council and the Central Executive Council at which many important state matters were considered. . . It is now three months since the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was handed over to the Armed Forces. Now that peace has been restored in the troubled areas it is time that the Military Government indicates clearly what it proposes to accomplish before relinquishing power. The removal of one of the obstacles on the way is provided for in the Constitution (Suspension and Modification) Decree (No. 5) 1966 which was promulgated by me today and comes into effect at once. The provisions of the Decree are intended to remove the last vestiges of the intense regionalism of the recent past, and to produce that cohesion in the governmental structure which is so necessary in achieving, and maintaining the paramount objective of the National Military government, and indeed of every true Nigerian, namely, national unity. The highlights of this Decree are as follows: The former regions are abolished, and Nigeria grouped into a number of territorial areas called provinces. . . . Nigeria ceases to be what has been described as a federation. It now becomes simply the Republic of Nigeria.......... The former Federal Military government and the Central Executive Council become respectively the National Military Government and the executive Council. All the Military Governors are members of the Executive Council. A Military Governor is assigned to a group of provinces over which and subject to the direction and control of the Head of the National Military Government, he shall exercise executive power. In order to avoid any major dislocation of the present administrative machinery, the grouping of the provinces has been made to coincide with the former regional boundaries. This is entirely a transitional measure and must be understood as such. The present grouping of the provinces is without prejudice to the Constitutional and Administrative arrangements to be embodied in the New Constitution in accordance with the wishes of the people of Nigeria. The National Military Government assumes the exercise of all legislative powers throughout the Republic subject to such delegations to Military Governors as are considered necessary for purposes of efficient administration. The public services of the former federation and regions become unified into one national public service under a National Public Service Commission. There is a provincial Service Commission for each group of provinces to which is delegated functions in respect of public officers below a given rank. This rather drastic change will probably involve a reconstitution of the existing commissions, and the National Military Government reserves the right to do so in the manner stipulated in the Decree. Until this is done, the present Commissioners continue to act in their posts. Every civil servant is now called upon to see his function in any part of Nigeria in which he is serving in the context of the whole country. The orientation should now be towards national unity and progress. I expect all civil servants to co-operate and to consult at all levels, vertically and horizontally, between groups of Provinces and between Provinces and the Centre. Read more at:

AdekunleScience: You are a liberal Omoluabi just like myself. However, I have decided to relate with Igbos as a collective strictly on pragmatic basis with Yoruba interest as my first consideration. Yes, in an ideal situation no Nigerian should be denied of their constitutional right, on account of their tribe or ethnicity/religion. Now, these are facts: the Yorubas have been the most tolerant group in this nation since its creation. All over Yorubaland you will find non-Yorubas in either government or civil service. This good gesture has never been returned by any other region. Ironically, the Igbos who are arguably the most intolerant group (even among themselves) in this country are the most aggressive in wanting important political positions in other regions. To make matters worse, when they win such positions it won't take long before they start gloating about how they are now dominating their host. Bro, you would agree with me that no great people remain great for long if they treat their antagonists with levity. As for me I will always treat people as individuals irrespective of their background. However, we must realize that as a collective, Igbos have decided to be Yorubas number one antagonist, and it's only rational that we don't allow them do in our space what they won't allow us do in their own space. Funny thing is that you Yorubas see Igbos as your enemies yet in real life Hausa-Fulanis are killing you in your own land in Ife and Lagos, they took your land and install Emirs. I remember after their killings in Mile 12 lagos, your governor was making mouth that they are going to move mile 12 market dominated by northerners and later chicken out after series of threatening from the northerners. Their Sarki Hausawa throne is in Lagos. When the time come the people that had been taken your land from Ilorin to Osogbo is the one that kill and grab lagos. All this una fear about Igbos in Lagos will amount to anything, enjoy your one Nigeria. |
