Awon oniyeye. Walk and pray. The daily walk from Maryland to Oshodi no do. The prayer for Nigeria wey una Don dey pray since 1970 no do. I have no doubt in my mind that based on the trajectory set for this country since 2010, Many of these walk and pray people will be praying and walking to refugee camps and UN food centres in the not too distant future. |

Just look at the state of them. What good has ever come from these men? Ikimi has been around the corridors of power since I can remember. Can someone name one good to ever come out of the men. Honestly speaking, if these thieves are using the numerous illiterates and half liberates to get into power, then it is probably necessary to have an electoral college of civic minded, afrocentric and progressive literates between them and positions of power |
All we've heard for 60 years is talk talk and more useless talk. When are they going to start do do do |
You have $770 billion foreign reserves. The only problem is that it was banked overseas by corrupt, unpatriotic useless political animals /business thieves |
What a plank |
Businessideas:It has become so that that If you bring a PhD or master degree to me,with you being in the research or educational sector, you are indirectly telling me that you have too much Idle time. |
Nothing new here. That man was a condensed dunce. |
arushiuga:The infrastructure Is under serious strain from the population and migration . Simples |
Celebrating mediocrity. Same power generation as Tokyo airport. |
richidinho:You can go back to 2014,2015 and 2016 when I blasted all SW governors on this very issue. |

Good for the Tinubu. I actually love what is happening to him. He was wasting his time carrying one -Nigeria baggage . He is needed elsewhere. His mission is something else |
Almost 20 years of demoncrazy. As usual, foreign plumbers, carpenters and former shopkeepers from Syria,Lebanon, come to Nigeria to do the technical work. In almost 20 years, the fools have not been able to develop just 200 of a core set of well educated and very technical elite of engineering entrepreneurs. You begin to wonder what happened to our universities, polytechnics and technical schools . Yet we have people putting "engineer" in front of their names. From lagos to maiduguri, colo-mental failures aka politicians and religious fundamentalist all over. |
1 The Abiku Refineries, Airports must be sold to companies with track records of building and running one 2 Federal government colleges should be handed over to the states. 3 federal universities must be made autonomous. 4 Water basins handed back to the states or regions concerned. Nigerian business thieves must not be allowed to participate. |
Good. I hate the idea of FG in any SW initiative. |
That woman was at the heart of the looting in that administration. |
PRYCE:When you have nothing to sell and cannot afford to pay for the conspicuous consumption. All this means nothing to me apart from making the country have a rethink on how Nigerians engage the world. Perhaps one place to start is to start trading locally made goods in the west African market |
the LASG has no choice but to build a slum surveillance unit to stop the encroachment of land and the continuous destruction of the fiona and fauna. |
Just the ranting of a demented fella |
plaetton:What did they do with the money when there was NO TSA. Give loans to Politicians to contest elections Abegi |
In some states, they will be asking for deve levy. |
Nothing to steal anymore Bruce. All those who used to keep government money in fixed deposits and pocketing the interest while staff salaries are left unpaid . Reminds me of that famous paragraph in Adam Smith's writings on the inherent subsidy of private business. They are not making fishing rods to catch fish but they “are in the business of reeling in subsidies.” Reminds me of Adam Smith’s line about the tonnage bounty paid to the white herring fishery and how ‘it has, I am afraid, been too common for vessels to fit out for the sole purpose of catching, not the fish, but the bounty’ (WN IV.v.a32: p 520) Government money goes to the government account. The banks should do what banks elsewhere do. 1 Develop products that they can sell to their customers. 2 Invest in start ups and take a stake in the business. 3 invest in critical infrastructure and collect tolls. e.g build housing or take stakes in building firms. Monthly mortgage payment are like tolls. Likewise A Student loans B Road tolls C Toll bridges D Water. If an when government need them for a programme(e.g to distribute bursaries, farmer's loans) , they will be called upon |
shyling:Then you have not been to the breadbasket |
I understand what he is talking about but he definitely did not put it the right way. There is hunger in the land for sure when in fact, there shouldn't be. Food is wasting in the rural areas and it has been like this ever since I was born. Anybody who doubts it should go to taraba or benue and attempt to eat a N1000 meal of pounded yam and goat meat. I can assure you, you will be returned in a casket. THE PROBLEM Our so called " in America" and "in Japan" economist, technocrats and textbook experts have always blamed this scenario on bad roads.that is, the inability to evacuate excess food to the market. Odua states says the reason is as a result of a lack of imagination, organisation, planning and lack of creativity. I am not going to go into details on each point because I have touched some of these issues before. A lot can be done with railways, even as archaic as the rail system is. 1 Devote the railway as it is to mostly goods 2 terminate the goods rail journeys outside city limits. 3 Handover journeys within city limits to state's for mass transit. Numerous daily Journeys Abeokuta - oshodi will remove many cars from the road thereby, reducing the pressures on the foreign exchange. The train journey starts in Abeokuta and end finishes in the journey in lagos.Instead of waiting... To be continued |
