gohome:We do not want hot money. They come in with hot money. God into the market and inflate a bubble thereby creating an illusion of newly found wealth. the illusion of wealth leads our people into another round of squandermania. Jobs of N24,000,000 in finance sitting behind pretending to be doing something. At the peak of the bubble, our so called investors quietly leaving a train wreck behind. Give me an answer to this question. Why is it that we never get the investors who want to invest in 1 iron Steel 2 Aluminium smelting 3 Water Work 4 Chemicals 5 Mining 6 Other heavy industry and Things we can exports Why do will always get those who promise to double your money. |
Dick Morris of Fox news. The Aribisala of American politics. He is nothing but a gun for hire. A scammer and a fraud Pay him and he will sing. I dey laugh whenever these clowns bring up another clown as an authority. Quoting Dick Morris is like quoting Fani kayode. He obviously scammed Jonathan during the electiin http://prospect.org/article/dick-morris-con-artist http://www.politicalarticles.net/blog/2011/05/another-of-dick-morriss-2012-predictions-goes-down-the-toilet-ronald-reagan-for-kids/ |
Either the government exerts /upholds the sovereignty and supremacy of the state or they should simply give up. |
Boss13:Awo On The Law Of Sowing and Reaping "Like cause always produce like effect. In kind, we always reap what we sow; but quantitatively, we always reap much more than we sow." - Lecture at the University of Lagos (1968): In Voice of Courage (1981) Who are those investors? I keep hearing about these investors but the more I hear of these investors , the poorer Nigerians become. Poverty rates and unemployment have been increasing since 1960 regardless of how they chose to redefine employment and poverty. A graduate of electrical engineering riding Okada is not employed according to the economics textbooks that I read whole growing up. A trained accountant selling provisions in a 4 x 4 shop in order to survive is not employed. Maybe the fascist neo liberals have redefined employment. |
mej67:I am sure there are people who do socially useful work. Most especially the farmers, IT I am not slicing and dicing what people are doing on an individual basis. I am looking at the whole Nigerian landscape. Are you telling me that Nigeria is not useless. 1 Nigeria cannot even build her roads. You need foreigners to do it for you in 2016. Meanwhile, the streets of Ife were paved 300 years ago. 2 You cannot market your own agriculture produce. Foreigners go to your rural areas to find and buy them. I can back up my assertion with 1000 reasons. I have only listed 2. The fate of the people you claimed are doing stuffs is tied to the oil economy as well. They are not really doing out of the box stuffs. For you to understand what I am talking about, go to Britain, enter a supermarket and check the packaging on almost every item. You will see. Great British beef Great British tea Great British ham British this and that. A lot of the stuffs were not grown in Britain but some were processed by British companies. But the amin thing is that British people are so patriotic that they back those things that are theirs. I also know that beyond the age of 35, most stop being materialistic. people do not want to admit it but you are all suffering from colonial mentality. You are all bred to be consumers and traders and not makers. You are taught to be followers and not leaders. Your sense of attainment or worth is determined by the material things you have acquired. |
They gave dollar debit cards to Nigerians. People who are some of the most materialistic and yet most unproductive set of citizens on the planet. H Take this cards, go and enjoy yourselves. Travelling to dubai became a right of passage. Algeria, meanwhile is sitting on a reserve of 150 billion US dollars. By the way, the same Algeria is not a demoncrazy. Nigeria is grappling with 2 issues right Now. 1 Balance of payment crisis ( in layman's terms, No dollars). You make nothing and grow nothing. In short, you are useless. 2 Fiscal deficits /budget crisis Bloated civil service, citizens who do not pay taxes, stares governed by politicians without imagination etc Only lagos state can withstand this crisis because she was governed by 3 excellent administrator in a row with Tinubu doing the groundwork. |
Can we borrow Stalin or Mao Tse Sung from the grave? Perhaps Fidel castro can still do a job. Buhari has gone soft. This is not what I voted for. The Buhari I voted for was the 1983 Buhari. Why are these clowns not yet on exile? |
Age makes no difference. Your degree or level of education makes no difference. In fact, your observation in reverse is one of the big problems. Zuckerberg moved aside for an administrator Sheryl Sanberg to help him organise and male Facebook profitable. He built Facebook but he did not know how to run the damn thing. What matters. Do you have the administrative skills to run a corporate organisation? If political, do you have the skills to learn quickly on the job and adjust accordingly? There are school cert holder running global corporations in the United States and Europe.People who rose from messengers to MD. Now to your point of elder statesmen. If you are talking about people like Jerry Gana, Anenih and Co. Men who have been around since forever but have no positive legacy,I agree, you are right. |
Best Ko. Best ni Dear Mr President, Can you please bring back the clueless ineffectual buffoon's policies and simply siddon look. There are many paid clowns running around all over social media. Mr Buhari please open the floodgates so that they can run down the foreign reserves in less than 6 months. Nothing I would love more right now than see these unproductive clowns suffer and stricken with kwarchiokor. Maybe by the time they start eating grains grown for animals and donated by foreign aid agencies, maybe then they will come back to their senses. These clowns love Prada,Ralph Lauren, Jimmy Choos,Channel etc. They love taking their girlfriends to the dubai every weekend. They love their debit cards with $100,000 limits. They love their Monthly shopping on bond Street, ,fifth avenue, Rodeo drive, Avenue montaigne. Yet these are some of the most unproductive and destructive people on the surface of the earth. The Nigerians in the diaspora see this culture everyday. A culture of senseless consumption, corruption , intellectual laziness, materialistism, compensatory inferiority and deluded spirituality. |
You missed your chance. The time to demonstrate was when your money was being stolen. Hunger is bad. I know. This is why the message from the gods of yorubaland is very important. Learn from past experience to build up your Iwa. You guys learnt nothing from the 1970s oil boom. You are surprised you are getting the same result. I have been to many countries and have lived in a few. I worked in a few companies as well.it is either those companies are exporting their goods and services or they are planning to do so. What exactly do you export? Oil. That is all there is, Oil. In fact, Nigerians do absolutely nothing. The banking sector is dependent on oil and not the products they sell to their customers. The airline same. I have said it many times here. If olodumare were to give me a choice of country to rule. Yorubaland of 1700 vs yorubaland of today. I will chose yorubaland of 1700. Too many cups are half full or should I say half empty. |
Abati should shut the hell up. Omoluabis are making things happen in their own way.we do not need the Nigerian baggage around. If you come sniffing around, the boys will simply take their laptops and move to Cotonou. You can build your IT hub in Abuja. You can legislate legislate IT but what you cannot legislate is the knowhow. The boys with the start up culture do not need Abati or the Nigerian federal baggage. They are making it rain in Lagos, Ibadan and Akure. Hopefully, we can rid Ondo /Ekiti of those analogue governors and get thing going there as well |
Because Nigerians are heartless and increase prices arbitrarily. 1% increase in fuel prices and they increase their prices by 1000%. They increase prices arbitrarily such that their customers cannot afford their products. They have no choice but to come down. This is why many informal sectors of the economy gave to go formal. Sector like transportation, agriculture, commerce etc. |
updatechange:It has nothing to do with license. Ambode gas gone to war with all the lawlessness that previous governments avoided. Zero tolerance. All those permanent shacks and illegal structures by the roadsides are going. For lekki,Victoria island and Lagos island, any deviation from the original master plan is going to get a kiss from a bulldozer. Almost certain if you are not paying taxes. Some of you might think it is harsh but that is exactly how the government in the developed world operate. They protect their patch. By patch, I mean those who pay the bills and swing the hammer on those who don't. If you doubt it, go to America or UK and try to get a license to provide financial services. Ordinary money transfer . |
Ambode fire on jare. Nigerian have to be civilised by fire by force. No quarter for sme sme jo. Dem go go dubai go dey admire buildings but complain when something is being done to get their country up to same standard of governance. ME ME ME ME ME. Not US US US US. They won't tell you that in the same Dubai, you will rot in jail if you owe money. Listen to their typical prayers in church "God enter the heart of the interviewer and make him give me the job" Bunch of deluded and selfish people Even when they are the least qualified, They pray that the most qualified person be disqualified to open the way for them. |
Boss13:And you seeing the plan will make the recession disappear? Ogbeni, get used to being poor and wicked because that is the Nigerian reality. Buhari told you to your face. Nigeria is a poor country. I warned on this forum that people should follow Buhari's lead that instead of devaluing the Naira, Nigerians should tighten their belt and do away with luxuries for a while. That the benefit of holding the value of the Naira far outweighs the benefits of a devaluation.Even;Even if a few people were making a killing from round tripping. I and Buhari warned that devaluation and allowing the currency to float would inflict a devastating social cost that is more than any benefit that would accrue from such policy. Tell me which is better? A rich man having to jump a few hoops to find 50000 dollars for his Child's tuition in America or medicines, food and fuel for the masses. True beneficial investors always remain regardless of the situation. But he was pressured by all the dumb textbook economists and on this forum,we had noisemakers from paid PDP trolls Wickedness If Fuel prices were to increase by 5% today, transporters automatically increase their fares by 300% and food stuffs go 600%. If this is not how Nigerians destroy their own country and themselves, tell me another narrative. |
You asked for it. Next time when you hear " I had no shoes", know that it is coming from a man whose head has been damaged by poverty . "BOTTOMS OUT" That is a phrase Nigerians should put in their lexicon Until the distortion from the fake expansion cause by high oil prices dissipates and Nigerian come back to the reality of their situation , The economy will finds her natural level the recession will bottom out and the economy will start to grow once again. My take is that the recession is only half way to the bottom and the naira is still over valued. I see the true value of the Naira as between N600 - N1500. $400,000 for a crappy house in lagos? You are having a laugh. |
In terms of educational infrastructure, this is what I want to see. Your picture does not do this school justice. like amaechi did with rivers state schools |
The rail line is being built in sections with the parts considered as more important being built first. My guess is that the PH /Calabar line has to do with portharcourt being the energy capital and Calabar's EPZ. the government probably has plans for the two cities in the near term For the lagos Ibadan railine is long overdue. In fact this line should have been built like 40 years ago. |
Joel3:Nigeria can print naira you cannot print dollars. All the naira Jonathan printed during for elections are still in circulation. That is before all the naira printed during the oil boom . You cannot just dump more naira into an already naira infested economy. All it will lead to is more inflation. What Nigerian needs even more than diversification, is a domesticated economy. An economy in which your 1 Milk comes from a Nigerian diary. 2 your chicken comes from a Nigerian poultry 3 Cement 4 Roofing sheet 5 tomatoes paste 6 petrol etc Yas long as the producers' priorities are not baking money in Swiss accounts and buying properties in London. The Nigerian economy has to find her true level first of of all. All those MINT talk na wash. You cannot expect to be OK if you are depending on the same 2 million barrels( now 1.5 Mil) of crude oil today like you had 30 years ago, even though your population has doubled. |
Abba Kyari dambazzau Dogora Saraki These are some of the people who will destroy Buhari government. Remember power is transient. Honeymoon today, Honeystones tomorrow. I am going to layout a few criticism of the Buhari's government. Does he want to be a transformational president or does he want to become the normal, Nigerian type, " business as usual president" that we have been saddled with for over 50 years. When I say business as usual, I do not mean the outright criminal, clannish, village, and zoological government of primitive looting given to us by Jonathan. I meant the "one step forward, half step backwards " that obasanjo gave us ( the closest we have had to a conventional government or governance since 1966). All these board appointments. How many of these people have ever seen the inside of a boardroom in their lives? Not to talk of running a corporate organisation. I am not even talking about the clowns who call themselves captains of industry. They are cut from the same cloth The woman in NPA.From bring back our girls to NPA!!!!! An organisation which is the equivalent of a Nigerian general Electric or Apple computers. What exactly is her track record in running a corporate organisation whose motive is profit. Obasanjo gave us Anenih, Jonathan also gave us the same man. A man who in spite of having being around the corridors of power for over 40 years, has no legacy and no redeeming quality or value . These are the king of people who have been running the lives of multiple generations of Nigerians. You would have thought that this government will take the opportunity to change the mentality of governance in respect to board appointments. Same thing with NIMASA,NNPC and every other agency. New government, same culture of putting people who, in any other country in the world, are unemployable. Personally , I would have gone outside the country to employ foreign non Nigerian managers in virtually every critical sector of government. The United Arab Emirates is not run by emiratis. Sure the emir put emiratis in some office where they cannot cause damage but the entire country and the things that matter are run by expatriates. I am sorry, it is all about skills. If a Nigerian has the administrative or corporate skills necessary and has a track record to demonstrate those skills, no problem. In reality, most of our so called " captains of industry" are just going about the motions. They are as clueless as the politicians. If the COIs are clueless, what does it tell you about the nobodies who are consistently appointed into boards of organisations. From USA to Europe, there are thousands of people whose make a living running things and who would have jumped on the opportunity and the challenge. Their job is all about making things work. Places like the absolutely rotten Murtala airport needs only 2 people. Just 2 persons . A facility manager who runs airports infrastructure for a living (and not a board of clowns and jokers) and a director who gets every Other thing working. You can go through the entire list of parastatals. From the military to the universities. The same thing is repeated all through. For the universities and polytechnic, you can see the bad or lack of corporate governance in the dirty / or lack of toilets, overgrown lawns, classrooms and lecture halls with broken desk and ceiling etc. In the police or military , dirty barracks, dirty corrupt and drunk officers. If the commanders cannot get their acts right , why in the world are they being given the administrative tasks of running a corporate organisation. Expecially regarding the issue of handling money. Within the Nigerian ministries, staffs openly hawking goods unchallenged during working hours. All these point to one fact and one factory alone. Ever since I was born, those who have been saddled with running the most important parastatals in Nigerian are the types you would not trust to run mobile phone recharge card stand. |
Goodluck to Adeosun and Buhari with that diversification thingie. Not with the useless banks, corrupt and useless politicians, rotten infrastructure, cartels and so called captains of industry dotting the landscape of the country. Buhari has not been radical enough for me. I was expecting that many of the criminals would have gone on nitro exile by now. |
Surprised that no mopo in sight. Just to show you that the evil the politicians, businessmen, pastor and Imams do follow them about. They are afraid of their own shadow |
Surprised that no mopo in sight |
If you are waiting for stomach infrastructure...... You will keep waiting forever. Go and grab your cutlasses and hoes. |
sarrki:Fashola is working with a template, plan and a budget. 1 primary federal roads first 2 national spread |
trillville:Why bother with these folks? They have no skin in the game. They pay no taxes( at least 99% of Nigerians do not) and yet, they expect government to do everything out of the money tree behind government house. Many of them, from the wealthy to the poor, use mobile phones worth 100,000K and above but do not contribute a farthing into the public purse. It is no wonder that the lack of civic awareness lead them to vote for rogues and touts. My entire educational life was done in schools with acceptable facilities. You cannot begin to appreciate the impact those facilities have had on me and my classmate. In the states, there is a direct correlation between the achievement gap and the educational infrastructure. It is not a coincidence that schools in black neighbourhoods under achieve when compared to others. This achievement gap follow them for the rest of their lives |
This man is a mofo iji*ot. Things that have evolved in spite of politicians and the Nigerian baggage. 1 arts industry 2 Fashion design 3 Music 4 Tech This clown can direct his twitirade to the clowns who follow him. Many of the tech lads that I know waltz from one foreign multinational tech job to another. They get employed directly from Nigeria and earn 6 figures salaries. From dubai to USA. |
The handiwork of Iweala. The so called expert who does not know the the No 1 task of a finance minister's. 1 find the money 2protect the money |
The largest amount allocated to any region is equivalent to the amount stolen by the illiterate NIMASA administrator under jonathan. A government this idiot was a part of. |
The writer of this thing needs urgent evaluation. One of the reasons why basic education should be prioritised is to reduce the no of people who might, in future, put up garbage post like this, people who vote PDP and people who run to pastors and Imams for miracle to solve the problems in their pathetic lives. You know why liberal( progressive) states like California New York,Maine, Connetticut, Massachusett etc throw money at education. I gave the reasons above They would rather cut everything and increase taxes than cut education. They double down on education. Refusing to do will result in neanderthals becoming the majority within one generation. By the way, the economy of California alone is bigger than the French economy One county ( local government area) in the state of California earns more from oranges than Nigeria will earn from crude oil this year. |

Proudly Yorùbá August 12 at 9:47am · In Yoruba language, human being is called Eniyan. This means "the chosen being (Eni Ayan)." There is no one chosen (Jesus, Neo, Muhammad, etc) as other Infant Religions claim. Each of us are chosen to become a living deity, Orisa. So what becomes of a human being who rejects their divine duty to become a living deity? They are no longer truly human beings, eniyan. They are then just flesh and blood like any animal. In fact, that is what they reduce themselves to being--an animal. In the system of Europoidsupremacism, this Black animal becomes the premier Beast of Burden. When the Europoid said the Black was a beast of burden who was only 3/5th human being, this upset the Black because that is exactly what he was allowing himself to be. This still infuriates Black people to hear because it's still true based on our INACTION to become full human beings like our great ancestors. Being a human being (eniyan) is not something you can claim from birth. It is similar as the difference between being an adult male and being a true man. You have to live up to the right to be called a man and to be called eniyan (human being). You don't claim it just by your words but your ACTIONS. In IFA: Yoruba Scientific Spirituality , to be eniyan you're required to be a vessel for God. If your self-image of God doesn't look like you, then you cannot claim to be a vessel for God. If you are Black yet bow down to an image of God that is not Black (this includes pink, beige, or yellow), you disgust the deity within and the god will vacate your blasphemous body. God will never use a beast of burden as his vessel. It is because most Blacks adopt foreign gods that the inner-deity leaves them and they are reduced to being 3/5ths a human being. The Inner-God is not interested in your complaints about the Europoid and Arab oppressing you, so save that for politics. Olodumare gave you the power to become ORISA! It is your Ori-Orun, divine-mind also known as the god-self. As a living god, no one can oppress you without you letting them!!!! Become Eniyan, the true Human Being who is a divine vessel for the LORD OF THE UNIVERSE, OLODUMARE. Yoruba Scientific Spirituality |
