These are all meant for laughter and are not to be taken seriously! Enjoy! cool
PoliticsRe: Election Of The Aare Ona Kakanfo Leader Of NL Yorubas Declared NULL & VOID by odumchi: 10:41pm On Apr 12, 2012
tenisuga: From the OP’s Desk.

It has come to my notice that there have been some manipulations that has rubbished this process of appointing a leader for NL Yorubas, also there were attempts to rubbish the highly referred tradition of Yoruba People by some ajeokutamamomi. Since I started this, I have to deal with it.

As a true daughter of Yorubaland, I can not allow this mess to continue. Therefore by the power self conferred on me as the YEYE AFOBAJE of NL Yorubas, I hereby declare this whole process NULL and VOID.

My decision cannot be appealed, anyone not satisfied can tie a heavy stone on his/her neck and jump into the deepest river around him or her.

Majority of true Yorubas are not ready to appoint an Ona Are kakanfo and an Asiwaju of NL Yorubas. When we are ready, we shall send you another memo.

In the Interim, also by the power self conferred on me as the YEYE AFOBAJE of NL Yorubas, the following shall hold attached offices in acting capacity till further notice and they cannot say No:

1. Dayokanu: Balogun of NL Yorubas
2. Katsumoto: Atanmole of NL Yorubas
3. Eko Ile: Akogun of NL Yorubas
4. Desola: Iyalode of NL Yorubas
5. Musiwa: Baba Isale of Benin Kindom

Eyi ti mo wi yi, aro a ro mo…. Ase!

You can all go home now, the party is over. I got a flight to catch too. See ya!
Lmao!

You guys are too much. So you mean you just wasted all these people's time?
And why is Musiwa Isale of Benin Kingdom? I thought this was Yoruba only? grin
PoliticsRe: South East Nigeria Needs Three International Airports by odumchi: 7:53pm On Apr 12, 2012
afam4eva: The truth is that Asaba has spoiled Onitsha's chance of getting an international airport, because it won't make sense for anoother airport to be built in Onitsha as the one in Asaba is too close to Onitsha. An agreement has to be entered by both parties for a join ownership of Asaba-Onitsha international airport. These two cities may just be the first true twin cities(just like minneapolis and St paul) in Nigeria.
Eaxtly. I've always imagined Asaba as Onitsha's satellite city.

PoliticsRe: NLNG Head-Quarters Moved To Port-Harcourt (From Victoria Island) by odumchi: 6:32pm On Apr 12, 2012
ndu_chucks: Good, so what percentage of these flyers travel on a regular basis and why? If only a handful of them need to travel frequently because telephones, emails, other electronic communications devices are insufficient to meet their needs, why can't those employees relocate? Why move the whole head quarters.

Again I ask you, what percentage of the staff at the Lagos head quarters have to travel on a regular basis to necessitate this move. If you don't know, simply state so, we don't have to know everything.

I hope you are not supporting this move due to tribal interests? I await your sensible response.

@odumchi, are heavy trucks used in exploratory activities parked in Lagos? huh
The issue is that there is equipment thats stored in the HQ that can't be flown. Think of it this way:

Would you rather live a few hundred miles from your source of income and constantly worry about it's integrity? Or would you prefer to live a few minutes from it?
CultureRe: Sun And Spirituality: Is There A Connection? by odumchi(mod): 6:24pm On Apr 12, 2012
The sun has played a paramount role in human society since it is afterall the source of all life. Without the sun; the earth would freeze over; crops wouldn't grow; people would die. This type of relationship with the sun is best understood by agricultural societies (especially those in Africa) since farmers understand that without the sun, nothing would grow.

Even the sun-worshipping Aztecs, the Incans, the Egyptians, and pretty much any other agricultural societies have a strong spiritual connection with the sun.
PoliticsRe: NLNG Head-Quarters Moved To Port-Harcourt (From Victoria Island) by odumchi: 6:10pm On Apr 12, 2012
KINGwax: why did u say 'drive' when it really will be 'fly'?
You can't fly equipment trucks.
