Al Nassr cruised to a 3-0 win over Al Quadisiya on match day 3 in the Saudi Pro League on Wednesday evening, with ex-Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa scoring all three goals at the Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Stadium.

Since moving abroad in 2010 from Kano Pillars, Musa has not managed to score a hat-trick for the teams he represented (VVV Venlo, CSKA and Leicester City) in a competitive fixture until his treble against Al Quadisiya.

The Super Eagles assistant captain opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a shot from just outside the box after receiving a through pass from Hamdallah.

He doubled the lead five minutes before half-time and Al Quadisiya’s hopes of mounting a comeback ended when the Nigerian scored again in the 66th minute.

Thanks to Musa’s hat-trick, Al Nassr provisionally top the standings with a hundred percent record in their first three games of the new season.

The team has another game again on Monday in which the Super Eagles forward will be looking to continue his rich vein of form.

Nigeria legend Vincent Enyeama has become a free agent after reaching an agreement with Lille today to terminate the contract that binds them, informs the official website of the Ligue 1 club.

The goalkeeper was on the books of Lille for seven years after joining from Hapoel Tel Aviv, though he spent the 2012-2013 season on loan at Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Enyeama posted 65 shutouts in 164 first-team games for Lille and conceded 156 goals in the matches.

In the 2013-2014 season, the 36-year-old netminder was very close to breaking the clean-sheet record held by retired Bordeaux numero uno Gaëtan Huard which he set in the 1992 - 1993 season.

He helped Lille qualify for the final of the 2016 Coupe de la Ligue against Paris Saint-Germain and featured for the club in the Europa League and Champions League.

Enyeama had spells at Ibom Stars, Enyimba and Heartland before joining Bnei Yehuda in 2005.

Juventus face Manchester United in group H, with Valencia and Young Boys completed the group.

Loris Karius has officially completed his two years loan move to Besiktas. The Liverpool goal keeper has fallen down the pecking order after his error in last season UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Loris Sven Karius (born 22 June 1993) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Süper Lig club Beşiktaş on loan from Premier League club Liverpool. He represented Germany at youth level.
Karius made 29 appearances for Jurgen Klopp side since arriving back from Mainz in 2016, where he made 91 appearances.
The German handed Real Madrid two goals due to his goal keeping errors, as Real Madrid won 3-1.
Liverpool have already signed Alisson Becker for record fee from Roma. The Brazilian is yet to concede a goal after three games in the league for Liverpool, who are on top of the league.

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, has linked up with Spanish Segunda division club, Elche FC on a season-long loan deal from Deportivo La Coruna.

The 19-year-old who was Nigeria’s first choice at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia was looking to move to a club where he will play regular football after his sudden rise to international stardom and should have his wish granted at the modest side.

“The club and the R.C. Deportivo de la
Coruña have agreed the transfer of goalkeeper Francis Uzoho on a one-year loan deal which comes after he played for Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia,” reads a statement on Elche’s official website on Friday.

The 19-year-old will have his medical at the club on Monday and will resume training with his teammates afterwards
.

Uzoho made two appearances for Deportivo La Coruna in the Spanish La Liga Santander last season.

He however played 28 games with the club’s B side ,Deportivo

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has explained the circumstances surrounding the absence of some key .ers in the squad that will take on Seychelles in the forthcoming 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier.

Rohr, speaking to the press in Lagos yesterday, said captain John Mikel Obi asked to be excused because he was just recovering from an injury.

“I considered his excuse and the long journey he has to make from China. He needs to focus on his fitness in order to recover fully for club and country.

“In the case of Shehu Abdullahi, he is celebrating Salah. He is not ready for the match, while Tyrone Ebuehi is recovering from an injury as well.”

Rohr also revealed that Chelsea star, Victor Moses, called him to explain he wanted to concentrate on his club and have more time for his family.

“Moses has a new coach who brought a new system. So he needs to work to adapt to new formation. I just hope his excuse is not a definitive retirement from the national team,” the German added.

Super Eagles and Leicester City star,Wilfred Ndidi has signed a new contract, keeping him at King Power Stadium until June 2024.

In the 18 months since his arrival from Belgian side KRC Genk, the 21-year-old has developed into one of the Premier League’s most exciting talents as well as a key member of Leicester City’s first team squad.

The Nigeria international, who represented his country at this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia, has played over 60 times for the Foxes and has been named the Club’s Young Player of the Year in each of the last two campaigns.

Ndidi began his career with Nathaniel Boys in the Nigerian city of Lagos, before moving to Europe to join Belgian side, Genk. The midfielder impressed with his performances in the Belgian First Division A and UEFA Europa League before the Foxes swooped to secure his services in January 2017.

Just two days after joining Leicester City, Ndidi made his debut away at Everton in a 2-1 victory for the Foxes at Goodison Park. In a sensational first campaign, the fan favourite was named Young Player of the Year after just four months with the Football Club, as well as representing the team in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.

David Silva shared an emotional moment with the Etihad crowd ahead of Manchester City's clash with Huddersfield Town on Sunday.

The Spaniard - back in the team after a leg problem - carried out his young son Mateo on to the pitch, just months after the youngster was fighting for his life.

Mateo was born prematurely last December and Silva spent the next five months dashing between Manchester to the Casa de Salud hospital in Valencia to be at his side as he slowly triumphed in his fight for life.

Alavaro Morata revealed his new tattoo as he celebrated a goal during the victory against Arsenal on Saturday - an image of his wife, Alice Campello.

Morata scored Chelsea's second of the game to put them 2-0 up and the tattoo of his wife could be seen on his forearm as he pumped his fist in the air to celebrate.

The pair have been married for just over a year and recently had their first children together - twins named Alessandro and Leonardo.

Morata shared the image of his new tattoo and also a celebration of him sucking his thumbs in tribute to his new born sons.

He captioned the photos: 'To you, who are my support, Alice Campello. To you, because you are the most beautiful thing we have made. Let's go, Chelsea!'

Family man Morata has already changed the number on his Chelsea shirt following the birth of his sons. He now wears 29 to mark the date they were born in July, rather than the No 9 from last season.

The Spaniard already has his wife's name, 'Alice', tattooed on him and has now added her face too.

The 25-year-old was also inked back in March in a bid to end a goal-scoring drought. It worked as he found the net against Leicester, ending 13 games without a goal.

He has now opened his account for the new season with a solo effort against Arsenal as he looks to cement his position as the first choice striker under Maurizio Sarri.

Cristiano Ronaldo is settling into life well with his new team-mates in Juventus. Despite his superstar status, the Portugal icon still had to do a new-boy initiation.

Ronaldo got up in front of all his new team-mates on Friday night to sing a song, as part of a welcome procedure that every new signing has to go through.

Ronaldo was spared any special treatment and was hauled up in front of the squad with fellow new signings Joao Cancelo, Mattia Perin and Emre Can.


A chair was set aside for the newcomers in a private function suite full of the Juventus squad and coaching staff.

The 33-year-old kept his pick native to his motherland and opted for a classic hit by iconic Portuguese rock band Xutos e Pontapés.

Athletics great Usain Bolt has arrived in Australia ahead of his attempt to earn a professional football contract with A-League club Central Coast Mariners.

The winner of eight Olympic gold medals, the retired Jamaican sprinter is attempting to fulfil his dream of being paid to play the beautiful game.

Bolt, who has previously trained with Borussia Dortmund, is set to be afforded an "indefinite" period to impress Mariners coach Mike Mulvey and the club's hierarchy.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will make his Serie A debut in his side’s season-opening clash with Chievo on Saturday.

Bakayoko sends message to Chelsea after joining AC MilanTiemoue Bakayoko has sent a message to Chelsea after completing his season-long loan from the west London side to AC Milan.

Ageless legendary striker Samuel Eto’o will continue his illustrious career at Qatar SC after moving to the Qatari outfit on a free.

The 37-year-old former Cameroon international has been on the move for his 13th club having been released by Turkish Super Lig side Konyaspor at the end of the last season.

Eto’o had earlier confirmed talks with French Ligue 1 teams, stating that he is ‘open to offers from France’. But it is the Qatari outfit who have swooped for the signature of one of Africa’s most decorated player.

On Monday evening, the Doha based outfit announced the signature of the former Barcelona and Chelsea marksman – set to be unveiled on Tuesday.

If everything goes well with her relationship, veteran actor Jide Kosoko will give her hand out in marriage any time from now.

When asked who the lucky man is, our source said he is based in the United States.

Bidemi Kosoko is a Nollywood actress. She was born on October 21, 1988 in a family of actors. Her father is Prince Jide Kosoko, who is a veteran actor and the former president of Association of Theatre Arts (ANTP). Henrietta Kosoko, her stepmother and her sister, Sola Kosoko are actresses.

The two sisters, Bidemi Kosoko and Sola Kosoko were born by the same mother who died in 1993. There is not much information available about their biological mother. She is a graduate of Theatre Arts from Lagos State University. She is known for her amazing roles in Yoruba movies.

Emma Nyra is now a mother. The singer has welcomed a set of twins as her first birth.

In an Instagram post, the singer poured out her heart as she expressed sheer love at the birth of her twins on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

With the names, Alexandría and Alexander, the singer was delivered of the twins on August 11, 2018, at about 2:00 AM.

Feeling so excited to begin her journey into motherhood, Emma Nyra explained how the news of her twins changed her world totally when she thought nothing could be bigger than her career in 10 years.

“I have never been so inspired and full of love as I am today. With style and full force, you’ve both entered this world and forever impacted my destiny. My career has been my top priority for the past ten years of my life, so you can imagine that I was surprised and shocked for what God had in store for me! Last year I overbooked and overworked myself tirelessly just to be able to accomplish one of my biggest goals which were to move into my dream home in Lagos!

“I was in a place in my life where I couldn’t imagine being more content! My parents were extremely proud of all of my accomplishments and my personal life was full of love and friends that encouraged me, since we all have similar goals and dreams.

“Then I received a piece of information that would change my life forever! God had much bigger plans for me! I was blessed with the news that I was pregnant with twins. During the course of the next 9 months, I made a conscious decision to abstain from public outings and to keep away from major social media posts so that I could fully concentrate on my health and my personal life.

“On August 11, 2018 in the early morning of 2 am, after 36 hours of labor, I gave birth to two beautiful children Alexandría and Alexander. The babies and I are doing very well by Gods’ Grace! I want to thank every single person who supported me and sent me well wishes, advice, and encouragement.

“I’m so excited to begin this journey of motherhood and I deeply encourage all women, especially mothers of multiples, to feel free to share your experiences and advice with me! “
