ikeg7416:Guy, FOR THE LAST TIME, DIRECT YOUR COMPLAINTS TO NAIJ!!!! And let's even assume that my sources (naija and http://www.worldstopexports.com/nigerias-top-10-exports/ are wrong, WHERE IS YOUR OWN CONTRARY DATA? The onus is on YOU (even though you are a non-entity) to PROVE via contrary evidence that they are wrong. Provide that as a counter or forever hold your peace and SHUT THA FVCK UP!! |
ikeg7416:Ok. fine. You are obviously blind but that's alright. But if you reject that, what about the respected Professor Omaliko's recent submission here that: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php "Professor Omaliko disclosed that at least 60 per cent of the fish sold at Onitsha markets come from Ibadan."If the city of Ibadan alone can be supplying at least over half of the fish sold in Onitsha (your biggest market ), then abeg end-of-discussion. Wetin you wan export when you never even meet local demand?? |
ikeg7416:Guy, I presented you with two SEPARATELY verifiable independent references: https://www.naij.com/499136-see-much-nigeria-earned-non-oil-commodities-2014.html and http://www.worldstopexports.com/nigerias-top-10-exports/ Now, obviously you have a problem with the reports contained therein, which is fine coz you're entitled to feel that way. But I don't have a problem with the sources and their reports (which I'm also entitled to). I'll urge you and any other person that has a problem with these sources to direct your questions at the authors of the news reports. Why not just do your own 'research' and come up with the data of your findings on the non-oil export earnings? Coz you are just telling us you disagree yet you are not presenting any contrary data. Get to work boy~ Dig up your own data that favours Igboland. ![]() |
ikeg7416:I don't think your scrutinize your own data before you put them up coz unfortunately they keep embarrassing and making you look further and further stvpid. On the list of companies you put up there, the names of the owner, their current state and their locations are also contained therein. Your list only contains just ONE SE/Igbo owned Leather Factory/Tannery in Nigeria (number 10 on the list), situated in Enugu State (Oji River Tannery), and it also shows that the factory is lying Idle. Now the list also has a two Lagos-based Tanneries, one clearly owned by a Yorubaman (Ajayi Tannery, number 17 on the list), it says it's a "100% Nigerian Company" and lists their product as "Finished Web Blue". The second Lagos based Tannery is "Jointly owned" by Foreigners and Nigerians. So, from your own list, your region doesn't even have a working Leather Tannery, for all the noise you all make. Without a doubt, those working Tanneries are responsible for the bulk of Leather export earnings in Nigeria. Now, the result of the mushroom small-scale leather production emanating from your region (which you alluded to) has already been captured in the naij.com breakdown of the non-oil exports revenue I presented earlier (wherein an allocation of $70.3 million dollars was made to Aba-made footwares). ![]() https://www.naij.com/499136-see-much-nigeria-earned-non-oil-commodities-2014.html Scrutinize your own data first before presenting them, that way you don't end up looking like some emotionally deranged lout. Onyeara. |
ikeg7416:Then go and get recommended glasses coz one of those Commercial farms falls WITHIN Ondo state, not Bendel, PUNK! Even a blind person can see that (I have attached a screenshot of it for clarity). Your mischief isn't fooling anyone except maybe your loser fellows.
|
ikeg7416:Guy, why are you like this for goodness sakes? You presented a Map that clearly shows Hides and Skins Activity areas in Nigeria, wherein Lagos and Oyo are shown to have the most Leather Processing Factories in Nigeria (Lagos with 4 factories and Oyo with 2), while the SE trails just 2 -- one at Anambra and Another at Abia. YOUR OWN MAP SAYS THAT. Yet you still had the NERVE to write the above quote? Upon all the noise you all make, Oyo state alone has as much Leathermaking Factories as the entire SE region. Where the fvck is your SHAME Smh. |
ikeg7416:Dude, you are a Fooool. You presented a map AS YOUR ONLY CONTRARY EVIDENCE against my assertion, which has the following 'KEY' benchmarks (I'll break it down for you since you are obviously too LAZY to scrutinize your own Map), I'm using the data contained in your own Map to embarrass you :National Accelerated Production Projects - The SW had 6, SS had 5, SE had 3 (according to YOUR Map) Special Fish Development Projects - The SW had 4, SS had 2, SE had 1 (according to YOUR Map) Model Fish Farm Projects - The SW had 2, SS had none, SE one (according to YOURMap) Fish Seed Multiplication Project - The SW 3, SS 2, SE 1 (according to YOUR Map) Commercial Fish Farm - The SW had 1, SS 1, SE 0 (according to YOUR Map) So what the fvck are you talking about? Your region is the LEAST productive in this respect -- even though the overall proceeds relatively aren't worth that much. You are madd. |

|
ikeg7416:Anumanu, you must be blind o, coz even your own map shows that Ondo and Rivers are the only two states IN THE SOUTH that produce Fish in COMMERCIAL FISH FARMS. Oyo, Ogun, and Ondo have as much Fish Multiplication projects as your region and the SS combined. From your same Map, the SW has more Model Fish Farm Projects, Special Fish Development Projects, and National Fish Acceleration Development project (4) than any other region in the South -- SS/SE has just 2. Check your own map again, and this time more slowly and then come back and tell me if the SW doesn't dominate it. Dumbo! The only omission I will acknowledge is that I didn't include the North on that list coz they deserve to be there. I've told you that the SS/NigerDelta is not even in reckoning here coz they obviously produce most of Nigeria's revenue. So what are you making noise about?? You can't even show any data that supports your region producing fish in Commercial quantity and you are here making noise. You can't even demonstrate any SE impact in any meaningful thing without lumping yourself with the SS. Tufiakwa. Na only Cassava and Yam una sabi grow?? Onyeara. |
ikeg7416:I deliberately left out your SE region in such areas where their contribution can be deemed.. well... negligible at best. E.g, with respect to Rubber, Abia is the only Rubber producing state on the list in the image you provided, while the SW has Ogun, Ondo, and Ekiti. I omitted the SS here coz they weren't really in reckoning as they already take the lead in Oil production so it's between the SW, SE and the North by my reckoning. My assertion concerning Cashew is based on what obtains on ground presently. As at today, Ogbomosho/Oyo is the number one Cashew exporting state. A visit to the Agric section of this forum will clear your doubts, or you can peruse the link below. https://www.nairaland.com/2204060/cashew-nut-farming-best-most Like seriously, is that the best comeback you could summon?? So na only Yam and Cassava una sabi grow pass for SE? ? Smh. I'm done. Need to get some shut eye. |
kaakulator3:Omo iya, abeg let us give them this victory. Na only Yam and Cassava dem dey contribute to Nigeria's economy. At all, at all na im bad. ![]() |
ikeg7416:Lol. So the summary of this whole thread is that CASSAVA AND YAMS ARE THE ONLY NOTEWORTHY CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE SE TO NIGERIA? ? ? ![]() |
ikeg7416:Well, he's as much a liar as the former Agric Minister whose statements you rejected as false concerning Cocoa exports value. Who gives a fvck anyway?? You are still a non-entity so who cares? |
ikeg7416:Lol. Here's a list of real forex generators for the country (including the REAL CASH CROPS, not pretenders ) and their estimated earnings. Sadly the SE, Yams and Cassava are conspicously missing on the list.Cocoa exports, $666.45m (SW) raw hides, skins and leather, $487.97m. (North/SW) Oil seeds, grains and plant/straw, $389.78m; (SW/North) Aluminium, $113.35m; Tobacco, $109.05m; (SW) Tins, $96.32m; (SW/North) edible fruits and nuts, $75.24m; (SW/North) Rubbers, $70.03m (SW) Footwear, $62.89m. (SE) Copper, $59.6m; Fish and crustaceans, $55.68m; (SW) Cottons, yarns and woven, $21.87m. (North/SW) ![]() https://www.naij.com/499136-see-much-nigeria-earned-non-oil-commodities-2014.html http://www.worldstopexports.com/nigerias-top-10-exports/ |
ikeg7416:Please how much FX do Yam and Cassava contribute to the national coffers? Don't tell me that all those millions of tons you all are growing out there are going to waste? ? ? Una Yam suppose export and earn more than Cashew sef, not to talk of rubber or Cocoa. What's up with that? ? |
ikeg7416:You are crazy. You rejected my own Cocoa news sources and references and now you dey show me reuben abati quote? Onyeara. |
ikeg7416:Why you wan run na? Your cookedup stat from '90s' wey you dey use beat chest no even reflect anything close to your other 2007 'stat' wey indicate close margin between SE and SW Yam production, so the joke is actually on you coz your sources are incoherent which is to be expected because they are fake. They don't represent reality. They are cooked-up and therefore invalid. Your facts don't measure up to mine coz they're mere figments of your imaginations. Till tomorrow, the SW will continue to remain your bosses in every sphere that matters. Even if you produce all the Yams in Africa, it still doesn't amount to much because your yams are not translating into Ego (money) . Yam exports don't even come up on the list of foreign exchange earners, neither does Cassava . Why? I guess they're not so valuable on a relative scale. This just highlights how you all 'major in the minors'. When it comes to the REAL CASH CROPS like Cocoa, Rubber, Cashew, the South West will continue to fly the flag while you all can keep growing and eating your yams. ![]() |
kaakulator3:He's going to cookup some more 'stats'. Truth is like pregnancy, you can't hide it. The sad thing is that both the numbers and realities on ground don't support their 'stats' and 'facts'. When it comes to Agriculture, be it Cash Crops (including the REAL revenue earners included), the SW is only second to the North and the MiddleBelt. Even Governor Obiano, their governor admitted on record that ALL the poultry eaten in the entire SE comes from the Oyo. Another prominent Igbo is also on record for saying at least 60% of all the Fish consumed in Anambra alone are from Ibadan. Imagine that? Just one state in the SW is supplying the entire SE her poultry meat, and the same state is responsible for at least 60% of their fish. Choi!http://www.yohaig.ng/newspapers/the-punch/anambra-firm-sign-mou-on-n13bn-poultry/ “At the moment, all the day-old chicks sold in the South-East are brought in from Oyo State."https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php "Professor Omaliko disclosed that at least 60 per cent of the fish sold in Onitsha markets come from Ibadan." |
ikeg7416:Lol. My source is here morafocka (was saving it as my smoking gun ). Plus, my own data is more up-to-date than yours o. Na 2012 Shey you see am? Remember say Anambra no even dey the list o, abi you pulled that one out of your anus? Please what is the value of that image you just showed? Coz even your own earlier 'data' showed that the SW produces more Sorghum than the SE ![]()
|
ikeg7416:My own FACTS are more credible than yours. I have a separate source that shows that the SW produces MORE Yams than the SE, contrary to YOUR 'facts'. As you can see from that source, only ONE SE state is listed as a major Yam producer (Imo), while 6 Yoruba states are listed. So how the funk did your stat about the SE producing more Yams than the SW come about? So much for your 'FACTS' morafocka ![]()
|
ikeg7416:Listen up punk. Your thread was in response to this: https://www.nairaland.com/2521578/nigerian-states-what-produce Remember? ? So you went and cooked up your own 'research', pdf it and presented it as a rebuttal. That's fine and all, but you're not expecting intelligent folks like myself to accept it now are you? YOU DATA LACKS CREDIBILITY. That's the point. If you had presented an independent source now, maybe that would have given you some of the credibility you obviously crave so desperately. Next time, use independent sources and references, not your personal 'research'. ![]() |
ikeg7416:Guyman, you are very stvpid coz nothing on that thread is credible as ALL the data therein were fabricated, made-up and contrived by YOU the OP, based on your pdf 'research' and in response to a separate thread you were trying to refute -- you acknowledged that yourself. Hello ?? ? You can't just shove your bullshyt down people's throat and expect them to swallow it, same way you refuse my sources -- even though mine are MORE credible than yours coz they're INDEPENDENT AND VERIFIABLE NEWS SOURCES. Yours ARE NOT. Get it? ? ? |
ikeg7416:You are a fraudster with no iota of shame. Carry your 419 pdf 'research' and shove it up your arse coz you ain't fooling no one. Your 'research' ain't worth tits coz you are fraudster and have no shred of credibility. At least I presented INDEPENDENT sources as references. You had to go as far as contriving graphs and fake figures. You're one miserable loser. |
kaakulator3:Are you minding the fool?? He's the author of that 419 thread. He did his independent 'research' and cooked-up graphs, figures, and maps, PDF am and upload am to one jankara website so he can bamboozle us. |
ikeg7416:Olofo, I already said it that you are a 419er, and you will keep exposing yourself. Oya, where in this link: http://www.fao.org/docrep/004/x6762e/X6762E04.htm as referenced, are these diagrams in the attached image/screenshot? Abeg make una help me click the link and find those diagrams oooo.
|
ikeg7416:Guy, if dem born you well, go through that thread and screenshot those cookedup maps, diagrams and information from the links (show us where in the referenced links are those maps, images and information that the OP put up in that thread, IF YOU DARE!!! You cannot SIMPLY BECAUSE IT WAS ALL MADE UP!! As per Cocoa, whether you choose to believe the former Agric Minister or the NEPC's reports really doesn't matter at the end of the day coz you are a non-entity. Besides, Flyoruboy adequately handled that loafer in the thread you referenced and took him to the cleaners (https://www.nairaland.com/2496058/debunking-latest-lie-nigeria-did#36519897). You are just pained that your region, as loud as you all are, are actually empty vessels whose contributions are practically worthless. You can chose to debate how many billions Cocoa exports are worth annually, but that won't change the fact that it is still the nation's number one non-oil export commodity and revenue earner and nothing contributed by the combined SE states comes close to matching such earnings. |
ikeg7416 or whatever you call yourself, you are nothing but a confirmed 419er. Those cooked-up Agric stats and figures you touted were gotten from that dubious thread one of your brothers opened, with no verifiable source(s) or reference. The links the OP provided do not even contain any data that remotely refers to any of the bullcrap contained in the OP's submissions; the maps and all the data were contrived from God-knows-where, and that includes your attached image table of your imaginary 2007 stats. And how dare you say 'no one knows what is the real percentage of income cocoa brings in on daily basis' when the former Agric Minister has been quoted severally and on record for putting a figure to the export value of Cocoa exports out of this country? http://newsherald.com.ng/2013/09/04/nigeria-earned-900m-from-cocoa-in-2012-adesina/ http://thenationonlineng.net/nigeria-earns-900m-cocoa-export-says-adesina/ “The cocoa revolution in Nigeria is receiving global attention. Nigeria’s cocoa production grew from 250,000 Mt in 2011 to 370,000 Mt by 2013, and our cocoa exports earned over $900 million.'Unless you are calling him a liar -- any report that doesn't emanate from the SE is a lie to you all anyway. Also according to Naij's report on the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) data for 2014: https://www.naij.com/499136-see-much-nigeria-earned-non-oil-commodities-2014.html Nigeria earned a total sum of $2.4bn from the exportation of cocoa, rubber, and other non-oil commodities within the 2014 fiscal period. The NEPC estimates show that cocoa exports with a total amount of $666.45m accounted for the highest non-oil export earnings, followed by raw hides, skins and leather with $487.97m. Oil seeds, grains and plant/straw – $389.78m; aluminium, $113.35m; tobacco, $109.05m; tins, $96.32m; edible fruits and nuts, $75.24m; rubbers, $70.03m and footwear, $62.89m. Others are copper, $59.6m; fish and crustaceans, $55.68m; plastics, $54.63m; lead, $46.65m; nickel, $27.35m; cottons, yarns and woven, $21.87m.Oya, where's your own verifiable data that shows what the SE contributes to the National commonwealth? Not some cooked-up and unverifiable diagram and links please. |
Ritchiee:Why even bother? I don't understand why they keep creating the impression that Yorubas don't want them to leave Nigeria. How? Why? I can't but wish them luck in their quest. |
Awesome news. Leather exports actually do contribute a substantial chunk to the nation's non-oil revenues. |
betterABIAstate:That's fine bro. And you're entitled to that. But that doesn't mean much in the overall scheme of things. |
