Bullshyt. In the presentday Nigeria we need to vote like the igbos for self preservation. An Atiku win would result in the marginalization of the Yoruba people. I am a Yoruba nationalist with a pragmatic approach to politics. Our sophistication is bullshyt and ends up shortchanging us in instances like this one.

Yoruba is supposed to vote the Ibo way. If Ibo can vote 98% for PDP, Yoruba is supposed to vote 98% vote for APC. Baba Ogunde cried Yoruba Ronu till death. Late Gbenga Adeboye did the same. It seems they are under curse.

I couldn't agree with you more. Infact it's sickening. I recently told two pro-buhari Oyo men that if Buhari should lose this election it will be due to lack of enough SW votes. Our people have forgotten that his election is about regional interests. Our much touted sophistication may cost us more heavily if we continue with this foolishness. Even if not for any other reason, they should have considered Osinbajo that is also on the ticket. My only consolation is that Buhari will most likely still end up winning in spite of this unimpressive SW showing.

This election should just come and go so that all these madness will end.

I’m not impressed with APC’s response so far. The party must take drastic measures between today and Friday to avoid being rigged out on Saturday by PDP and the compromised INEC. PDP is not playing by the rules, APC should stop them using every means possible. I don’t understand why the party has not mounted a nationwide campaign for the removal of Okechukwu Ibeanu and REC’s of states where card readers, ballot papers and other sensitive materials have disappeared or got burnt. PDP had compromise the electoral process through crooked INEC officials, APC must respond in kind ASAP.

You have spoken the truth. If Buhari doesn't use this extension window to amend some of the issues you raised he might just end up losing the election because his utterances suggests that he is being naive. He has forgotten that he is dealing with familiar foes whom had successfully rigged him out of contention on more than one occasion in the past. PDP are veteran riggers who are willing and determined to do whatever it takes to oust the APC, that much they have demonstrated abundantly. They actually believe they can win this election and are pulling all stops to make it happen. Buhari had better wise up lest he gets rigged out..

I recall a close friend of mine once told me how complacency cost Fayemi his second term ambition to Fayose even after he and other close personal friends of his tried alerting and jolting him out of false comfort in his power of incumbency. He dismissed his warnings and it cost him back then.

Demand for state burial doesn't mean it was accepted. Ojukwu never received a state burial. I have showed you proof that the demand was REJECTED. That is the fact.

Aerodrome GRA at Samonda alone has more expensive edifices than anything in his entire state. That is just one estate in IB. Not to mention the recently completed Crimson court at Jericho.

The aerial views of fringe Ogun towns and estates that border Lagos, e.g Arepo, Magboro, Mowe, Ibafo, etc, beats anything they have in their entire region. Magodo 2 at isheri alone beats anything they have to offer, not to mention Arepo's citiView estates, both in Ogun state. The difference between us and them is that we are not as desperate as they are to prove any point like them -- he goes as far as desperately commissioning aerial drone shots of his region's GRAs and private residences all for the sake of dick-measuring and showing off real estate development.

More individual real estate developments are happening in Ogun and Oyo than the entire SE x3, coz our people are building their own homes and take pride in doing so (even if na bungalow self) than living in those gaudy looking-type 'high-rises' that litter the SE landscape -- it should be obvious that their preference for such buildings is due to scarcity of land, a problem which we don't have in our region). They will rather live in those gaudy looking things than build their own houses due to shortage of land.

Personally, I have long fashied this business of measuring dicks with them because it is pointless really, and has no effect outside of NL (it still won't stop Emeka from boarding the next bus to the SW this very evening ), that's beside the fact that it has long been settled on this very forum that won o ki'n se egbe wa). Isn't it crazy how the guy has so suddenly abandoned Obiano, as in? This was bound to happen over time. Apple (especially) needs to learn from BlackBerry's fall from grace and invest more in quality lower budget offerings or else its market share will only continue to dip. Nothing lasts forever, but at least they can study the trends and adjust accordingly.

Bro, on this I will disagree with you. I like Amosun for some of his strides, but politically you are overrating him, in my opinion. The best way for Amosun to have proved that he is indeed the 'big kahuna' of Ogun politics would have been for him to defect along with his loyalists to APM and then achieve his senatorial ambition under that mushroom platform (after all, he can still support Buhari from any other platform). That is the only way he could have really proved his mettle. But he knows that would be political suicide if he attempts such at this late hour bro. He's smart enough to know that it is too late to decamp and win anything meaningful which is why he has tactfully remained in APC to ride on Buhari/APC wave to his own victory. In his heart he knows his loyalists don't stand a chance in APM under the current political configuration in the state because the party virtually lacks any structure to enable it have any meaningful impact enough to win elections.

Amosun is just one person whom has done his two terms in office and lost out in a power game in his own backyard.
