Am only here to take records of the children of hates. frankdoz how many Afonjas have you counted already? |
Indiaindia:You won't believe I once parked my car and joined an IPOB rally in Enugu with my boy. After the rally, I took keke back to where I parked the car and you won't believe the driver took nothing from us, because one guy with us was with a flag. You need to see how people were protecting a common flag, you need to see how people were respecting flag more than their lives. That day, I saw a Movement, I saw an ideology, a Spirit. I don't expect Trump to do anything. Atleast I'll feel more secured during rallies, without fearing flying bullets. If you think Trump will disappoint in that respect, then you are on a long thing. Very long thing. #VivaTheSun. #IStandWithTheSun |
Etogist:pls acknowledge the owner. Its my favorite NK quote. I don't knw why I just love that man. |
This is not an Anti-Trump wailing thread, but a thread for all enemies of humanity, the 20th January end time evangelists to wail when their so called end-of-the-world prophecy is shattered again as usual. There is one thing they share in common: Obama will not hand over to Trump come 20th If you are here and yet to hear about the prophecies of MrPresident1, who continuously propagates his 20th Jan end of the world prophecies; then you are definitely new here. MrPresident1:Check his profile to read directly from all the threads. If you haven't heard of MrPresident1, definitely you must have heard of Sukkot, another 'Obama will not hand over to Trump' prophet. 20th Jan is at the corner, you doom is here. https://www.nairaland.com/3402975/obama-never-leaving-office-say Another honourable mention is Prophet T.B Joshua, though not an 'Obama will hand over to Trump' or a 20th Jan end-time prophet, but "...saw a woman in white house" 20th January is at the corner, we formally welcome them all to thread to tell us the reason for another new day. |
The silly ecowas that can't enforce the verdict of her court wants to flex muscle with Gambia becos she is a small country. |
odogwubiafra:Everything you said is true, especially with respect to SE. I entered Aba from Enugu with my family for Christmas shopping before travelling to Akwa Ibom 2days later as customary in my family. I noticed an observation I shared with my wife. For over 5 years we developed this custom, I av never seen an empty Aba like I saw on 28th-30th, the hotel was not as before. It seems many people travelled even in the midst of recession. Please can I see that report on SE? That is BTW, my interest is in the use of the phrase 'fiscal policy'. FP is nothing but the use of tax and budget to influence the direction of the economy. While MMM played a role in re-distributing wealth, it does nothing to augment our FP, because its not a FP tool. We can use FP to strengthen MMM, but we can't use MMM as a FP tool. Let the Sun Shine. |
odogwubiafra:I'll not insult you becos your moniker contains an identity I respect so much. Please, how has MMM augment CBN's monetary policy and FG's fiscal policy? To me, MMM is a threat to our economy, monetary policy in particular. So Odogwu, convince your boy. |
dvee2:U said Isreal pressured Jonathan through phone call to abstain from voting. I pointed it out to you that Jonathan abstained because of his relations with Isreal, not because of any silly phone call. I made it clear to you that with or without any phone call, Jonathan will never support Palestine because of Pro-Isreal sentiment among Christians of Southern Nigeria. In your ignorance you stated that our int'l politics is never affected by religion which I disagreed by providing an extract. My position still remains the same, our FP with Isreal is influenced by religion of the person in power. Insults doesn't make you look intelligent. |
aperture11:Do u know out of the world 50 most lethal missiles, Russian Missiles occupy position 1-22, while the most advanced missile in US arsenal occupies position 23rd? Do u know the sarmat, one missile in Russia can destroy entire France. Dropping just 3 missiles, 1 in France, Uk and Germany will make the entire Europe to surrender to Russia. The frightening thing is there is no defence against Sarmat currently. NATO is never a threat to Russia. |
dvee2:Please wake up. Its past dream time. Jonathan pursued a Pro-Isreal policy, Buhari is pursuing a Pro-Palestine policy. Sorry, Religion affects our FP with Isreal. Read the extract below: ...another important factor also considered was the religious point of view back home, with many Nigerian Muslims supporting Palestine, while there is a Christianity affiliation between Nigeria and Israel. http://www.post-nigeria.com/nigeria-pulls-last-minute-surprise-to-block-palestinian-un-resolution-israels-netanyahu-hails-jonathan/ |
MONITZ:All those military build up is because Europe does not pose a threat to Russia. Like Russia said, Europe is not a problem because ONE missile will solve that problem. The ediots cheering America doesn't know that: 1. Russia has fought more war than US, hence more experienced than US. 2. Russia has the fastest military. Can fully mobilize for war even b4 u finishing a cup of cold war. 3. Out of the top 50 missiles, Russia alone occupies position 1-22, while US' Minuteman 3 missile, the most advanced missile in US arsenal occupies 23rd. 4. Russia military doctrine of first hit policy allows Russia to use her nuclears first. 5. US is still using 1970 missiles 6. US is afraid of Russia, that is why they litter Europe with their anti missile defence systems, not because they love Europe but cos of fear. 7. Russian missiles cost far lesser than US' 8. Russia, China and North Korea can defeat the whole world. |
dvee2:sometimes I wonder the kinds of graduate our universities are producing this time around. Stop embarrassing us as a Nation. If you think Obama didn't influence our election. Am sorry for you. This is the same man that openly endorsed Jonathan in 2011. GEJ fell out with him 'cause of the EPA. Jonathan ran a Pro-Isreal foreign policy since 2010. If you think Jonathan as a Christian, Nigerian Christian for that matter will vote against Isreal in UN, then u are beyond redemption. |
cstr55:US will only scale up their military around Russia but will never dare Russia. Like Russia said, Europe is never a problem because one missile will solve that. Russia is more advanced in nuclear weaponry than US. Bulk of US' missiles are still the 1960 class. US has limited capability to hit Moscow from US, they will have to move some missiles to Europe, but Russia can hit Washington directly from Moscow, this is the reason why Washington is littering Europe with their anti-missile defence which is a threat to Russian missile's in early flight. But the Sarmat missile, the most devastating missile ever built was specifically designed to invade those petty defence system and capable of wiping out entire France and NY. Because of Russian 'Hit First' military policy, Europe will surrender to Russia even before US mobilize fully for war. US most lethal missile is the Minutesman 3 introduced in 1970, carrying just a single warhead. US can not lay waste a single continent (maybe except Africa) but Russia can. Out of the 50 most lethal ICBMs, Russian missiles occupy position 1-22. That is, the world top 22 Missiles are Russian operated, while US' Minuteman 3 occupies the 23rd position. The UK's most advanced Trident 3 occupies the 32nd position, France M4, 33rd position, China's DF-5, 37th position, Isreal's Jericho 3, 49th position. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_ICBMs?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C5914564774 "We love accuracy." Lewis (Dr. Jeffrey Lewis, the founding publisher of Arms Control Wonk) says the US's ideal nuke is "a tiny little nuclear weapon we'll fly right through the window and blow up the building." Meanwhile, the Russians would rather put 10 warheads on the building and level the whole city, civilians and all. "You see it in Syria, that's how they show it off," Lewis said of Russia's air campaign in Syria, where Moscow has been accused of using cluster bombs, incendiary munitions, and indiscriminately bombing hospitals and refugee camps. This careless and brutal attitude is a defining trait of Russia's military. For instance, Russia's leaked Status 6 nuclear "doomsday" weapon, a "robotic mini-submarine" that can make 100 knots with a range of 6,200 miles is a nuclear-armed dirty bomb. The bomb would not only nuke, but turn the waters around a harbor radioactive for years to come. The US never even considers this kind of devastation, and they don't want to. http://www.businessinsider.com/us-vs-russia-nuclear-weapons-2016-9 |
ivandragon:Thanks |
ivandragon:Am definitely copying this. Permission to do that. |
Which loot again. I thought the President said Abacha stole nothing. |
godwinkessi:The Minister of defence uses one. |
dvee2:This is really ridiculous. If you believe a leader that stood against US backed EU EPA package will be pressured by Isreal, then you will believe anything. Why do u think Obama who openly supported Jonathan 2011 election bid, later fell out with the man. Jonathan fell out with Obama after rejecting this EPA just like Analysts predicted. If you think Jonathan voted NO cause of Benji, then you are on a long thing. Pro-Isreal is part of Jonathan FP and will vote NO, over and over again. Since 2010 Jonathan had been running a strong Pro-Isreal FP, before that vote had been in Isreal twice, the strengthen bi-lateral relations led to the signing of an agreement to allow direct flight bw Abuja and Tel Aviv, in 2011 after the UN building bombing Isreali security were deployed to manage security at the State house temporarily. We voted against Isreal not as a result of any fvcking pressure, but rather a friendly relationship with them. Next time you want to lie, gather small kids and the zombies. Jonathan is an Ijaw man. No fvcking leading dictates to him. |
In 8 days time, Trump will open up all Obama's atrocities that Hillary would have hidden. |
hamzeiy:God bless the womb that gave birth to you. The tide will definitely change with Trump coming into play in the next 8 days. |
africansunite:Trump is Pro-Taiwan and Anti-China. Explicitly de-recognizing Taiwan will definitely put us on a collusion path with Trump. Both of us know what US govt is capable of doing. Just a call to the Hague, the country will tilt towards instability. The country is facing about 8 charges currently at that court, should Trump show interest in them. Your ranting online wouldn't save us. Definitely Buhari did that for the good of the Nation, but should have exercised a little restrain until we see the direction of Trump's foreign policy with China. |
Saintp:If Jonathan can stand against EU's EPA proposal, why can't Buhari do the same than surrendering our FP to some Asians. After 'somebody' will now claim Buhari is stronger than Jonathan. If we continue to behave like this, none of our leader will ever make the Top 25 most powerful people in the world. |
Buhari will do anything to fund his budget of yams. This policy might pit us against the incoming US govt. He should have waited a little longer. |
banki:I av used that runway 5 good times, 4 times for domestic flights (2 arrivals and 2 departures) and once for int'l flight (1 departure) So 'll be very stupid to argue against fixing that runway. Am not against fixing the runway, am against diverting ALL flights to Kaduna. About the helicopter, it was the FG that made mention of using helicopter to connect Kaduna to Abuja, my position then was since the FG wants to do this, why not divert to Lag and reconnect with helicopter as they intended to do with Kad. This was my position until u pointed out how expensive that would be. If you check my previous comments, you would find out my position remains diverting int'l flights to Lag and domestics to Minna which is 151km to Abuja on road, about 2 hrs 30mins. Jos to Abuja is about 268KM, about 3 hrs 45 mins. |
Enice:Only Zombies want int'l flight diverted to Kaduna. I don't knw wht they intend to achieve with that. The operators have already stated in clear terms during their last stakeholders meeting that they are not diverting to Kaduna. |
banki:I don't want to believe you are having issues with comprehension. My position is against diverting to Kaduna not repairing bad runaway. 2016 budget does not capture the rehabilitation of Kaduna-Abuja road. So I don't know where he wants to get 1bn to rehabilitate that road. The stakeholders are not happy and you can't force them to divert to Kaduna that is relatively unsafe for them. International flight operators in their last stakeholders meeting had already stated that in clear terms. In quote “We believe Kaduna may be an alternative for local operators but definitely not for international airline operators. But we will get back on this,”- Mr. Osho Joseph. According to the aviation minister “what I have is not final. We are still open to new knowledge on this matter. At the end of our preparation, stakeholders will be invited to inspect Kaduna to ask further questions.” So the decision to divert to Kaduna is not final and you can't force the operators against their will. On security, he explained that the federal government and the Kaduna State Government will provide “security within the airport, Kaduna Metropolitan City, enroute to railway station & along Kaduna- Abuja road.” He also said air surveillance of the entire route will be provided by the Police and the Air Force even as road safety personnel will be deployed to ensure smooth flow of traffic. 24 hrs aerial surveillance on a 206KM road for 6 wks by the airforce and police is near impossible, and will be very costly. Why would they promise what we know they won't do. A sensible person will start inquiring why FG wants that flight diverted to Kaduna when better options abound, even preparing to take up unnecessary costs just to convince the operators to divert to that Kaduna. Only Zombies will fail to see beyond their nose. |
Enice:Resolutions generally are not binding unless specified by law. Section 5(1) (4)(a), Section 6 (1)(4), Section 16 (2), Section 84 (3), Section 105 (2) of the constitution provide such exception. State of emergency is approved by way of a resolution and such resolution is binding according to Section 305 (1) of the constitution. Disobeying legislative resolution is tantamount to declaration of war against the House and bearing in mind 2017 budget passage will be around that period, the Executive won't like to disobey any such resolution. |
banki:Sorry, no be every Nigeria be zombie. There was no shishi appropriated in the 2016 budget for the rehabilitation of Kaduna-Abuja road. So where Buhari wan get 1bn from? Don't allow these politicians deceive you. They are playing politics with that diversion. Kaduna is not safe. They should redirect all int'l flights to Lagos, and Abuja-bound domestic flights to Minna. Instead of redirecting all flights both int'l and domestic to Kaduna. |
Orikinla1:Actually they can make more than that in a month depending on how sound the keke is, but can't have more than that to themselves, talk of saving close to that. |
Lekewatt:I used bank job because it is one of most let down white collar job. If you had been a bit patient, you would have noticed I made a comparative analysis based on the long run. I was only trying to show in the long run a graduate will be better off than a keke driver. So to make up for this, keke drivers should diversify when the money starts coming. You are talking about a bank worker, am talking about 'on average'. Those are 2 different things. Average keke driver is not better than an average bank worker both in the long run and short run, but few keke drivers can be better off than an average bank worker in the SR but nearly impossible in the LR. Quote the modified write-up. |
onokings:The problem with Nigerian youth is that they so mch into the short run. In the long run, an average keke driver is never better than an average graduate. Now you are making the money, baba diversify. With time, when you start taking up responsibilities: getting married, having kids, moving to a bigger apartment to accommodate your expanding business, performing your responsibilities to ur kids, parents and in-laws, fluctuation in the price of fuel and factors, you will find out you won't even have enough money to maintain the keke. Take a survey of a middle aged family man who is a keke rider, compare him with another who is a bank worker. They are league apart. The more the years, the brighter the future for the bank worker and darker for the keke driver. In the long run, graduates are better off than keke driver. Compare the average personal income of all keke drivers with that of graduates. They aint mate. Out of that 150k how much were u able to save? I have seen a keke driver who made over 7k just one day, I was surprised, but when I stylishly check his account, he doesn't av up to #500 in the account. It is not all about how much you make, but how much you save after meeting all obligations. Don't forget no individual (not corporate bodies) pays tax and levies (extortions) more than the transporters, and keke cannot last beyond 5 years (for those plying on very good roads) and still be in good shape to return even 70k in a month, and the machine costs close to 600k. Meaning, you need to set aside 120k aside every year for depreciation. Do u have provision for that? Imagine setting aside this money every year, then with a family to take care of, a machine to maintain, fuel to buy and taxes to pay. Now you have the money, start playing ur future, cause in the long run, with ur keke, you are not better off than an Effiong working in GT Bank, Uyo. |
