But in reality, (base on prices of regular household commodities) the decline has been far more drastic. From 2015 to now, the value of money has dropped by over 1,000% (0.001%) which is actually more than the 0.1% that was state In my estimation, ₦1,000,000 in 2015 is barely worth ₦50,000 today, based on the prices of everyday household items.
Let's even leave prices of cars and luxuries lets use regular daily needs of Nigerians.

How much did Sunflower oil cost in 2015 compared to now?

Let’s look at the numbers:
Spaghetti (500g Golden Penny): In 2019, it was ₦150 (retail); today, it’s ₦1,500.
Sunflower oil: In 2019, ₦3,500; now, over ₦25,000.
Garri Egba, (in Ibadan): In 2019, ₦300 per congo; now, over ₦2,000.

And this is just 2019 if we go back to 2015 prices, you’ll see that the cost of basic food items has surged by nearly 2,000%.

Keep in mind, by 2015, the ₦18,000 minimum wage was already four years old, meaning inflation had long taken hold. So, if anything, I’m being generous to the government by using 2019 as a reference.

Same calculation I was doing last week when I came across a list I wrote in 2015.

My hair cream was N100, body cream was N250, bathing soap N70... With just N420 I could get all those items.

That hair cream is N1500 now, body cream N4000 in the market (4500 at home), soap 1k

What I could get with N420 in 2015... Today is 7k....can you imagine the difference?

Traders stock up when goods are at the cheapest ( reason) and sell out when prices rise (out of season)

Ever since I blocked about 3 APC online bandits, posts displaying crass bigotry and stupidity has reduced. I also stopped seeing posts from their numerous BOTs as well. I am now convinced that these guys were truly employed to cause chaos, fan tribalism and cheer on the destruction of this country.

Had experienced the feeling during my jss 3, intro tech example. I had solved a question only to realise I made a major mistake. I cleaned the drawing and as I wanted to start again. I heard "5 minutes more!". I was not hard or anything close.
