This is how Igbo and Yoruba girls dressed in the olden days, yet no man had any issues with it. Like I always said "Anyone who sees indecent dressing, should purge his/her corrupt mind" We were naked before modernization and society was saner |

Indecent dressing is not in our culture, same with LGBTQRSTUVWX. Enlighten me on what indecent dressing is... Before modernization were we not Naked? Even as of today, there are some locals who don't wear clothes, females only cover their genitals and same with males. If you see an "indecent dressing", purge your corrupt minds. We've been Naked for thousands of years before modernization and our society was saner. |

But that won't stop bribery and corruption In police, Lol 😂 Nigeria police being suspended because of bribe? 😂 Their Ogas at the top are aware and they submit percentage to them. They'll only be suspended on camera, go home to relax for a month and return to work on transfer. The only crime Nigeria police can truly be suspended on his murderer or caught in robbery. I'm telling as a police son who has spent half of my life in barracks. They ll suspend you on media with camera, then oga send you home to go rest for a month or 3. Months if you're not in oga sweet book. Even those that killed innocent people, some can be call back after a year or 2, if they have connections. Your case will be fought as "An accidental discharged" If they were truly being suspended you think police would still risk taking bribes knowing camera is everywhere in this era? |

Talismann: no be any AI anything. The site be like site wey dey use AI as moderator.
They just have a bunch of words blacklisted so once you post or comment, the database cross references your writeup with those words and if any is a match, bam you get banned.
Reason why the ban is almost instantaneous once you comment is because it matches your writeup with the blacklisted words at the time of submitting your post. I thought he upgraded from the old fashion of blacklist database and use modern AI agent. It's frustrating being ban for words instead of context. |

NwaAmaikpe:

We all know the group of Nigerians who would rather break a ladder after climbing up with it than see another Nigerian use the same ladder.
They go to Rome and try to teach the Pope how to break bread and serve communion.
They want to be seen by the Westerners as the defenders of civilization and the gatekeepers of immigration. No one should have a passport because they've secured theirs.
Nigerians abroad are a thriving community that build eachother brick by brick, sadly these set of Nigerians would rather use their bricks to stone those beneath them, than use it to build them.
Through the testimony of one, dependants were curtailed from travelling overseas, through the complaint of another, period of stay to gain permanent residence is now to be doubled.
They sabotage colleagues at work, serve as spies and render unsolicited negative feedbacks about their own kith and kin to managers....for no reason. It's in them.
Any and everyone who lives anywhere overseas, would confirm that it is only one set of Nigerians that behave this way. The unaccomodating landowners. You this man!.... Each time you go on break, you either come back cool headed or come back HIGH. This time you come back cool headed. |

You're tired of your wife and is just setting her up because you kjow she will blow her top, then you will use it as an excuse to leave her for another woman. That's not what the guy is doing... Either he has gotten someone for real and wants to use this as a decoy to test what consequence will look like and how everything will play out at the end... I was sentimental unti I saw the video of his reckless driving even when the police and FRSC mounted a barricades to stop him. He behave like kidnapper or arm robber who want to escape arrest in that video.
You can search for it on Facebook or any other Internet site. Just shaking my head for those blaming the police. I believe that's a tinted vehicle, police have no idea a child is inside. I've watched countless police videos in various countries. Even in advanced countries, if you break traffic and police flagged you and zoom off, you'll definitely be chased. There are countless videos out there. The man was endangering people's lives and that of his son |
Crime › Re: The Moment Police Shot 14-Year-Old Boy In Ibadan (Graphic Video) by Offpoint1: 1:33pm On May 22, 2025 |
TallNigerian: There are too many things to be deduced from this video and they all trickle down to the culture of lawlessness in Nigeria.
1. Father of deceased: That driving was too reckless. You were driving against traffic yet refused to stop and answer the traffic enforcement team. Just imagine how he was bashing into other cars and even the road culvert, destroying his own car in the process. What justification could he have had? If not for anything, he should have considered that a minor (his child for that matter) was in the car. That shows the level of lawlessness amongst Nigerian drivers.
2. Police: No need to dwell on them. We already know they should be the second worst police force in the world. Second only to probably Afghanistan. Is shooting a live bullet the way to solve a traffic infraction or stop a stupid driver?
3. Traffic Officers a.k.a Agberos in Uniform: From their uncouth language alone, you can tell that one of the major requirement in their recruitment process is the ability to use swear words and behave live a tout. No person who went through the four walls of a tertiary institution will behave like those urchins do. Last last, education no be scam.
4. Other Nigerians: Our emergency preparedness is zero, our situational awareness is zero, ability to think critically in difficult situation = zero. No sense. Maybe if we were not Nigerians, that child would have gotten to the hospital in good time and might have lived.
We all play our part towards how terrible our country and society is. Our leaders are a true reflection of who we are as individuals and as collective people.
Corollary: After watching this video, I wonder if this man's wife will forgive him. His sheer stupidity escalated the situation that eventually cost them their son's life. The man is responsible for his son death... Tinted car, broke traffic rules and was driving and wrecking other cars, endangering the lives of other road users or pedestrians. I doubt police knew there was a child in the vehicle since it's tinted. Honestly, if the wife sees this video, he won't forgive that man for killing his son |

inoki247: The Police should be sentence to death...
And the Father who's supposed to be a good role model to his son should be jailed also he failed the boy...
What happens to following the traffic laws what lesson his he teaching his son?
When the issue escalated he should have just stopped talk to them at worst he gets a fine. The father is responsible for his son's death. Ramming into police and public cars, it's a call for the use of brutal force in even foreign countries. Car is tinted, I doubt if the police knew there was a child in the vehicle. He just wasted his son for nothing |
