Ekealterego:Interesting.. In my own area of Anambra state, we have villages with IRU, URU and UMU prefixes. These villages are usually super ancient especially within the NRI clans. In Enugwu-Ukwu there is URUNNEBO, while in Enugwu-agidi there is IRUNNEBO. In Enugwu-Ukwu there is UMUOKPALAERI while in Nawfia there is IRUKPALERI. Obviously the Nawfia variation must have started with IRUOKPALAERI, but over the centuries, they've shrunk it down to IRUKPALERI In Nnobi there is UMUAGU while in neighbouring Nnewi there is URUAGU. All those prefixes are euphemisms for DESCENDANTS OF. Of course IRU still means FACE, and UMU still mean CHILDREN or even DESCENDANTS OF. |
DSS UGM, in collaboration with the police, are now trying to deny that there is no plan to declare a state of emergency in the Anambra, by using their UGM to create fake insecurity in Anambra |
Let us hope the DSS UGM does not go on a rampage on the election day. The DSS UGM terrorist, along with their Fulani jihadist terrorist federal government should let Anambrarians vote in their choice. No magomago will bring in the quisling Andy Ubah. |
The rising sun is not the Biafran flag. Chiwetalu just lectured the illiterates The rising sun appears on the Biafran flag |
Of course Chiwetalu Agu was right. The rising sun is not the flag of Biafra. However the rising sun appears on the flag of Biafra. All these educationally challenged almajiris won't know that. ![]() |
Kaiser20:What about DSS-UGM? Is it not a terrorist group also? |
Aufbauh:Army units were redeployed from Borno to Imo state a few months ago, and they boasted that they'd eliminated IPOB and ESN. Now a fresh deployment of troops and you think you can get rid of IPOB and ESN that way? Let me even tell you what will happen. They should expect more attacks from ESN and DSS's UGM. All they are doing is showing their techniques and allowing ESN to adapt to it. This whole operation will be a total failure. I will raise this issue in a few months to come, for proper analysis of this my prediction. You guys have to know that you are dealing with Igbos, and Igbos are super strong-headed, not easily intimidated, and are by far, the bravest ethnic group in Nigeria. No other ethnic group even comes a close second. In spite of the leadership flaws that I have previously pointed out, with regards to IPOB, one thing they have given us and we are eternally grateful to them, is ESN, which has helped to drastically reduce the activities of Fulani terrorists in our ancestral forests. |
Newton85:Of course. It's all in a bid to rope in IPOB, that isn't even related to UGM |
Biodun556:But it is already proven that Fulani-led DSS operatives, are the unknown gunmen killing innocent easterners. The police mistakingly killed one of those DSS undercover gunmen a few days ago. To buttress the point,. Fulani-controlled APC government, announced its wish to declare a state of emergency in relatively peaceful Anambra, even when northern states are being taken over by terrorists. Thank God for the DSS operative that was killed. It helped to reveal what's really going on |
Ijaw landgrabbers, where una dey? Food don done Ijaw ancestors that left Sagbama settled there, and their elders are now members of INC and their youths, members of IYC |
Fahdiga:kn One of his DSS unknown gunmen was killed by his police people a few days ago. God knows how to expose these people. Their state of emergency suggestion totally laid their game bare. |
Is Buhari also unaware of the Fulani APC sponsored Unknown gunmen whose intention is to introduce insecurity to the south east, especially Anambra? |
Mace0lane:While your useless father was busy kissing Tinubu's scaly charcoal black ass, we Igbos were busy warning Nigerians against the evil that Buhari will bring into Nigeria. Igbos have been proven completely right. Times has shown that Igbos read people like a book. Today, Yorubas are in exile because of the person they actively voted into power, all in an effort to spite a SS president |
LegendHero:Igbos are the only group Fulanis truly fear. MACBAN even said yesterday that they'd left SE. Before your people left your indigenous territories due to Fulani terrorist activities, hundreds of your people were butchered by them before the survivors ran away. RIP to the dead though. In Igboland, we send those terrorists to God. At least I'm happy you realise Igbos got Nigeria's gas hook line and sinker. We take our gas when we leave this hellhole. Before we leave, We may even destroy Lagos, so you can build it from scratch by selling cocoa. ![]() |
LegendHero:Are you still jealous of the SE that has more than 90% of Nigeria's gas reserves? And your region doesn't even have up to 1% of Nigeria's gas reserves. Gas will be more in demand than oil, in the next few years, so the SE is alright. Just concentrate on how to get back your refugees from Benin republic ![]() |
Mace0lane:It was thinkers like Tinubu that brought in herdsmen terrorism into the country. It was thinkers like Tinubu that brought in this level of unprecedented tribalism and nepotism in government. It was thinkers like Tinubu that ushered in the current naira value against major global currencies. It was thinkers like Tinubu that was asking about Evans, when Chief Fasoranti was mourning his daughter slaughtered by the terrorists that Tinubu brought in. And by the way, I am not a fan of Peter Obi. Prof. Muoghalu is my man. |
It was thinkers like Tinubu, that brought in Buhari. In fact Tinubu was one of them |
walefresh3:Asari is not the official authority on what the SE has and doesn't have. As God will have it, SE has more than 90% of Nigeria's gas reserves. You can choke on that. But for the meantime, the SE governors don't have to take a stance on the vat controversy |
Ttalk:Easlink is from the SS |
Igboid:IGBOID, you have to realise that stupid people will not understand the logic of your point. Sound advice will evade them perpetually. |
Igboid:A broken clock is right twice a day. While our governors are irredeemable buffoons, they are right in not making the VAT controversy and the southern presidency issue, the major talking points of their meeting. They should however be extracting concessions from the FG simultaneously. All the southern regions are really working for their own interests and the SE must not be swept away by any illusions. If the south is not specifically supporting a SE presidency, there is no point the SE supporting the southern VAT collection stance. |
TheCrusader14:Igbos knew the military still had a dominating sway. Look at what happened to Shonekan. Look at how he was so easily pushed out of the way by Abacha. Igbos are more intelligent than you guys realise. The northern military officers would have toppled him, if they had felt he was acting against the northern interest Then vote for Ogbonnaya Onu, even though we Igbos don't want him. I personally prefer Prof. Muoghalu. A large chunk of Igbos prefer Peter Obi |
Igboid:This is what is known as pragmatic politics. Something Zik had a total lack of. SE is where it is, because our previous leaders lacked pragmatism. They were always after the good of all, and totally ignoring the good of Igbos. It is also one of the areas Nnamdi Kanu falls short on. Always thinking about the good of the east, when eastern minorities are busy thinking about their own parochial good, to the detriment of the Igbo good. If the federal government and the courts will adjust these artificial Rivers state boundaries in ways that will favour Imo and Abia, I believe it makes excellence sense for Igbos to pay back the federal government, by backing her stance on the VAT controversy. It is a price worth paying. You and Eastlink have sound points |
TheCrusader14:Ogbonnaya Onu who was the APP presidential candidate, stepped down for Olu Falae, who was from the junior party in the alliance. Ogbonnaya Onu is an Igbo man, so he did not undermine Yorubas. As it happens, Ogbonnaya Onu is still in APC, so Yorubas in APC should support him, after all, he supported the Yoruba candidate in 1999. The SE voted for Obasanjo in the 1999 presidential election. Obasanjo is a Yoruba man and the SE is occupied by Igbos, so clearly, the Igbos supported the Yorubas in 1999 It will now make sense for the Yorubas to support the Igbos in both leading parties. |
noleflendum:You're Obviously sending this message from your bedbugs infested mat in a Benin Republic refugee camp. Yoruba generals that were kneeling and crying before a Fulani major, comes to mind |
LegendHero:SW doesn't have to behave like animals in the SW and send Fulani terrorist to God. Yorubas rather prefer living like animals in Benin Republic refugee camps, after being chased away from their ancestral lands by terrorists. I know which one I prefer. The BRACED meeting has happened, and it was chaired by an Igboman wearing the Igbo titled man's red cap ![]() I have also noticed that of late, Wike has been wearing the typical Igbo red cap. A little too late for him though. Now just to tell you something that will hurt you badly. Igbos have the largest gas reserves in Nigeria. More than 90% of Nigeria's gas reserves lie in the SE. If you add Igbo territories in the SS, then we are talking about 95% of Nigeria's gas reserves. Meanwhile our daughter has added the needed bravery in a sea of world renowned SW cowardice, by fortifying Akeredolu. Treat her well to banish cases of Yoruba generals kneeling, crying and begging Fulani majors to save their skins |
LegendHero:The SE governors are not doing much because they have abandoned the psychological leadership to IPOB. IPOB has gone much further than all the southern governors. IPOB's security outfit kills cows and Fulani terrorists, something no SW governor has the balls to do, and will never have the balls to do. I am proud of the Igbo governor in the SS, Dr. Okowa. A typical Igbo man with balls of steel. The Igbo first lady of Ondo also seems to have fortified her husband. All the badass moves being made in the South have Igbo links. I wonder why. Even wike that denies being Igbo, speaks an IGBOID language. IGBO AMAKA |
LegendHero:Azikiwe was never the executive president. Name the ministers Azikiwe appointed, or the budgets he or his people prepared. Using your logic, you shouldn't also count Gowon as the president after all, they were referred to as the Head of State and not the president. It was Babangida that was the first military coupist to start referring to himself as the president. But let me even humour you by following your line of argument. Azikiwe was a ceremonial president in the 60s for just 6 years Gowon was the head of state for 9 years. Tafawa Balewa was the prime minister, and in charge of appointing ministers and with all the executive powers of a modern president, when zik was the ceremonial president. One had the executive powers while the other was just ceremonial. So even if you count Zik, justice will still demand that an Igboman assumes the executive presidency of Nigeria. Yorubas have done 13 years of presidency, when you count all of Obasanjo's and Shonekan's stints. The north central has done 9 years with Gowon The north east has done 5 years through Abacha The SS has done 5 years through GEJ. So it will be absurd for any other region to take it while Igbos have only enjoyed 6 months of executive power through Ironsi |
Since 1999, the SW held the presidency for 8 years and will hold the vice presidency for 8 years by 2023 Fulanis held the vp slot for 8 years and will hold the presidency for 11 years by 2023. The SS has held the presidency for 5 years and the vice presidency for 3 years. The SE and the NC have not tasted any of those positions, however when you track back, Gowon held the position for many years and he comes from the NC, so for justice to reign, the SE must be considered for the presidency role. |
My own is, has Twitter restored Buhari's hate speech against the Igbos? |
I understand 70% of what she is saying. An Edo person will understand 0% of what she is saying |
