I sincerely wish the ediot below me would for once accept Historical Truth, and focus on becoming better than his father, instead of still shamelessly trying to twist History to change Narrative as they usually do. He has never said this kind of stupidly concocted big Lie on this Forum before. What evious sad Souls like you don't know is that a Lie is forver a Lie, and even if you succeeded in deceiving some gullible People with it for a while, Truth would eventually Surface and Disgrace a Lie. Every wise Child acknowledges the mistake of his father and Focus all efforts on not repeating them. History don't Lie, the Historical Books are there for us all Younger Generation to verify.

The Genesis is it all: Before Britain gave us independence, Nigeria was majorly: Northern Region headed by Sadauna, Eastern Region headed by Aziikwe, Western Region headed by The Great Masses-loving Obafemi Awolowo. By 1960 Awolows's Fame has greatly Spread all over Africa, Great Britain and to all the Western World as the first African to do things that only white People thought they should have on their Lands. Azikwe's envy for the famous great Glory that came upon Awolowo as a result of his Achievements and Developments which he Speedily brought upon Yoruba Land as the best genuine Masses-loving Regional Prime Minister (while Azikwe was busy greedily stealing and massively aquiring most juicy Igbo Lands for himself using his Power as the head of the Region) made him to incurably Envy Awolowo till Death. While the greedy Soul called Azikwe was focused on robbing his own Igbo People blind, Awolowo started First ever Absolutely Free Education in Africa (in Yoruba Land), First Radio Station ever in West Africa (in Yoruba Land), first ever Television Station in West Africa (in Yoruba Land), first ever Skyscraper in Africa (Cocoa House still Standing Tall in Ibadan), Textile Company, Ouwa Glass Company where Vehicle Windscreen, home glasswares, etc are being Produced, First ever Tyre Manufacturing Company in West Africa, etc. All this made Kwame Nkruma of Ghana to trace Awolowo to Nigeria and made him his best Friend. He went back to Ghana and started doing every infrastructural Developments that him and Awolowo opened his eyes to.

Till today, Nkwame Nkruma is the best President that Ghana ever had, and Awolowo is the Best Vice President and President Nigeria never had cry. The Hydro Power and all the basic Amenities he did then are still what they are still using till date. When Azikwe had ganged up with the North to frustrate Awolowo from later becoming President, he passed on his Vision for Atomic Energy Electricity Generation to his Kwame his friend in Ghana. Kwame started it and then the Colonial Masters say African should never be greater than them, they soon use another Ghana's "Azikwe incanate" to kill Kwame Nkwuruma.

Azikwe greened with Cancerous Envy for the great African Sage ever liveth, our beloved Obafemi Awolowo. Even when Awolowo humbly went to submit to him with an Oath that they Took which bind them that they should both join forces to become the First Political Leaders of Nigeria, Awolowo submitted that he would be the Vice to Azikwe so that they can both make Nigeria Great, the satanic sad Soul was just feeling too less-intelligent, timid and insecure and less anlld evious that he went to the Northerner next day to betray.
Lagos, was nowhere near the east in distance, but the east kicked some real ass.

To top everything you have said, the eastern regions was the fastest growing economy IN THE WORLD.

When Igbos do things, we don't do African standard, like Awolowo. The east topped the whole world in terms of economic growth.
So everything you have written is mere tittle-tattle compared to what the eastern region achieved.

Your double-crossing, rat poison-drinking father could never match up to the great Zik who was a colossus in Africa.
Thank God Azikiwe discovered Awo's attempt at double-crossing. The south would have been in a sorrier state right now

Like Azikwe like Kalu. Repeating same 1959 script. Down the line in few years to come will be screaming for help.
Pa Mbazuluike Amaechi has already told everyone that wishes to know, that Zik decided to join the north in an alliance, because they noticed Awolowo was playing both sides.
Awolowo was secretly negotiating with NCNC and NPC, unbeknown to both parties. Once this betrayal was discovered by both the Azikiwe and Ahmadu Bello, Zik decided to forge ahead with the north.

The same cunning attitude of the Yorubas is repeating itself in the dispensation. Tinubu running for presidency when he could have easily supported the SE claim, and the north wouldn't have been able to muster courage to upturn that, as the 3 southern regions would have been speaking in unison.

Chekwas should first go and turn Abia to an APGA state before anything else, otherwise he will be clutching at straws.

It is far easier to claim you are the leader of a party during a squabble when your own state is a part of the party.

Anambra people, including Victor Umeh and Ozonkpu Oye ensured APGA is ruling their state. That is why it will be practically impossible to do any magomago.

Soludo is far more likely to stick with the structure that put him in power. Supreme court does not determine Anambra governorship, especially against APGA. He can go to Imo state for such judicial stunts.

Wisdom and foresight are expensive gifts that Nigerian politicians seem to lack. And it has always cost the nation dearly.
As it stands today, Nigeria is at a critical point in its existence that is worse than the pre-war 60s.

First, why are Northerners fighting for power after Buhari? Why?

Second, why did Northern elders intervene for Atiku during the PDP presidential primaries? Why? Is it the North's turn?

Third, why can't the North insist that power must go to the SE, and defend it.

You see, the North would lose a lot after the wind of Karma blows. We humans shouldn't play God, we are mere mortals. And God's will would eventually be done in Nigeria.

By fighting for power in 2023, northern politicians have killed zoning, and that is very dangerous to the core North. The middle belt are swing states, remember.

The failure of the North and their greed for power would be their greatest regret. Good luck to their politicians fighting for power after Buhari. They started it, and wouldn't be able to complain in future. Atiku's victory has set a bad precedent when it's the turn of the South.

If power doesn't go to the SE in 2023, then sorry for Nigeria.

Pls save this thread for the long future. Nigeria is pregnant.

You're absolutely right. The points you raised are all captured in the submission I made on that thread.
I even went one step further to opine that Igbos are the numerical first in Nigeria's ethnic groups, but that's a discussion for another day and time.
That was why they used millions of under-aged voters in the 2015 general elections, and yet, they only knocked GEJ out by just about 2 million votes.
This was principally because 3 major ethnic groups ganged up against GEJ i.e Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani.

Igbo was the only major ethnic group in the GEJ column, yet in spite of the under-aged voting that Buhari used, they still didn't travel that far numerically.

It basically means Igbos have a huge population. I daresay Igbos outnumber the other ethnic groups of Nigeria individually

I finally put to bed, I believe two days ago on another thread, the false narrative that Igbos have the lowest voter turnout among the major ethnicities.

Using INEC datasets, I clearly demonstrated that there are more votes in the southeast than southwest. They only segregatedly used 2019 election figures to push their false narratives but refuse to tell the gullible people who swallow their falsehood that there was active voter apathy in the southeast in the 2019 election year as a result of Yoruba treachery in the 2015 elections.

It is not for no reason that Tinubu has been begging Orji Kalu for his recognition. They know these things. They have data analysts on their payroll.

Yoruba has been playing mind games. We knew this all along. But that they are now beginning to believe their own lies is a little worrying, but good for the rest of us.
Even in clear non-Igbo states, Igbos have an impactful voting potential. In Lagos, the Igbo votes cannot be trifled with. The only immigrant community, more than the Igbos in Lagos, are just the Yorubas. Along with the Yorubas, Igbos also outnumber the real indigenes of Lagos.

In Abuja, Igbo votes can be critical also.

In Rivers state, both the indigenous Igbos of Rivers and the migrant Igbos have a heavy voting impact. e.t.c.

Yorubas have been toying with the wrong dogs, and will hopefully learn a bitter lesson in the next few months, when they realise that a Yoruba man didn't eventually replace Buhari, as they planned.

These people are pathetic. I'm yet to see what a Yoruba man has over an Igbo that makes him think he can successfully manipulate him.
Igbo have had Senate presidency. Orji will become the VP if Lawan gets the nod, yet you want to give him and his people Senate president.

A position Nnamdi Azikiwe attained in 1960, Dennis Osadebay 1960-1963, Nwafor Orizu 1963 -1966, Evan Enwerem 1999, Chuba Okadigbo 1999–2000, Anyim Pius Anyim 2000-2003, Adolphus Wabara 2003-2005, Ken Nnamani 2005–2007.

You are offering Igbos a position they have successfully occupied serially, and in doing so, validating Yoruba boasting that Igbo cannot preside in Nigeria. Are Igbos going forward or backward?. Is anyone still in doubt regarding the evil intentions of some Yorubas towards their southeastern neighbors?.

Very insolent and unreasonable people. And you're attempting to usurp Igbo man's turn at the helm while insulting him. Una never see anything. Treachery is no man's exclusive right. Two can play that game.

Tinubu is well advised to speak with Peter Obi. Fulani will throw him under the bus in a few.
It's PeterObi2023 or North continues.

Simple!
That's their stock in trade. They use the psychological fear that Fulanis have for Igbos. They use the Igbo numbers to subliminally scare the Fulanis and gain power. But they then turn around to start spewing their crazy theories that Igbos are 5%ers with no political influence.

That's exactly why I keep writing that Tinubu should now go and grab that power alone without the Igbos. Let us see.

I think people like OUK, are aware of this, and are now completely out for this game that Yorubas have been asking for.

I even want a NEner to become the president to completely nullify the Tinubu supporter's threat of Nigeria breaking up if a northerner emerges as the president. They will totally be demystified. Ka anulu fa ife.

We Yorubas supported Buhari openly, gave him the support boldly so I expect Ibos to also be bold about supporting Atiku.

No sensible Yoruba is waiting for Ibo vote, we have always voted differently, so we understand.
Not so fast. We will wait for the results of the APC primaries before weighing our options.

If Lawan emerges for APC, we will look at both Atiku, Lawan and possibly Obi, and then identify the candidate that we will support based on our self-interest.
We may also decided to split our votes three ways. You know, whatever it takes to keep us in the game, and ensuring that Tinubu does not emerge

Igbos may encourage Obi to form an alliance with Atiku. Igbos may advice Lawan to cement an alliance with OUK, so that Igbo interest is not looked down on, as is the case at the moment.

This hardnosed Igbo political move seems to be a source of bitterness to you.

But you guys spent the past 7 years hailing Tinubu for being a genius and nominating Osibanjo to be Buhari's vice.

Now that Igbos are planning the same, you are now advising Igbos of the uselessness of the VP position.

Btw did we even tell you the VP position is the ultimate goal?
Have your monkey-lookalike brothers mined your skull that you no longer know that one of our main goals is to ensure that Tinubu does not benefit from his 2015 treachery?
As important as the reason above, is the fact that if a NE president emerges in 2023, the lesson will be well learnt in the south, that the Igbos are Machiavellian enough to ensure power remains in the north, if the south cannot concede the presidency to the SE. Let the whole south become slaves. Maybe that will teach everyone a lesson.

Tinubu and Yorubas probably thought Igbos were bluffing. The new reality is that the north will keep the presidency for the time being, until the SE feels otherwise. Let us see Tinubu's power. Let us see him clinch the presidency. A part of me even wants Tinubu to emerge the APC flagbearer so that he will expend a good chunk of his resources in unsuccessfully attempting to clinch the presidency.

There must be a SE president of Nigeria, before a SW president is ever considered again. The SW will taste political wilderness with the Igbos. All of us will be down there in the dungeons.
