SarkinYarki:Abacha was from Borno state, but was born and brought up in Kano state. The NE has had 5 years of presidency. However, since 1999 they haven't produced any president |
Alphagan:You are yet again, wrong here. Deji Adeyanju who is clearly not an Igbo guy but a proper Yoruba man seems to also have heaped the blame on two Yoruba sons. What do you say about that? And also I should advise you and your fellow Yorubas to stop crying foul at the current Igbo stance. Igbos are comfortable with a northwesterner emerging as the president, after all they have not produced the president since 1999, while Yorubas have, for 8 solid years. Igbos have chosen to administer justice, and you all should be comfortable with that. No one can talk of southern presidency, if the same south doesn't want to recognize the importance of a SEner emerging. SEners have the moral high ground on this, and that is why the northerners are emboldened to pursue the presidency, after all, Yorubas can't be crying more than the bereaved (Igbos). Northerners are watching and borrowing a leaf from Yorubas. The same Yorubas that want to usurp an opportunity that should have been given to the Igbos, their fellow so-called southern brothers. Presently, the northerners are developing immunity from the usual SW threats. Their d!cks are being hardened by the current Igbo stance. Within the next few months, they will be fully immune from Yoruba threats. Of course, they need Igbo psychological support to fully be immune from the paper-weigth Yoruba psychological threats. |
Alphagan:Who were those that voted for OBJ in the 1999 primaries? Wasn't OUK one of his major financiers that fought for him then. And for your information, when Buhari talked about 5%ers, he was referring to both the SS and SE. If the south can bypass the SE in this presidential game, then the whole south can be bypassed in the same game. The south was there up until 2015, while Igbos have not been there for more than 50 years. If you don't see anything wrong with this picture, then you are a real hopeless case. |
Alphagan:How many delegates did the SW posses to in the PDP national convention, that brought in OBJ in 1999 ? Wasn't it another southern zone that wickedly took away the opportunity for the SE to be represented in the top 6 positions on the nation in this current dispensation? Fvck southern unity and Shut up there. Igbos have no portion in Tinubu's government, so we cannot fight for it. Let the Yorubas go and fight for it. They have been boasting how influential they are and how SE and SS are 5% |
okeysoninv:Any southerner that took up the VP position in Buhari's government is also a slave |
KingKO22:Two Igbo states are being governed by APC, and you still write that Igbos put all their eggs in one basket. APC controls more Igbo states than APGA. Can you imagine. Yet Yorubas keep lying and claiming Igbos are not in APC to justify your wickedness in not supporting a fellow southern zone, exactly the same way you betrayed GEJ. What about OBJ that was foisted on PDP. Were Yorubas well represented in PDP when he was nominated? Your evil and wickedness will be paid back. Everything will be wrecked. Let us see how Tinubu will become the president |
Biodun556:Didn't you guys vote out the southerner in PDP in 2015? So who is daft? |
HomoSapiien:Yorubas queued behind northerners since 2015. Igbos don't mind queueing behind their own northerner in 2023. Tinubu is going nowhere. Let us see him win without southern support |
Philipponzaghi:Lawan will beat Tinubu hands down, in both the SS and SE. Tinubu has no chance at all |
ogbuefi677:They can convert the bullions vans into makeshift ambulances for the peepoos president |
To campaign for GEJ, just say, GEJ is better than Tinubu!!! That should do the trick |
Captain8:The same Wike that has been visiting Igboland upandan in this electioneering season. He even boasted that he's the best placed to defend Igbo interest. Forget politics, when the chips are down amalu onye bu onye Dakuku Peterside is also from Opobo, and the ruling family of Opobo, are Igbos genetically. They are our blood. Don't let us bring up the boat regatta tingz now. |
DitariDisciple2:How come this Ibim Ibiwari or Tamuno Kpokpo have not spoken in favour of Fubara yet, as an Ijaw man? Of course, I know that now that we have been raising this issue, your land touts will tell them to release a support press statement sharp-sharp to give the impression this famed Opobo IYC are in support of Fubara. |
Captain8:Well, I can't argue with the bolded But I am happy a few of you are looking forward to the emergence of Fubara as the governor of Rivers state. Igboids of Rivers state will help in achieving that |
RobbStark:Kalabaris are not happy that Fubara is not an Ijaw man. Now the Igboids will now decide who they want to make the governor in the general election, with the incumbent supporting Fubara ![]() |
RobbStark:Dakuku Peterside must be happy that one of his brothers is in the tace. Nice to know that an Igbo man is still in this race. I am also happy to note that IYC in Opobo has not written in support of Fubara, perhaps because they don't consider him Ijaw I am even happier that IYC Kalabari are not happy with the emergence of Fubara, as they don't believe he is Ijaw. ![]() |
BKayy:This clearly explains why there are telltale signs of Ijaw slavery in the Caribbean |
RobbStark:Of course, IYC will never say Opobo is Igbo. Only that they won't mind denying Opobo people such chances because they are not Ijaw. Dakuku Peterside also has a non-Igbo name but clearly recognizes and embraces his Igbo ancestry. He is even mad the Igbos of the SE are not constantly relating with them as their blood brothers. He is from Opobo also |
Captain8:Nnaa,how dumb can you be? He just made the point that Adaka Boro's map of Niger Delta Republic almost mirrors the current Bayelsa state, which basically means that Bayelsa state encompasses the length and breadth of Ijawland. Bkayy, please if possible, post Adaka Boro's map of Ijaw land. It will help in showing that the current expansionist attempts of modern day Ijaw expansionists, is just a recent trend. |
Captain8:But Opobo people have never been governors of the current Rivers state or the old Rivers state. So I don't see why IYC in Kalabari is insisting on Ijaws getting the slot, in spite of the fact that an Opobo-"IJAW" man was chosen. Or are you worried because, like Dakuku Peterside, he has an Ijoid name, but solely identifies with his Igbo ancestry? Please, we Igbos only want to be reading congratulatory messages from Ijaw organisations that an Opobo "Ijaw" man is now the PDP governorship candidate. Most of the Igbo and Igboid delegates voted for him, so Ijaws cannot say we didn't support their governorship race in Rivers state |
basilo101:A lot of non-Igbo names in Opobo are also Igbo. Dakuku Peterside is one of them |
Captain8:So an organisation that is meant to represent the whole Ijaw ethnic group now has differing opinions depending on where the chapter is. So how come IYC in Opobo has not countered IYC in Kalabari? How come the umbrella body has not suspended the leadershing of the IYC in Kalabari? Please I hope Dakuku Peterside is a member of IYC in Opobo. |
DitariDisciple2:So is Kalabari the same thing as Opobo? They are two different places. You can make a claim on Kalabari, but not on Opobo. In any case, why is IYC worried about a non-Kalabari governor? |
DitariDisciple2:Igbos are not really claiming these places. It is Ijaw organisations that have alluding to the fact that an Opobo governorship candidate is not Ijaw, but that rather a governorship candidate should be raised from the Kalabari country. |
Idiko1:Ancient records written by neutral Europeans already established that Opobo, was the name of a former Igbo king of Bonny. So Jaja named his kingdom, after his fellow Igbo man |
ScamHunter:And after the Igbo group (like Obigbo or Egbema) has done its 8 years, it will go back to either a Grand Bonny-Ijaw or Opobo-Ijaw back again. By the way, where is Dakuku Peterside, the silly Ijaw man that claims he is Igbo? He must be given the governorship at some point so he will appreciate his Ijaw heritage much more. That will teach him a lesson |
DitariDisciple2:I think you may have to lecture the IYC and INC who now seem to think Ibanis are not Ijaws, and shouldn't hold the governorship. I wont be surprised if the new PDP governorship candidate speaks Igbo perfectly, as his first language. |
Why is IYC not fighting for the emergence of a governor from other "IJAW" groups? For many months now, Bayelsa Ijaws have been bleating like sheep that IBANIs are Ijaws. Why is IYC now only concentrating on championing the emergence of just a Kalabari governor? Are Opobo people no longer Ijaws? I was expecting a joyful press statement where IYC will be singing the praises of Wike for ensuring an Ijaw emerged as the PDP candidate. Please Ijaw miscreants on this forum. Help us understand what's happening. Igboid delegates in the Rivers primaries voted for an Ibani man and your organisations are still complaining. Is Opobo no longer in the coastal area? Or are Opobo people no longer Ijaws? Mind you, once Opobo people are done with the governorship, it reverts back to the Igboid section |
Ijaws have been asking for a coastal governor. It doesn't come much more coastal than Opobo. Ijaws should also be happy that he has an Ijoid name |
Eastlink:The guy that came second, seems to have an Igboid name |
