Ebubu3:The actions of the current governor David Umar, suggests they don't wanna be Igbo. No one is begging them to be Igbo. I am an Anambra man, and proud of my Igboness. |
Bomboiy:Na Abakaliki man. What do you expect? His Excellency David Umar, Ekpa, Chinedu Ogbah e.t.c. They obviously have no idea it is the sort of behaviour that makes them stick out unnecessarily like a sore thumb. Everyone knows Tinubu was responsible for that attack on Igbos collecting their PVCs |
lereinter:No we'd rather be in Nigeria to govern you. ![]() On a serious note, there is no way on earth, that the youths of Nigeria will agree to Peter Obi being the running mate of Kwankwaso. Not when a Fulani president from Kwankwaso's geopolitical zone is currently ruling the nation. |
We need to know the budget he was working with. Once the budgets of both Lagos and Anambra are determined, it becomes easier to scale both states using the ratio determined by the budgets. Peter Obi will beat Tinubu silly and he knows that. That's why he was buying votes, and paying each governor two million dollars each. Can you imagine? Guess where Tinubu intends to recoup the huge expenses of the APC primaries from? From federal government coffers. That's why such people must not be allowed anywhere near Aso rock. Corrupt lot |
liasmiram2567:You don't even want to go down that route, as you will loose woefully. The reason being that there are a number of major muslim candidates, but there is only one christian candidate. If you start playing the religion card, that will immediately split the muslim votes, and hand over an easy victory to Peter Obi. I advice you to shun that angle, let us argue about the competences of the individual candidates. That is a better way that will lead to inclusiveness. But if you want to play that dirty game, I am sure no one will run away from your threats |
Moferere:Two months ago, Kwankwaso was bigger. But at the moment, I believe Obi is bigger, with a greater chance of getting the much needed international support. The massive registrations going on now is empowering Obi day by day. A moving train. Kwankwaso will have to go for the VP position, because no SEner has been the president of Nigeria for more than 55 years. I don't see Obi going for the VP slot. The youths of Nigeria, whose hopes rest on Obi's emergence, will lynch him |
PresidObi:I doubt the person has the intelligence to understand what you wrote here. Nevertheless it is nice you still attempted to educate the person |
Peter Obi is not perfect. But he is head and shoulders above all the other presidential candidates. Watch this twitter vid, and hear what Taraba governor had to say about Peter Obi https://twitter.com/Chude__/status/1524392284422381568?t=OV1q9Itl7wv5U8ADvR9i9A&s=19 GO AND BLOODY VERIFY!!!!

plaindealer:You have not been able to trash anything. Access the link below to get more on Peter Obi. Please read and weep. Hear what the governor of Taraba state is saying about Peter Obi and the new international airport in Anambra https://twitter.com/Chude__/status/1524392284422381568?t=OV1q9Itl7wv5U8ADvR9i9A&s=19

Patrioticbreed9:There is nothing wrong with using the word @minority@. In the context I am coming from, I am simply alluding to the fact that the ethnic group may not have as many people as the Igbo or Yoruba or Hausa. My point is that some moniker cannot claim to be speaking for all the SS people. Even me that is an Igbo person, when push comes to shove, I don't have the mandate to speak for all the Igbo people, who happen to be the same ethnic group as me, talk-less of someone that claims to be from the SS, and is obviously been put up by Tinubu and co, to destroy the little bit of understanding that exists between the SE and SS |
jerseyboy:You can remove your own minority ethnic group of you wish. There are other groups that will beg to differ |
LegendHero:Of course government is a continuum in Anambra which was why Obi dealt with a lot of arrears owed by Tinubu's friend and role model in governance. God also bless PO for saving the money Obiano used to build an international airport in Anambra. Anyway I think you guys should advice Tinubu not to raid workers salaries in his bid to pay back the monies he used to bribe delegates. But I suppose this my advice is unnecessary as Tinubu is unlikely to be the ptesident |
IamWonderful:It is a Christian issue. Obi is a Christian, and proud of that fact, but he will be picking a northern Muslim running mate to encourage inclusiveness. Any Muslim that wishes to stick with just a Muslim candidate has a choice of Atiku, Kwakwanso and Tinubu. Of course I want every Muslim to ignore those primitive instincts and vote Peter Obi, who though is a Christian, will definitely run an inclusive government |
LegendHero:You are grabbing at straws yet again. PO assumed office in 17th March 2006, but the workers in this newspaper clip were complaining of 36 months arrears, which means the bulk of this mess occured during the term of Ngige, who is a major man in Tinubu's APC. Secondly, I remember that when PO came in, he started dealing with all manners of arrears incurred by Ngige's government, who is a star man in Tinubu's APC party, so if one falls through the cracks, then it can be forgiven, because Obi was practically using up his budget to deal with issues and burden placed on the state by Ngige who pissed away his allocation that should have been used to take care of these arrears. Once again, Ngige is Tinubu's nigga. Birds of the same feathers flock together |
LegendHero:It is obvious you have no point. Permit me to burst your bubble. In your first ranting about Anambra not doing well in the poverty statistics, 2008 was still at the early stages of PO's governance. Because eventually during his reign, Anambra, under PO became th state with the best improved poverty statistics. In your second ranting about PO owing salaries, PO left office on the 17th of March 2014. What that meant was that he left office before the March salaries were due. Even in the private sector, they don't pay their salaries by the 17th, let alone in the public sector. So while one can technically claim that Peter Obi owed salaries, one should also have the sense to see that he left before salaries were due So as you can see, your points are really nonexistent. |
Okoroawusa:Peter Obi also owns a house in London. That doesn't mean he lives in London. He got his London home before he became a governor. Peter Obi lives in Onitsha |
The same man that brought the cabal into power. The same man that the cabal fought for in defence of the just concluded APC primaries. Of course northern governors are part of the cabal. They are chums with Tinubu. PO is the only person that can get rid of this famed cabal. He does not belong to any. |
Okoroawusa:Peter Obi lives in Anambea state, so there should be no surprises if the church he attends is full of Igbos. When he travels out of the state, he can do all that mingling. |
Anambra had the best road network in the country, when Peter Obi was around. This was principally due to the efforts of Ngige and especially Obi. That is a major landmark project for you right there |
alsudan:Peter Obi can go for the Christian northerners. That will definitely help inch the presidency closer. He obviously has an advantage over Tinubu and Atiku with regards to the northern votes |
Spherical17:So you are obviously referring to a 2 horse race between Obi and Atiku |
Randerl:The Incoming Christian-Muslim presidency |
Spherical17:I totally agree with you. I expect him to come either first or second |
Jollof15:Which of PO's policy directions is viewed as a southeastern perspective?? Hunger hits everyone the same way. Not just SEners. Tinubu has already paid millions of dollars to get the APC presidential flag. He will need to recoup this money and we all know his plans are to get the presidency and then empty the treasury to the detriment of the nation. In Tinubu's mind, he has already paid for the presidency. So no one should expect anything from him again. This message will eventually start resonating. That is why PO is growing popular by the day. Tinubu will also still have to take responsibility for his part, either directly or indirectly, in the Lekki tollgate massacre. The millions of youths who are now registering have a serous axe to grind with him. Millions of Christian southerners are registering, and even more machines have been sent to the SE to aid in cutting down the queues. What this also means is that the southern vote will be equally massive. Tinubu does not have the resources to bribe millions of voters, as he could easily do with a few delegates. Peter Obi has a very serious chance, especially if this current upsurge in PVC registration is maintained. At the moment, there is no sign it will abate in the near future. |
HeroicMeastro:I'm not saying that PO will win the coming election. But he will be a major issue. The next few weeks and months will hopefully be utilised by the Labour party to put together a structure or a formidable process that will help PO remain extremely relevant in this season. If the LP plays its cards right, the party may just muscle its way to the presidency, come 2023. |
The funny thing is that Peter Obi is a catholic, so I suppose he has both the Catholic and Christian votes in the bag. He is likely to choose a northern muslim, hopefully a very popular one. This will help to bring in a few much needed northern votes from educated northerners that understand that this is the time for us to change the trajectory of Nigerian politics |
Penguin2:He will have to be Obi's vice. A northerner is the current president, so it will be totally unacceptable for Obi to go for the vice position. Especially now that Peter Obi seems to have grown in reputation and popularity over the past 3 weeks |
Parachoko:FIXED |
ITbomb:I think she is from Akwa Ibom state |
Front0lane:I'm not even a major fan of Peter Obi, as I prefer someone like Soludo. But Peter Obi is miles ahead of Fashola in terms of achievement as a governor. Fashola boasted that a serious government will solve the power situation in the country. He has been there for over 7years and yet, things are even worse now than it was, before he came in. That immediately shows you the level of Fashola's competence. Peter Obi was a part of the team that ensured Nigeria became the biggest economy in Africa. PO was the DG of Securities and Exchange Commission around that time, so he was a part of the economic team that beat the whole of Africa economically. When it comes to corruption, PO is possibly the least corrupt governor that has governed any state in Nigeria since 1999. The only other person that can possibly compete with him will be Soludo, but he has only done just a few months, so I am a little hesitant comparing the two of them at this early stage. |
. |
DeleTaller:That's what u guys told us about Fashola. That he will sort out the electricity situation in the country within 6 months because he was the best governor of the same Lagos state. Seven years inside his ministerial job, I'm even sending this message in darkness. Here you are, hyping up the same man that forced Buhari down our throats. Tilumbu and his urchins have used up their chances |
