Shiver99:Delicacies like ngwo-ngwo/isi ewu, Nkwobi, abacha, ji mmanu, ji agwolu agwo etc |
thorpido:. Erik and Ibibio do not have more varieties, but they have some amazing delicacies like Edikangkong, |
Michelle70:Banga soup is actually Igbo. We call it ofe akwu traditionally. Traditional names help to confirm the origins of cuisines. Maybe Niger Delta people also have their own variety of ofe akwu. But it must have a full local name to enhance the claim |
rippa:, Wike will not be fielded. He has no claim to it. He has already declared he is not Igbo, so under what bases will he seek nomination and win it? Wike only has the SS card to play, but that will not be strong enough, owing to the fact that GEJ was the president, just a few years ago |
Michelle70:Fixed |
So TInubu has started consulting with Ajana in Igboland, all because he wants to win the hearts and minds of the Igbo people. He will have to do a lot more than this though. |
To start with, GEJ was there for just 5 years. And Yaradua was the president for 3 years. He refused to resign when his illness got serious. His handlers kept controlling the masquerade from behind the scenes. When GEJ was the acting president, Yaradua was still the substantiive president, so you can't assign Yaradua's tenure to GEJ. Since 1999 the south has held the executive power for 13 years, while by 2023 the north will hold it for 11 years. Unfortunately for the north, Nigeria did not come into existence in 1999. Nigeria became independent in 1960, and the north has held the executive power for the vast majority of the period till present date. In fact, the SS still needs 3 years to catch up with the Yorubas in the present dispensation, so the SS has a strong argument to make to be recognized as the second most disadvantaged region in the south vis-a-vis the presidency. |
SATANICALLY:DSS' Ngozi Kenneth at it again. DSS now has their own version of Igbo girls and UGM DSS has also produced cannibals, all in a bid to blackmail the SE. It ain't gonna work |
IGBOSON1:To really determine who should be listed, the simple question to answer is this. Which of them, employed the national ministers |
DubaiLandLord:That explains why he is in Buhari's APC. A party for and of terrorists and illiterates. |
Musrataman:Guilty conscience don dey worry this one. I see you are trying desperately to hide the northern and SW conspiracy to undermine a SS president. |
mrvitalis:I'm not arguing with the meaning of the word AMADABO. I'm just saying that he is sending confusing signals by using PALACE to denote his official residence |
mrvitalis:so how come they refer to his residence as PALACE. Only kings and queens live in palaces |
DubaiLandLord:Very possible. |
This may sound silly to idiots. But people like Dele Momodu and Akeredolu are the sort of SWners that SE and SS people are more likely to vote for, if not for the current push to elect a president of Igbo extraction. |
oyatz:Tinubu did his homework in the Edo state gubernatorial election, but his candidate still lost. What does that tell you? The electorates are still massively important in any elective process. Of course, everyone knows that other entities have their own relevance also |
seunmsg:you guys and your lies. More Igbos fought to ensure Jonathan was declared the president. No Yoruba person, dead or alive, fought as hard as Dr. Akunyili or Ojo Maduekwe who were even serving ministers. Mention one Yoruba minister during the Yaradua era who fought as hard as the Igbo duo, to ensure GEJ was enthroned. Also in 2011, Yorubas did not vote for GEJ massively. Up until a few weeks before that election, Yorubas were campaigning for another Fulani man, the former EFCC boss. It was when Tinubu saw the handwriting on the wall that he started talking about supporting GEJ. Lagos was won by PDP because of the population of Igbos and other southerners in Lagos. A Yoruba state even voted for Nuhu Ribadu. Now in 2015 Yorubas showed their true colours, joined the Fulanis in rubbishing their fellow southerner. It was Yorubas that started labelling GEJ a buffoon and incompetent. The records are there. It was Yorubas that threatened Igbo with drowning in the lagoon, all because Igbos at that time, supported GEJ's PDP. Today, the mastermind of that anti-GEJ move, now wants to be elected the president of Nigeria. We will wait and see what the response from the SS and SE will be |
DubaiLandLord:Don't get me wrong, Yemi Osibanjo will hopefully be an improvement on Buhari, but the fact that he is the vice president in this most disastrous of administrations, calls his judgement into question. I also know he has a legal background, which is nothing compared to Muoghalu's real world background in conflict resolution, peace-making and economic and financial wizardry needed to effectively lead a nation. Muoghalu is also not tainted with working for this most nepotistic and corrupt government. Muoghalu is much more likely to call a spade a spade, unlike Osibanjo who is comfortable serving in a devilish government, even though he himself might be a decent man. |
Kingsley Muoghalu is far above Peter Obi, Yemi Osibanjo, Bola Tinubu, Pius Anyim, AfDB's Adesina all put together. The only people that may mount a worthy challenge to Muoghalu in terms of preparedness for the presidential office will be people like Charles Soludo, Festus Odimegwu, Pat Utomi, Wole Soyinka. Of course, Pat Utomi and Wole Soyinka scaled down the ladder a little bit, as a result of their 2015 support for the current Fulani terrorist that is governing and terrorising Nigeria. |
Divaco:He is from Nnewi |
That's what happens when the APC and Fulani-run party takes over ones state. |
OderaOdesigo:The bolded is the proof I need to show that Buhari's hand is in the current violence and cannibalism going on in the SE. That's why the international community has not declared IPOB a terrorist group. They know the Fulani-controlled security forces are solely responsible for the mayhem |
AmazingELixir:Sorry oh. I'm not Yoruba |
Be patient Imo people. Buhari's murderous government will leave the scene in less than two years time The APC and Fulani-controlled security forces, who are obviously responsible for these acts of terrorism, cannibalism and murder, will loose their main sponsor in government |
Eastlink:Nwanne I'm just seeing this now. What a damning commentary on Alagoa's professionalism. These criticisms of the quack Alagoa seem to be coming from multiple sources |
You never know. Nigerians may drop the python-monetary-swallowing government in preference for a bra buying government |
JANK23H:We don't have to first approach them. We just claim our territory. If you yarn shit, we just kill you guys off, and approach the ICC to declare you guys aggressive landgrabbers, with enough evidence to sink the Titanic. Your down syndrome boyfriend Alabo7978 had better make sure not to be anywhere around Ubani at the appointed time, or we de-dick him and hang his solitary ball at the IbiniUkpabi entrance, as the Jo-men attornment for not worshipping their Aro gods for quite a while now |
Alabo7978:You have now completely deviated because we have whooped you silly. Show us evidence that the original Ubanis were Jos. That is all you need to do. So far multiple Igbo origin evidence have been forwarded to this group. Our bible was written with an Igbo king of Ubani, helping to request for that project. The Igbo king of Bonny did not ask for a Jo-men bible. When you have evidence of Jo-men origins for Ubani, you can come for us to still obliterate you. Meanwhile, you drunkard god Alagoa has been sunken by proper educated peers of his. |
Alabo7978:Your dunce level is off the scale. I have even boxed it in red, the text after the table you are talking about, so you will see that table was just created by Baikie to show the relationship between those languages. But the table of more importance to me is the second table, which the Igbo former king of Bonny, King Pepple, supplied both the Igbo and the Ibani numbering systems. I don't know the level of stupidity that you possess. But I will keep helping. Maybe eventually you will start worshipping us like your forebears did, before you. Till today, you still haven't been able to show us from any pre-Nigerian document, where it is stated that the Jos were the foundation of Bonny. So far, we have showed you multiple sources from neutral observers. All these your gragra ends here. When the time comes, Igbos have what it takes to reclaim all our lands. Basically Ndoki and Ngwa Igbos populated those areas. And you can do nothing about this very irrevocable fact
|
Alabo7978:Nnaa your illiteracy knows no bounds. The bit you bracketed was just a comparison of various languages, showing how related they are to the Igbo language. It has nothing to do with the languages spoken in Ubani. The first attachment contains a snippet in the same book by Dr. Baikie, alleging that there are commonalities among those languages and Igbo. So stop making a fool of yourself in this regard. I have resent that attachment again, please spend a few seconds to read the message inbetween the tables. You will notice that the second table, contains the numbering system of both Igbo and Ibani, both of which were supplied the the Igbo ex-king of Ubani, King Pepple. The whole thread has really been about who the original Bonny people are. And it has been severally proven, from documents put together by neutral observers, that the original founders of Ubani were Igbos. You cannot destroy this point. Alagoa and Fombo cannot destroy this point.
|
Fejoku:Thank you for this. In fact a number of earlier explorers and traders had already established the fact that Igboland was the origin point of the Ubanis. John Adams in the 1820s, Captain Crow's memoir which was compiled from 1790 to the 1820s, but published in 1830. Dr. Baikie in the 1850s. So the Jos have no basis to argue. Alabo7978 their local itibolibo is going nowhere |
Alabo7978:Here we go again with your usual present day, meant to confuse, writeups by modern landgrabbing Jos. The only ancient attachment you sent in, was the snippet from Ajayi Crowther. Now the obvious question will be this. Who are these Bonny indigenes? What language(s) do they speak? Now I will obliterate your 419 stuff with references from just Baikie. The first attachment was from the Appendix of Baikie's book. In it, the numbering system of both Ndigbo, and the Kalabari language also known as Ibani were supplied by King Pepple. You see, he didn't only supply Ibani. He gave both Ibani and Igbo. The second attachment, also from Baikie, clearly stipulates that Bonny people claim Igbo ancestry. Even the Ibani people, around this time, claimed to have come from Ngwa in Igboland. You see, the above puts everything into perspective. You are going nowhere. Ubani people are really from Ndoki and Ngwa stocks in Igboland.
