Yemike:I was totally surprised to watch men without face mask including policeman beside the corpse that was brought out of the casket. They were there carrying shovel with bare hands, adjusting the hand gloves of NCDC undertaker in the grave and doing all sorts. May be Corona virus from Kyari does not infect. Just calling on NCDC to follow up with all the mourners to avoid further spread from them. RIP Kyari |

Mr Oluchukwu Udaya was returning home on his motorcycle from a meeting with friends on a Sunday night of March 25, 2018 was stopped by police just behind a vehicle at Okpuno junction Awka. On clearing to stop, another policeman on the other side of the road came in furry that he did not stop immediately he was waved at and told him that he will hit him with the wood he had and proceeded to hit him on the left eye with the wood. The policeman; sergeant Onyekachi Nfejoku on seeing that Oluchukwu was bleeding on the eye and nose just walked across to where the police vehicle was packed. Mr Oluchukwu Udaya called his friends who arrived at the scene to witness his ordeal. Other colleagues of sergeant Onyekachi and himself took Oluchi to Okpuno police station. They said the DPO has ordered them to detain him. Oluchukwu's friends had asked the police that they should allow them take him to hospital for medical attention, but they refused and detained him till the next day with his bleeding eye. The next day, he was released and was taken to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu teaching hospital Amaku Awka by his friends and relatives. That is the value of a man’s eye to them.
