Short man that always bring up fight whenever president goes to South. Hallucination? That’s rich coming from someone still dreaming that Nigerians will overlook years of suffering...fuel price hikes, naira devaluation, skyrocketing transportation and food costs, worsening insecurity and reward the very architect of their hardship, who dished out wicked, draconian policies masquerading as economic reforms. You say Tinubu isn’t like Jonathan what exactly do you mean? That if he’s defeated, he won’t hand over power peacefully? Because last I checked, Jonathan bowed out with dignity, something Tinubu clearly struggles with. And let’s not forget: Tinubu was among those who worked against the South in 2015 just to serve his own ambition. Now you expect the same South to crown him in 2027? Keep dreaming. Nigerians have woken up and the receipts will be due. |

The post concluded with a pointed reminder of Tinubu’s campaign rhetoric : “You once said: ‘If I don’t give you electricity, don’t vote for me. ’ Well, Nigerians are listening. And come 2027, we intend to grant your wish.” In 2027, Nigerians will have no choice but to respond the only way they should: by not voting for him, since he failed to fulfill his promise to provide them with electricity |

2. Oil production up to 1.7MBPD.
3. FAAC allocations increased by over 60%.
4. 31 states, once crippled by debt, are now paying salaries, pensions, and contractors.
5. Naira decoupled from oil market volatility, regaining resilience.
6. Electricity restored to long-neglected communities.
7. Infrastructure delivered: Ogbia-Nembe Road, Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Sokoto-Badagry Road, and more.
8. NELFUND: About 400,000 students benefit from the historic loan scheme.

U are talking crap where the real power brokers are talking power
If el rufai love Nigeria that much, y didn't he stop Buhari then?
If el rufai was made minister by Tinubu will he be out there today?
Hope u know emefiele too would have been part of the coalition if he's out?
I guess emefiele cares about d masses too?
Hope u know David Mark have been around for over 3 decades n he didn't even utter a word about killing in his own state Benue but to u emotional people u believe it's about the love of Nigeria
Amaechi too is hungry right?
When it's time for power brokers to decide then u know nobody trust anyone from your side so obi can't even become president.
Nobody will return power to a Fulani man after Buhari just handed over, not only that even northern big wigs will not want atiku to take power cos he will ruin their chance in 2027, they will prefer tinubu finish his 4 years in 2031 n give them power jejely.
Just dey play
If it's all about the love of Nigeria, those people won't even b around now
Dey play Your entire comment says a lot, yet answers absolutely nothing. You’re deflecting with tired tribal angles, and conspiracy theories, but here’s what you conveniently dodged: My question remains, What exactly will Tinubu tell Nigerians to justify a second term? Because the real power brokers you worship have given us thoughtless subsidy removal, reckless naira floating, a collapsed economy, exploding inflation, joblessness, hightened insecurity and the slow death of the middle class You ask why El-Rufai didn’t stop Buhari? Maybe ask why Tinubu helped bring Buhari in the first place. Or better yet, ask yourself: Has Tinubu done any better? And here’s a question for you; Why would northerners have to wait until 2031 when they can take power come 2027? Is Tinubu making them a promise that power will return to the North in 2031? Because power must naturally return to the North, whether in 2027 or 2031. Why delay what is inevitable? You're out here defending suffering while millions can’t feed their families or afford transport to work. |

Tinubu’s administration has inflicted more suffering on Nigerians than the Israel-Gaza, Syria, Iran war combined has on its victims not through bombs, but through cruel, draconian policies disguised as economic reforms.
These policies have crushed livelihoods, deepened poverty, and pushed millions to the brink, all in the name of so-called reforms. |

Tinubu will defeat the coalition n he will b president again in 2027
Are u ready to bet? Before you engage in a bet, ask this simple question: What exactly will Tinubu tell Nigerians to justify a second term? His first two years have been marked by a thoughtless subsidy removal and reckless floating of the naira, which have triggered fuel price hike, a free-falling naira, Skyrocketing inflation, unaffordable transportation, exploding food prices, worsening insecurity and a collapsing economy all of which have wiped out the entire middle class. If we genuinely reflect on these facts, we’ll realize something important: Defeating Tinubu in 2027 shouldn’t just be possible, it should be the easiest political task of our time. Much easier than when Buhari and the APC defeated Jonathan in 2015. |

Politics › Disgraceful, Display Of Thuggery – Political Parties Blast Gov Okpebholo by Ofunaofu(op): 7:53am On Jul 19, 2025 |
The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, has described as a death threat, Governor Monday Okpebholo’s warning to 2027 presidential aspirant, Peter Obi not to enter Edo State.
The Governor had issued what could pass as a threat to Obi, warning him against entering the state without prior notification and approval from him.
Governor Okpebholo’s warning marks the second time Obi has been cautioned by an All Progressives Congress, APC-led state, including those reportedly for humanitarian purposes.
The first was from Benue State governor, Hyacinth Alia.
According to Okpebholo, Peter Obi can enter the state at the risk of his own life, adding “If anything happens to him here, he will have himself to blame. I’m not joking.”
He further claimed that the last time the 2027 presidential aspirant visited the state and made a donation of N15 million to a nursing school in the state there was unrest in Benin City, the state capital leading to the death of some people.
CUPP, in a statement signed by Chief Peter Ameh, its National Publicity Secretary, said the Governor’s comment clearly shows he is not inclined with the provision of the Nigerian Constitution which guarantees freedom of movement for citizens.
“Okpebholo’s recorded remarks, warning Obi not to ‘dare’ enter Edo State without his permission and stating that his security ‘is not guaranteed,’ constitute a veiled death threat against a law-abiding citizen exercising his constitutional rights,” the statement said.
CUPP called on other political leaders, civil society organizations and activists to speak up against what it describes as an unacceptable display of thuggery.
It added, “His only offense is traveling across the country to support hospitals, schools, nurses, and IDPs at their points of need. Should a governor fear acts of charity?
“Governor Monday Okpebholo’s threat against Peter Obi is a disgraceful act that strikes at the heart of Nigeria’s democracy. It is a direct assault on the constitutional rights to freedom of movement, expression, and association, and it reflects a dangerous arrogance that has no place in governance.
“This incident must serve as a wake-up call for Nigerians to defend their constitutional protections and demand accountability from those in power.
“The rule of law must prevail, and no individual, no matter their position, should be allowed to trample on the rights of citizens. Edo State and Nigeria deserve better than this shameful display of leadership.” https://dailypost.ng/2025/07/19/disgraceful-display-of-thuggery-political-parties-react-as-gov-okpebholo-threatens-peter-obi/

Politics › Nigeria Belongs To All Of Us, Obidient Movement Replies Okpebholo by Ofunaofu(op): 11:37pm On Jul 18, 2025 |
The OBIdient Movement has condemned Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo’s verbal attack on Peter Obi, stating it’s “unconstitutional and restricts the fundamental right of free movement guaranteed by Section 41 of the 1999 Constitution”.
Okpebholo, in a now-viral video, had issued a stern warning to Obi following the latter’s recent engagement in the state.
According to the governor, Obi would be held responsible for whatever happens to him in Edo should he visit the state without his permission.
Reacting, the OBIdient Movement in a statement signed Friday by its Director of Strategic Communications, Nana Kazaure, expressed deep concern over the circulating video, noting that such threats shouldn’t be taken lightly.
The OBIdient Movement pointed out that this isn’t an isolated incident, recalling a similar threat from Benue Governor against Peter Obi while on humanitarian missions.
The OBIdient Movement warned that if anything happens to Peter Obi, the governors (Okpebholo and Alia) making these threats should be held accountable, given their roles as chief security officers in their states.
“We urge all well-meaning Nigerians to speak out against this descent into political intolerance and recklessness,” the movement stated.
The full statement below;
The Obidient Movement has observed with deep concern a circulating video in which the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Monday Okpebholo, allegedly warns His Excellency @PeterObi never to set foot in Edo State again without pre-informing him.
For the avoidance of doubt, Section 41 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) guarantees the right of every Nigerian citizen to move freely and reside in any part of the country. It is therefore disturbing and constitutionally indefensible for Governor Okpebholo to threaten or seek to restrict this fundamental right.
Even more troubling is the pattern emerging from such dangerous utterances. This is not an isolated incident. We recall a similar threat previously issued by the Governor of Benue State against the person of His Excellency, Mr. Obi. In both instances, Peter Obi was on missions of goodwill and charity, offering humanitarian support to citizens neglected by the very governors and government now issuing these threats.
We wish to alert Nigerians and the international community that these threats should not be dismissed lightly. Should anything untoward happen to His Excellency Peter Obi, Nigerians should know where to look. These governors are the chief security officers of their respective states, and their utterances carry weight, not just in words, but in potential consequences.
We urge all well-meaning Nigerians to speak out against this descent into political intolerance and recklessness. Nigeria belongs to all of us. No individual, no matter how highly placed, should attempt to fan the embers of division or incite violence with careless, unlawful rhetoric. https://tribuneonlineng.com/nigeria-belongs-to-all-of-us-obidient-movement-replies-okpebholo/

Dr Moses Paul, a Spokesman to the former Labour Party presidential aspirant and erstwhile governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi recently reacted to Edo State governor Monday Okpebholo's declaration regarding any attempt from the former governor to visit his state. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that Peter Obi does not owe any governor permission to move freely within the country.
The recent statements of Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo regarding any attempt from former Anambra governor Peter Obi to visit his state was met with public backlash after the remarks went viral across various social media platforms.
According to the Edo governor, Peter Obi was responsible for a stampede that led to the death of three persons from his previous visit, hence, his security and that of his entourage cannot be guaranteed if he decided to visit the state.
His comments however, infuriated many, especially the supporters of the former Labour Party presidential aspirant as they deemed his comments treacherous. Reacting, Dr Moses Paul, a Spokesman to the former condemned his remarks.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that Nigeria was not practicing monarchical system of governance, hence Peter Obi owed no governor permission to move freely within the country.
This came after the former Anambra governor had earlier been denied access to Benue state to commiserate with victims of the Yelewata massacre.

Politics › Tinubu Using Buhari’s Death For Publicity Stunt, Says ADC by Ofunaofu(op): 9:57pm On Jul 18, 2025 |
The African Democratic Congress has accused President Bola Tinubu of allegedly using the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari for a political publicity stunt.
In a statement issued on Friday by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party condemned the Federal Executive Council tribute describing it as “a deliberate publicity stunt by an unpopular administration.”
On Thursday, Tinubu delivered a heartfelt tribute to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, calling him “a good, decent, and honourable man”, whose values of discipline, patriotism, and integrity would be remembered for generations.
Speaking at a Special Federal Executive Council session held in Buhari’s honour at the State House in Abuja with members of his family, National Assembly leaders, and others in attendance Tinubu acknowledged that while Buhari had his imperfections, his steadfast dedication to national service distinguished him.
In response, the ADC pointed out that the same administration had spent more than a year holding Buhari responsible for the nation’s economic woes, yet was now engaging in public mourning as a strategy to polish its tarnished image, particularly in the North and among Buhari’s supporters.
The party stated, “The ADC recalled how the government previously distanced itself from Buhari’s policies, especially on fuel subsidy, the economy, and public sector management, only to now attempt to cloak itself in the very legacy it once denounced.
“The African Democratic Congress condemns the Tinubu administration’s sudden and cynical attempt to wrap itself in the memory of the late President Muhammadu Buhari—a man this same government spent over a year blaming, sidelining, and scapegoating for every major challenge confronting the nation.
“The choreographed Federal Executive Council (FEC) tribute, complete with a publicised appearance by our late President’s grieving son, was not a demonstration of genuine respect.
“It was a calculated public relations stunt by an unpopular government, carefully stage-managed to distract Nigerians from the administration’s deepening failures and to rewrite history while the nation mourns.
“This is hypocritical and in bad taste. You cannot spend months discrediting a man’s legacy only to turn around and perform grief for the cameras.”
ADC expressed concern over the involvement of Yusuf Buhari, a private citizen and mourning son, in the political display of a Federal Executive Council meeting just days after his father’s burial.
The party questioned what kind of government would exploit a family’s grief to polish its public image.
It stated, “Nigerians remember that since taking office, the Tinubu administration and its officials have launched a relentless campaign to disown their predecessor’s policies .
“They have blamed Buhari for everything , accused him of fiscal recklessness, and claimed to have inherited a broken economy—not from the opposition, but from their own party’s former leader.
“For months, the official stance of the Tinubu Presidency was that Nigeria’s hardship was Buhari’s fault. The message was clear: Buhari was the problem, Tinubu was the solution.
“But now that it suits their political agenda, they seek to recast themselves as defenders of the late President’s legacy, pretending to give him in death, the honour they denied him while he was alive.
“Recall that earlier this week, the ADC warned the family of the late President of the Plan by government to make political gains from their father’s death.
“What we witnessed at the Federal Executive Council this week was only a part of the larger plan that had only started to unfold.”
The opposition coalition maintained that no amount of public relations tactics can rescue a government that, over the past two years, has acted more like an occupying force than a leadership serving its people.
ADC added, “The unfolding stage-managed displays of grief and the exploitation of a mourning son who was compelled to perform gratitude in front of the cameras is unconscionable and must be condemned by all decent people.
“Nevertheless, we are confident that Nigerians can see through their grand deceit.
“No public relations stunt can save a government that has behaved in the last two years like an army of occupation.” https://punchng.com/tinubu-using-buharis-death-for-publicity-stunt-says-adc/
