Pleased to receive His Excellency Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, former Deputy Governor of Kano State, at my residence in Kano.Source Ex-Kano Deputy Governor Nasir Gawuna Visits Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso At his Residence Former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, paid a visit to former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at his residence in Kano. According to a media post by Senator Kwankwaso on Monday, March 30, 2026, he expressed pleasure in receiving Gawuna, describing the visit as a significant engagement between key political figures in the state. Kwankwaso stated, “Pleased to receive His Excellency Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, former Deputy Governor of Kano State, at my residence in Kano,” while also expressing optimism about future developments, adding that he looks forward to what lies ahead. AMINDA:This is one of the reasons we say that Tinubu is Nigeria’s chief de-marketer. |
Parachoko:For you to even bold it You must surely be in serious pain and anguish |
That Tinubu has failed is no longer up for debate. What remains is for him to take his own advice....resign, just as he urged Goodluck Jonathan to do at the height of insecurity |
AMINDA:They’re not boasting because their candidate can win a free and fair election, they’re boasting because they expect Bola Tinubu to use state power to grab it, snatch it and run away with it like an electoral bandit |
Cherrybae:What if he plains to go to the Senate |
seunmsg:I feel your pains and anguish |
So, is INEC rushing to recognize the Wike & Co. caretaker committee limited as the Peoples Democratic Party? |
Mynd44, I must confess, in trying to disprove what you called misinformation about Tinubu’s age, you ended up creating your own confusion. You started this thread to correct a supposed false claim about his age, yet you failed to establish what the correct age actually is. So what exactly was the point? If determining his age feels like searching for a needle in a haystack, it’s because the uncertainty isn’t new. Questions have long surrounded not just his age, but other aspects of his public record, paternity, narcotics dealings, certificates, employment history, even identity claims etc. At this point, the more you dig, the more questions you uncover, it’s a loop, not a solution. Mynd44, you might want to rest. Some puzzles don’t get clearer with more effort. And honestly, I didn’t expect this from a mod |
It’s a natural phenomenon, but he should rest. Defending Tinubu is taking a huge toll on him. Supporting the worst regime in the history of this country can be exhausting...you lose sleep, and it can have serious health implications |
What has Bola Ahmed Tinubu done that governors can campaign with? Even they seem to avoid it. Tinubu himself isn’t campaigning on his record as president...because there’s little to show. Instead, he’s supporters are using "he built Lagos from scratch and tamed the Atlantic ocean", nearly four years into his presidency |
Season of political alignment and realignments |
Olusegun Dada is a mæd man |
Basic123:Provide evidence |
Wike sounds intoxicated on his usual 40-year-old whisky. Even at what he calls a convention, which is really just an Easter party for his rogue group ‘Wike & Co. Caretaker Committee Ltd.’, he’s still talking about Peter Obi, who have absolutely nothing to do with whatever they are doing there |
At this point, ‘controversial’ might as well be defined as Tinubu in the Oxford Dictionary. |
Basic123:Did Peter Obi say unprintable and unpalatable things about Nasir El-Rufai to the extent of denigrating his person? |
boxypane:Context matters I’ve just gone back to read it again, and I understand it well now. |
press9jatv:Before that, tell the APC governorship candidate in Osun State that he should forget about contesting and go fix the discrepancies in the certificate submitted to INEC. One certificate controversy is already enough for the country |
Hasn’t he been getting paid all along? |
Vote Tinubu For continuity of what exactly |
yarimo:"Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours." |
yarimo are you here |
seunmsg:No need for hypocritical, eye-service messages. The president needs to hear some real truth, and no better time than his birthday. That kind of birthday cheer won’t feed hungry Nigerians or protect them from insecurity. If he really wants applause, let him earn it with action, not empty words. |
yarimo:Imagine the honor of him showing up at your burial. |
This is the birthday wish Bola Tinubu truly deserves Not those hypocritical, eye-service messages |
marlow1962:Peter Obi is their nightmare |
Odin13:This is the new reality, my brother. Tinubu should campaign on what he has actually done, jobs created, lives protected, power and electricity provided, standard of living improved, and quality of life enhanced. Not propaganda. And let no moderfker tell us it’s the turn of the South. “It’s the turn of the South” applies only within the APC; it is not binding on the ADC. Just like in 2015, when the APC gave its ticket to Muhammadu Buhari while Goodluck Jonathan was seeking reelection. And on this ADC mandate...We stand gidigba. |
Hammylawali:Performance is relative and in the words of Daniel Bwala, context matters Are you saying that Lagosians can’t chose for themselves who is capable? You and I know that Tinubu’s so-called choice of governors isn’t about competence, it’s about protecting his personal wealth and ensuring the continued exploitation of Lagosians. Experience doesn’t justify a monopoly. Elders and party leaders aren’t gatekeepers of competence, they’re enablers of a system that puts personal gain above the people’s right to choose. So no, it’s not “negative” to call out a party that thinks democracy means a few deciding for the many. |
Okoyeeboz:You couldn’t disprove my point, so you resorted to insults and tribal bigotry. I’ll leave your comment where it belongs, rooted in tired stereotypes and cheap shots. I won’t descend to that level or view people through the narrow lens of ethnic or tribal bias. That says far more about you than it ever could about anyone else. |
Galactics:Valid question |
Case close It was just a cultural thing |
