mrvitalis:You’re right. Bola Tinubu decides who governs them, they have no say and no choice. Ironically, that’s his idea of being a democrat and progressive. |

Let’s be honest.....Tinubu isn’t aware of this message. It’s obviously coming from the Senior Domestic Servant’s office, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, who is the same age as Tinubu |
If these are the only options, then ADC should give us any of them, because to every Nigerian who is facing hardship, strife, rising inflation, worsening insecurity, and constant blackouts under the Tinubu regime, the thought of another four years is both scary and unimaginable. |
This is one of the best birthday wish

kunle4toyeyaho:Ok |
kunle4toyeyaho:If, as you claim, the Tribunal and Appeal Court both found fatal issues unsigned ballot papers, non-compliance with Section 77, and all that then you’ve basically admitted the case against him was strong at two separate judicial levels. So the real question writes itself: If everything was so clearly against him, why did the Supreme Court to rescue him? |
The former of Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike says he has not endorsed anyone for the forthcoming governorship election stressing that the slot is open for all. Barrister Woke who stated this while addressing Rivers Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in Abuja during a pre-convention reception organized for them, vowed that “what happened before would not happen again. He noted that God is not “stupid” to have given them the opportunity to correct their mistakes, emphasizing that it is only the one who fails to cash in on such opportunity that should be considered to be stupid. The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), vowed that no amount of intimidation or blackmail will make him repeat the mistakes he made before, even as he said that the governorship position this time will not be reserved for any ethnic group in the state. “I have been hearing people say that I have endorsed them , it’s their business. What happened to us before will not happen again “Nobody should be carried away with the speculations on social media, I’m not there . Whatever you read on social media please know that I’m not there” he said. Minister Wike however warned the people to be mindful of what they read and hear on social media, stressing that at the appropriate time, they will look one another “eyeball to eyeball” and take the necessary decisions“. This time our eyes are open and our ears are on the ground. So, if you like, for your selfishness go and collect electric pole contract or drainage contract, that’s your business. I’m not there. “Whoever is meeting you and telling you that he is close to me, I want to tell you that everybody is close to me. If the person can be, you too can be,” Wike said https://theportcitynews.com/2026/03/28/rivers-2027-wike-says-governorship-slot-open-to-all/ |
epainos:Rest bro Rest |
Dalohad:Not true. The current president is the worst plague, pestilence to have ever befallen Nigeria. In fact, the hardship under the Tinubu regime can be likened to the biblical plagues that befell Egypt. |
Willy2025:Politics is local, isn’t that what you in the APC always say? This is Kano not Lagos You claimed the heavyweights are in APC. Were they not there in 2023 when Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso led the NNPP to deliver Kano and bring in Abba Kabir Yusuf? Kwankwaso isn’t moving to the ADC alone, he’s moving with the Kwankwasiyya movement, the same force that brought the current governor to power. He’s moving with Gawuna, the 2023 APC guber candidate who pulled over 800,000 votes, and even with Abba gida's deputy governor who resigned just days ago. This is not minor, this is massive in Kano politics. |
givedemwotowoto:Please, let’s not go there, we’ll leave with more questions than answers. The controversy alone, from narcotics to attending a school four years before it existed, etc it's just too much |
akpumping7720:By the court or by Tinubu |
kunle4toyeyaho:But all these men were there in APC in 2023 and still Kwankwaso NNPP delivered Abba gida |
Convention:Newly Defected Governors Unhappy Over Inability To Field Their Loyalists Into APC Offices With the commencement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention on Friday, developments within the party appear to be consolidating ahead of the forthcoming primaries, suggesting a tightening of influence around the party’s leadership structure. According to Daily Trust, party primaries, including the resolution of disputes arising from them, are scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to take place between 23 April and 30 May 2026. At the 8th National Convention holding in Abuja, with over 8,000 delegates in attendance, expectations are that the composition of the National Working Committee (NWC) may largely remain unchanged, despite earlier assumptions that the gathering would usher in a new set of leadership. Although initial projections pointed toward a significant restructuring of the party’s national leadership, the process leading up to the convention has been shaped by internal negotiations, alignments, and differing interests since the release of the guidelines. Reports indicate that current members of the NWC have secured backing linked to the Presidency to retain their positions, a situation that has generated concerns and objections from some aspirants who had hoped for openings in the party’s leadership hierarchy. In recent years, the party has also recorded a notable increase in its political base, following the defection of several governors and federal lawmakers, a development that has strengthened its numerical and political standing. However, the evolving structure of the party’s leadership has raised questions among some of the newly joined stakeholders. Sources suggest that the traditional influence previously exercised by state governors in determining key party appointments, especially in zones allocated to their states, may no longer carry the same weight under the current arrangement. Some governors were reportedly interested in positioning allies for strategic roles within the party’s national secretariat but have encountered limited success in doing so. For instance, efforts attributed to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to influence the appointment of a preferred candidate into the role of national publicity secretary were said to have not yielded the desired outcome at the time of reporting. There are also indications that several governors who joined the party after the current administration’s inauguration have expressed dissatisfaction with the emerging structure, particularly as it appears to offer them limited leverage within the national leadership framework. Observers note that if the present configuration is maintained, many of the new entrants into the party may not have representatives or close allies occupying key positions at the national level. Among those referenced in this context are governors from Delta, Plateau, Taraba, Zamfara, Bayelsa, Rivers, Adamawa, and Akwa Ibom states, whose influence within the national party structure is perceived to be minimal under the current alignment. Analysts suggest that the prevailing arrangement could result in a party leadership whose loyalty is primarily aligned with the central authority, thereby reducing the influence of both newly defected governors and long-standing stakeholders within internal party decision-making. There have also been unconfirmed claims surrounding the distribution of nomination forms during the build-up to the convention, with suggestions that initial limitations in the availability of forms may have been intended to favour incumbent officeholders. However, it was further reported that subsequent concerns raised by some party members led to adjustments, including the production of additional forms to accommodate wider participation. https://newsaf.feednews.com/news/detail/1d8c57d5d9f2168dcff148823a1a30a9?client=news |
Putindbutt:I hope you realize that he would have been held only if there were substance to the ICPC’s charges. Yet he was released without issue, just like that. This whole drama is nothing more than witch-hunting, an attempt to gag the opposition, stifle dissent, and strangle democratic space. Nothing more, nothing less. |
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has paid a condolence visit to former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai at his Abuja residence on Saturday. El-Rufai had lost his mother on Friday afternoon following age-related health challenges, which worsened in recent times. The former governor was released from the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC immediately after the news of his mother’s death broke. He earlier received former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, former Accountant General of the Federation, AGF Abubakar Malami and a host of other top leaders mainly from the opposition. https://dailypost.ng/2026/03/28/atiku-visits-el-rufai-in-abuja/?utm_source=operamini&utm_medium=feednews&utm_campaign=operamini_feednews |
demstone:You started this comparison about party performance and prices, I just held you to it. The APC and Tinubu campaigned on the idea that the People's Democratic Party failed and that they would do better, yet the results say otherwise. They performed far worst Now you’ve switched to who is PDP, ‘if you remove so so and so from PDP, APGA and ADC, what is left and what is not left, instead of addressing the facts. At this point, it feels less like a discussion and more like dodging the question. And just as someone opined here, I might be engaging with a programmed stone, who's reasoning cells was removed and was replaced with stone |
demstone:You’re making an unreasonable comparison. The APC campaigned against the People's Democratic Party on the promise of improving things and changing the narrative yet things have only gotten worse. If Bola Ahmed Tinubu met rice at N36,000 per bag, already considered expensive compared to what it was under the PDP, and it has now risen to N66,000 under his watch, isn’t that a clear failure, especially considering they campaigned on the claim that the PDP was bad and that they would make things better |
Felabrity:yarimo can't answer this question He doesn't have the capacity to do so |
demstone:Provide evidence Listen, you’re just muddling things up. First, you claimed the PDP was in power in 1998 now you’re shifting the goalpost. Which is it? Then you say you can’t compare fuel prices because it was subsidized back then. Fine, but do you have any evidence that fuel today isn’t still being subsidized, despite selling for N1,400– N1,500 per litre? You can’t dismiss one set of facts with ‘subsidy’ and then conveniently avoid proving your own claims. That’s not an argument, that’s selective reasoning |
demstone:Since you claim not to be misleading people, kindly provide verifiable evidence to support your assertion about 1998, especially considering that the PDP only assumed power in 1999. Also, your claim that the exchange rate was N20 to $1 needs proper backing. While you’re at it, please compare fuel pump prices during the PDP era from 1999–to-2015 with those under Tinubu from 2023 to date |
Seyi Law is a comedian. Like someone said above, he’s just selling his mouth, that’s how he makes his living. It’s his calling. So whenever he makes political statements, just take it as him cracking jokes |
demstone:You wey go school, where’s the evidence that the naira was exchanging at #20 to a dollar in 1998? |
Where is the grand arrival |
A social media commentator, Imran U. Wakili, has alleged that the sudden release of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, is evidence that the government had been targeting him unfairly. In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Wakili claimed that El-Rufai’s detention was not based on any proven wrongdoing but was instead intended to humiliate him. He argued that the timing of the release raised questions about the motives behind the former governor’s arrest and prolonged detention. “The sudden release of Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai shows that they were only keeping him to humiliate him, not because he committed any crime,” Wakili wrote. He further criticised authorities for allegedly denying El-Rufai the opportunity to bid farewell to his late mother, while keeping him in custody throughout the 30 days of Ramadan. According to him, the eventual release, which will allow the former governor to attend his mother’s funeral, suggests a partial reconsideration by those responsible. Wakili added that while the release may indicate “a little conscience,” it also underscores what he described as unjust treatment. President Bola Tinubu; Governor Uba Sani; and Malam Nuhu Ribadu, have all condoled with El-Rufai over his mother’s death. Their comments have attracted divergent reactions on social media, with some describing the ordeal of the former governor as a family affair among the elites. The ICPC had arraigned him on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He was arraigned before a Federal High Court in Kaduna, which adjourned his application for bail till March 31. But hours after his mother died in Cairo, Egypt, the anti-graft agency freed the former governor, who has denied all the allegations leveled against him https://dailytrust.com/el-rufais-sudden-release-shows-he-did-nothing-wrong/ |
Of course, his rogue group, Wike & Co. Caretaker Committee limited parading themselves as PDP members will only end up shocking themselves, not Nigerians. At that point, they’ll realize that Tinubu used them purely for his own selfish interest: to grab and snatch power.....nothing more. |
IkeOnyia:Are you in Aba, or just committed to disbelief? Someone experienced constant electricity there, but you’d rather dismiss it than admit things can actually work. |
muyico:I know you're dazed, maybe even surprised. It probably looks like magic to you. That’s what happens when you’ve never experienced quality leadership. You’re used to propaganda, lies, falsehoods and obvious incompetence masquerading as governance. So when you finally see purposeful leadership, especially people in Aba getting constant electricity, Aba of all places, it feels unfamiliar. You’ve grown accustomed to a system where your APC leaders promise constant electricity during campaigns, then deliver excuses and apologies instead. This isn’t magic, it’s simply what leadership is supposed to look like. |
Tinubu/APC turned out to be a weapon fashioned against Nigeria and its citizens, promising something better than the PDP era, but delivering something far worse |
Listening to Tinubu speak, especially to his own party you can’t miss the disconnect between his words, his thinking, and the reality Nigerians are facing. |
An APC supporter will post anything, no matter how senseless, as long as it paints APC in a good light...and their hordes will eagerly run with it. |

And after Atiku defeated them, let's see of Obi will take the VP slot or not. Cos that Obi....he no get class. Cos if na person wey get class, he would stay in ADC, would work with Atiku and cut arrangements, and would nominate Atiku's VP. But if he no get class, he go rush Atiku's vp.
