When this man was appointed Minister of Defence, people celebrated and said Tinubu made the right choice. I kept wondering what exactly they were celebrating. Christopher Musa was already the Chief of Defence Staff under Tinubu, and the country’s security situation has only worsened. Now, instead of focusing on how to defend a country facing arguably the worst security crisis in its history, he seems more concerned with providing security for an APC event, a role that should ordinarily fall to the police. |
Another four years of the Tinubu regime would be unimaginable, infact suicidal, even. Poverty and penury would walk the streets of Nigeria on two legs |
This will be Nigerians campaign slogan come 2027
|
Absolutely 💯 This is an undeniable fact Even Burob and other die hard Tinubu supporters will agree to this very fact |
Pierocash:Don’t mind those clowns. You should know that Akpabio and Oshiomhole have one thing in common: One is after fellow female senators, while the other was caught frolicking and smooching a South African ashana in a luxury jet. |
Bwala is a rabble-rouser, a dishonest, decrepit and thoroughly discredited individual who wouldn’t even hire himself. Now he hopes to use Peter Obi to relaunch his battered image after embarrassing and disgracing himself and his principal internationally in his Al Jazeera interview with Mehdi Hasan. |
fergie001:Thank you fergie001 |
Onewazobia:Is there a crisis in NNPP? |
adekolaelect:Was there a crisis in the NNPP that made some senators, House of Representatives members, and the Kano State governor to defect to the APC? |
Buhari created the error, Tinubu corrected it. APC created the error, APC corrected it |
Tinubu calling himself a democrat is pure irony. He clearly doesn’t understand what being a democrat is all about. Democrats believe in the sanctity of electoral votes. Tinubu doesn’t. Democrats allow the will of the people to prevail. Tinubu doesn’t. A democrat is not a drug baron, an identity thief, or a forger. A democrat doesn’t build a conduit pipe from a state treasury to his pocket, siphoning the commonwealth of the people for decades. A democrat doesn’t “grab it, snatch it, and run away” with the people’s mandate like a criminal. A democrat respects the constitution and the rule of law, and does not stifle the opposition or strangle the democratic space. In fact, the late Buhari, a military general was more of a democrat than Tinubu can ever dream of being. |
yarimo:Oh, so you’re one of those who spread the fake news |
When will fellows look in the mirror and admit to themselves that there’s nothing refreshing about renewed hope, let alone the so-called refreshing rise? |
We know where the fake news emanated from |
When ever they make this kind of assurance, just know that it's going to get worse |
He has failed woefully and spectacularly |
This will be Nigerians’ campaign slogan to Tinubu: a reminder of his own promise ...no constant electricity, no second term. |
Even Adelabu knows that he is telling a huge lie |
Taiwo should look in the mirror first. He is part and parcel of the government he serves, a government that prioritizes its insatiable personal welfare over the welfare of Nigerians. Yet he suddenly lectures us about prioritizing the welfare of Nigerians, whereas his principal tells Nigerians to endure the necessary pain, as though inflicting pain on citizens were a cardinal pillar of the Tinubu regime’s “Renewed Hope” agenda. Thunder 🔥⚡🔥⚡🔥⚡ all of them there |
The Ghanaian government has commenced the issuance of licenses to individuals and corporations for the cultivation and management of cannabis. Ghana’s Narcotics Control Commission made the announcement in an official document dated March 11, 2026, which was signed by Francis Okpoku Amoah, the commission’s acting director of public affairs and international relations. The commission noted that its decision follows the launch of the national licensing regime on 26 February 2026 by Ghana’s minister for the interior. “Following the historic launch of the national licensing regime on 26 February 2026 by the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak (MP), the Narcotics Control Commission (NCC) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the cultivation and management of cannabis,” the document reads. The narcotics commission said the development is a milestone which marks the implementation of Section 43 of the Narcotics Control Commission Act, 2020 (Act 1019), as amended, and L.I. 2475. It added that the development signifies a strategic shift toward harnessing the economic and health potential of cannabis while maintaining the highest regulatory standards. It, however, noted that in strict accordance with the law, “licenses are exclusively for cannabis with a THC content of not more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis.” The commission said the licensing for the cultivation and management of cannabis is meant for industrial use, for the production of high-quality fiber and seeds, and for medicinal use, for the development of pharmaceutical and health-related products. The commission further noted that it was inviting interested individuals and corporate entities to participate in the growing industry, adding that the agency offers a comprehensive regulatory framework across eleven distinct license categories, which are cultivation, processing, breeding, research and development, laboratory and testing, storage, transportation, import, export, sales and distribution, advertising, and promotion. With the announcement, Ghana has now joined the growing list of African countries that have legalised cannabis for industrial and medical usage. The other nine African countries are Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Morocco, South Africa, Lesotho, Rwanda, Uganda, and Eswatini. Meanwhile, the Nigerian government has refused to legalise cannabis for industrial and medical use despite calls for its legalisation by activist Omoyele Sowore and Rotimi Akeredolu, a former governor of Ondo State, who is now late. https://gazettengr.com/ghana-begins-licensing-indian-hemp-to-shore-up-government-revenues/ |
This is very shameful and regrettable. Do we still have a government? Why hasn’t Tinubu resigned? Is the level of insecurity today not worse than what it was under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, the same insecurity that made Tinubu tell Jonathan to resign?

Burob:The line between sanity and madness is thin. Burob, you have crossed that line |
Olu1000:It is actually the rogue group called Wike & Co caretaker Committee limited |
We all remember the infamous statement: ‘Where are the cows? |
fxexperts:She is the only female senator whose name was removed from the list. |
This is the one and only authentic PDP |
fxexperts:It’s a UN Women event, for Pete’s sake. Come to think of it, how many women are even in the Senate? Yet somehow it’s ‘victim mentality’ to question why one of the few women there was removed from the list Make una they try get shame sometimes |
kunle4toyeyaho:The “be careful, you might be subpoenaed” line is always amusing. Criticising how institutions function in a democracy isn’t a crime, it’s actually the whole point of having citizens. You may wish to play the ostrich and bury your head in the sand, pretending the judiciary under this government isn’t being conveniently deployed whenever the opposition becomes inconvenient. That’s your choice. The supreme court has ruled that no court has jurisdiction over internal matter of political parties. But we have consistently seen situations under the regime lower courts dish out conflicting judgement and these judgement and its outcome consistently aligns with the interests of those in power, and their political allies. we see these things, we are allowed to ask questions. That’s not contempt of court; that’s civic awareness. You call the judgement “sound and unambiguous.” Fine. Others are free to see a broader political context around it. Democracy isn’t a fan club where everyone must clap in unison. History shows that when institutions start looking like tools instead of referees, democracy suffers. You can cheer today if it hurts the PDP. But remember: once the machinery of state becomes a political weapon, it rarely stops with just one target. |
fergie001:He is actually a comedian |
Burob:Don’t mention me in this US–Israel–Iran war. If you’re so eager, go to Iran and fight the US, Israel, and their allies. When you get blown up, you can head to paradise and collect your supposed 72 virgins. |
The Accord Party in Osun State has challenged the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Oyebamiji, to explain his alleged role in the mismanagement of a $20 million World Bank primary health care grant during former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s administration. In a statement on Tuesday, the party said Oyebamiji, who served as Commissioner for Finance and Chairman of the State Procurement Board at the time, allegedly allowed the illegal sharing of primary health care contracts in violation of state laws. Pastor Victor Akande, the state chairman, demanded clarification on what transpired at a procurement board meeting attended by other commissioners, questioning whether its resolutions conformed with state procurement laws. He also raised concerns about the report submitted by the board to the State Executive Council, which allegedly facilitated the allocation of contracts linked to the grant without following due process. Akande said government records contain full details of the transactions and urged Oyebamiji to be transparent, noting that residents deserve to know how the $20 million grant was spent. Reacting, the Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji Media Front dismissed the allegations as baseless, insisting that World Bank-funded projects are subject to strict international auditing standards. The group, through its coordinator Adebayo Adedeji, highlighted that Oyebamiji’s administration revitalised 322 primary health care centres across Osun State and rehabilitated several general hospitals, including the construction of modern doctors’ quarters at the State General Hospital, Asubiaro, Osogbo. The media front added that the World Bank had acknowledged the proper management of the grant, accusing critics of attempting to tarnish Oyebamiji’s reputation https://www.westernpost.ng/accord-challenges-oyebamiji-to-explain-role-in-20m-health-grant/ |
In 2024 they distributed so-called CNG kits. What impact did they make? Now Tinubu suddenly wakes up and orders the distribution of CNG kits again. At this rate, this government deserves a Nobel Prize for the most confused and inept regime in history
