Who would add fresh fish to soup without first seasoning and partially cooking it? The properly cooked fish not only tastes sweeter and better but also reduces the strong odor associated with fresh fish.

If I were to visit your home and witness you adding uncooked, fresh fish directly to your soup, I would immediately infer that you lack culinary expertise and possibly maintain questionable hygiene standards and would never eat that rubbish.

As someone that enjoys when English is well written or spoken, your grammatical construction above is well cooked unlike the fresh fish he cooked with the soup without initial seasoning and pre-cooking.
