I ve always said this n let me repeat it again most jobless ppl r lazy ppl with an oversized ago.

They never want to start small, all dey want is dt dream job or nothing. Even if u dnt lik d job, u will lik d bills it pays until u get ur dream job.

Op dt part dt says u want to kill urself if u dnt get a job gives u away as a coward n its totally irritating. U shld b a man n hustle until u rise up again.

U are right but only to some extent. A car with thermostat removed and fan spinning constantly might eventually get to its operating temperature on a hot day but might take up to 30 mins to 1hr of driving. So what if I commute only short distances, say I drive for only 15-20 mins, that means I will constantly run rich and my car will never get to it's optimum temperature, not good for my engine.

U should also know that a car with thermostat removed, fans spinning constantly, coupled with a double cell radiator WILL NEVER get to its operating temperature no matter how long u drive it. Trust me I know what I'm saying.

Pure lie it depends on d car mine gets to operating temp in 10min on a hot day n abt 15min on a rainy day/cold day.

Theory is different frm practical esp wen ur car is 10yrs n older n dts wat some ppl dnt kw

Op I warned u abt d argument this topic will generate bc experts arnd here are seriously against this practice even wen they dnt understand dt running a car in Nigeria strictly on factory specs is sometimes practically impossible except u r ur own mechanic.

A friend of mine (Male) is out of job and has a car. He does not want to use it as a cab because he does not fancy that kind of job. A car with thermostat removed and fan running steadily but with a bad water pump will still overheat. A car with bad radiator cap will overheat even with quadruple cell radiator and quadruple fans spinning non stop.

Ofcourse dt statement assummed other things being equal so its right.

A car without water/coolant in d radiator will overheat even one with brake binding issue will overheat

A car used in nigeria with thermostat removed n fan running steadily will never overheat dts a fact. Yes d only harm is dt ur car burns fuel more only on a cold day for abt 15min or less after first start up b4 it reaches operating temp n runs normal. A lesser harm to d engine if u ask me compared to a daily overheating engine which will cause u a total engine replacement b4 long.

My friend's 10 year Marriage is about to collapse.

His, my friend's genotype is AA and his wife's genotype is AS but their 4 year old daughter has been confirmed to have SS genotype by not less than 4 different medical experts. He confronted the wife and accused her of infidelity but she vehemently denied having any affair with another man. In other to prove her wrong, my friend subjected the little girl to a paternity test and there he got the shock of his life - the result showed he actually is the father of the girl. At first he accused the doctor of compromise because he is their family doctor and somehow relates to the wife. He then decided to go to another hospital to prove the paternity of the girl child there and then he got another shocker - the first result was actually correct. As It stands, my friend has consulted more than five other doctors outside the state of his residence and all Confirmed that the girl's genotype is SS and he actually is the father of the child despite his and the wife's genotype being as stated above. Even the doctor's are confused by the results as it negate conventional medical norm.

My question now is, experts in the house, is there anything that can lead to such unconventional biological flaw? Under what condition can AS and AA couple have an SS child? Can mutation lead to such condition? My friend insists on divorce because he doesn't believe the wife. Should he go ahead based on what we all know about genotype?

Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka is set to be elected as the Oxford professor of poetry after emerging as the leading candidate for the role.

Candidates for the 300-year-old position, which is seen as the top academic poetry role in the UK, need to be nominated by at least 50 Oxford graduates.

Soyinka has already gathered more than 90 nominations, including votes from writers, Melvyn Bragg and Robert Macfarlane, the Guardian UK reports.

The role is currently occupied by eminent poet, Geoffrey Hill who will complete his five-year tenure this summer.

Also competing for the position are Ian Gregson, a poet, literary critic and professor of creative writing at Bangor University who has 54 nominations and Seán Haldane, a poet and award-winning novelist who has 51 nominations.

The Oxford Professor of Poetry will give one public lecture a term and will earn a stipend of £12,000 a year.

The winner will be announced on June 19.
