The truth is, the social media fools and useless tiktokers are part of why rules are changing. If u understand covert racism/discrimination, you will these countries do not want Nigeria. No government would be happy when you openly talk about the loopholes in their policies. A manager in health and social care told me their international recruitment's direct them that they shouldn’t accept applications from Nigeria and Zimbabwe but they can accept from Ghana, SA and those Asian countries like Philippines, he said he doesn’t understand why he has to reject good applicants because of that. They won’t come out to say we don’t want Nigerians or Zimbabweans nah but they filter applications. The day I caught one British nurse watching Daddy freeze on YouTube ehn, Mo fo. The way we demonize our continent is at our own disadvantage. They will never respect us and u will never be accepted to this British culture even make u later become citizen, no matter how u try |
Goke7:Yes they are in NHS as support workers but the trust don’t sponsor 3 months before current visa expiration which is beyond spring. Wawu so them go tell wife to go home? Not making sense to me really |
lavida001:U fit love this country more than the locals? U better make your money and be happy. I relate with colleagues who are locals and talk politics and the reasons Rishi seems to be better to them than Boris is that he never partied during Covid and never lied to the queen or something. I also feel Starmer is promising some things that are not %100 realistic. Who even take politicians serious nowadays? |
Abeg I want to understand something o, assuming someone is on graduate visa and his family are already in UK. Let’s say he got sponsorship in healthcare after spring, will the UK send dependents back home? I have people panicking over this really. |
I don’t know about any other place o, but if you work in NHS, if you really know what you are doing and show interest, you can go far higher than you think. It might take time but you can go far. Our director of nursing, a Nigerian started from HCA, he didn’t come with study but all these spousal visa thing then, worked his way up and 18 years later, he’s our director of nursing. I’m starting band 4 or nursing degree next year depending on funding availability for the nursing degree as there are crazy competition for it and I project to be a nurse in 4/5 years. I also have the option to enroll for Education mental health practitioner trainee next year and after 1 year study I become band 5 EMHP working in schools which is not my thing. Yes it’s taking time but I’m not paying for it. It my manager who is recommending these options for us but sadly these oyinbo people are not really bothered about progression. what some people take for granted in elearning courses and attending training, I take it very seriously and always finish them ahead of time. I got my eyes on other stuff too and in fact other japa opportunities but I’m still here and if top jobs are not showing in my field, I should be walking my way up with what I have got. A top guy from naija who started with care with nhs and when he saw a hotel service manager job posting recently from same trust that he qualified for, he applied and got the job. The thing is, there are massive opportunities for most fields in health and social care in UK, I know for some, age can be a factor but still It takes patience and we will be alright. Please not all hca/hcsw dey wash yansh o, im hca in mental health and I never see poop before |
The people ruling this country don’t know what they want. Majority of the citizens have no clue about what they even want. The blame culture in this country scares me a lot, constantly looking for who to blame when things go wrong for their own ineffectiveness. |
The can for sure if the guy stop being a Doctor where the lady was a patient. You can be responsible for someone you are dating medically & professionally frog12: |
Shut the mess. Unethical, unprofessional and irresponsible and breach of whatever trust he’s working for policies. How can you have sexual relationship with your patient? Consensual or not. Sexual relationships is frown upon in my trust even colleagues to colleagues no matter how consensual it is. Open your head and stop saying nonsense KillIgbohoN0W: |
Walahi talahi, knacking after buffet na him dey solve issues for my side o. Knocking time na for me expression of wetin dey her mind. bigtt76: |
Hmmm, I have a friend whom his wife called police 3 times, police came twice search him and his property and stuff, nothing was found based on her allegations, third time she called police, husband brought out loads of video evidence and police asked why he didn’t show them the first time that they would have believe the wife in absence of evidence. Police evicted that lady and ask my guy if they want them to prosecute her for domestic violence but my guy said what will I tell my son that I send her mother to court/jail? Police told him to sign that he agreed not to take the matter up. Na the wife them evict for two weeks and she had been acting normal since then. As a man don’t hit or touch a woman, make sure you are doing the right thing. Make sure you have evidence to defend yourself for future. Also, I find this country very depressing for couple partly cuz our expectations are high but left disappointed. We work so much that we forget to have time for each other cuz we got bills and responsibilities back home. All those little little outings for Naija is underrated. The accumulation of those bad feelings might cuz issues. justwise: |
Apt, people know the truth, people just choose to choose their own narrative. Legal in US and not legal in Nigeria doesn’t mean he forged it! How is this hard to understand? Mynd44: |
I’m not that a practicing Muslim but I so much believe in power of that Ayyatul Qursiy. I recite it when in doubt, before driving, when I sense danger that now becomes an habit and I always believe it saved me and May I not see what would make me not to believe in it again. It’s very powerful Ayya |
We deserve the type of Government we have honestly. SpicyMimi: |

Shebbs:No I won't, so far it doesn't affect my home and I won't. You just add yourself to people who think i'm mad. I won't just kill myself before death. What do you think would happen If an average man catch another man on top of his woman? Kill the man is what I can think of, then go to jail? U are saving yourself a lot of troubles when u expect nothing |
Had to erased my last comment but the summary is anything can happen and I'd love to die a peaceful man. It's not worth it trying to find out if your woman is cheating. We are all a potential murderer regardless of our faith if we are challenged in a scenario that could make u kill but knowing fully well anything can happen will calm our nerves when it happen and that goes a long way |
HIGHESTPOPORI:I believe APC was and is still in power. Was 25% in Abuja mandatory? Was interview a requirement to win an election? I think he played his game according to how he knows can win. Like I said fingers crossed. |
How u wan take win Tinubu in court is what I'm greatly interested in, more so as a sitting president? I believed he won the election due to disunity in PDP. You need to be united as opposition to defeat an incumbent at federal level in Nigeria. Anyways, fingers crossed but I'd not get carried away by this initial gra gra sha |
Cuz what u earn is community money in Nigeria, u pay for your mother’s brother’s Son/Daughter’s Waec fees, school fees etc. u pay that scarce cash for your children school fees and lesson fees, clothes etc. it is by grace of God to have one low budget 3 bed flat and probably one 1990s Audi or bwm after retirement as a civil servant without corruption in Nigeria. The sad part is most of those lunatic childrens are forming woke to that same parents who sacrificed their sweat. I would do anything for my parent. They suffered a lot |
I got 27mins for £4.19 with giffgaff. Now bad at all Phayie: |
Regardless of who is removing this subsidy, either Bubu or Bat. Subsidy just need to go. One guy for my area went into bunkering and shit and the guy is a billionaire. Imagine u stole it and govt still pay subsidy on stolen commodity. Procrastinating on this subsidy will only give the beneficiary more time to lobby people in Govt. Buari tried to remove it many times but lobbying thieves won’t let it be. Also, people should downsize their cars, it’s crazy how 1 person can own more than 3 cars in Nigeria. People with minimum wage have no business with cars if we want to be honest with each other. I only want minimum wage to be nothing less than #100,000, open borders fully cuz I don’t understand how imported rice is cheaper than homegrown after border closure, cbn should use daily black market rate for exchange rate too and watch how exchange rates will go back to near 2015 rate. Lastly, we Nigerians run, some of us are just plain wicked but as usual we always find someone else to blame. How can u hoard fuel u bought in old price from depot just to make x5 profit? Maybe it’s when people starts burning one or two stations hoarding fuel. Them go get sense. I just don’t like how some few people do evil and make the people blame govt. nonsense |
I thought my phone was hacked at first cuz it is very disgusting. Gazuz: |
Tingotoe:Lol, sorry poor bugger. |
How can I unread this? Is there no future billionaires in Sokoto ni. God forbid bad thing, I will spend this money when I become rich o. |
Lol |
Tell your friend not to add any cover letter. Apply for PSW and hope for the best. I still never met anyone denied PSW on that ground though. I’m not encouraging anyone but I get upset till today that friends who did more than 20hours steadily got a faster successful application response on PSW than me wey obey. Life is not fair, also u can be the scapegoat Strata1716: |
Lol, the naija guy wey dey here sit beside me before dey collect money o😏 paid him £70 to go carry car within 50 miles. Seems nothing is free for UK and u see that time, people no dey waste am. He said he did his practical test 9 times lol ukay2: |
