All the responses commended the school, most especially the library and the green area but virtually all gave poor review of the business courses and teachings..

Personally, I got discouraged when I learnt through the students that no application software like Matlab, Python etc will not be taught, that is d purpose of opting for d course, their is vacancy in my work place and I need that knowledge ASAP.Think schools in USA and Canada are better,they offer financial software application as part of the course....Will dig further for such schools.

If it is the same Uni of Hull I am and that’s my roommates department , then that’s not true, the lady Is doing well in her studies. people really need to start reading their prospective course page and not just apply because you like the course, independent study is UK thing, those are the work of lazy adults who wants to be spoon fed all the time. Most schools in Uk will tell u about independent study, you can’t be spoon fed all the time as a master student. Can u ask those students if they are doing 30 hours independent study weekly? Well most don’t know the meaning of independent study they see on the course page of their various university, some schools will go as far as telling you 50% independent study. You have access to one of the best library with lots of books, Lecturers are always available to help. Never mind these people, if u fail definitely you will have something negative to say.

Also, don’t forget most people switch from entire different course from undergraduate to business, people like that should know they have extra work and readings to do. My roommates studied accounting in a Nigerian school, maybe that’s why she’s finding it easy. I am studying what I did in my undergraduate and I am doing well.

Another problem is this particular school wants to see your analytical and critical thinking skills and must show that in all your assignments, Exams etc. but most of us are used to descriptive method and that’s not acceptable here or won’t get you good grades. There are helps from the university for you to excel. As for me University of Hull worth every penny I paid. The business school doesn’t have issues, in USA PhD students do teach students too.

Very few Nigerians are just hypocrites and bitter soul and always take advantage of good system. what we can’t do in our country, cuz we in a good system, we start abusing it. There is one guy who went to write report against his colleague(British) over useless and meaningless thing that you can talk it out with that your colleague. That colleague left the job cuz of that when he heard about it, but if it is the other way round, we will be shouting racism.

People should take it easy in life, being hard and harsh will not take anyone anywhere, be responsible for your own part of the failure and not blame it on someone else. University of Hull is not Perfect but far far better than what we have in Nigeria. When you have problems with someone, speak to the person first if it’s really not hurting anyone, most of the people here are not used to shouting, people should stop doing ejo wewe, market women association talk in class maybe they will listen and hear what the lecturer is saying, yes I hate it too, some Nigerians are just talkative in class. And it makes me feel embarrassed.

Hargreaves was recommended by our accountant and tax advisor.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend any fund managers - I do not have any financial services quals to give advice. I can state which ones we use that's all. What works for us may not necessarily work for you.

Please Which Janus are you talking about? The one I saw online was founded in 2017 which is about 5 years now? Or is it Janus one and not janus Henderson? Also, which of this organizations is suitable for let’s say £6k monthly income household?

Janus Henderson and Hargreaves Lansdown are just companies/ organisations that people can invest through and they manage your funds for you. We did research and chose the ones that would work for our situation and fit in our plans. There are a gazillion fund managers out there so it pays to really check them out. The manbot has had the Janus one since he was 3 years old and he's now in his 40s (it's now a joint one).

In response to someone else, I added links to read about trusts etc and why people use them. You may have go back some pages to find it.

They care less about stamps. The screenshot attached in the last page says it all. What makes any statement authentic to them is when they'll directly contact your bank to comfirm the genuiness of the account and the sitting balance.

So, stamp doesn't connote authenticity.

Thought stamping and all that is compulsory, it’s authentic and I managed to removed the code. Thanks a lot

Any bank statements originating from your bank is stamped and can be used, moreover banks don’t issue statements again as they would pacify you to use your mobile app for such request

Please is it a must a bank statement be stamped? The one I generated from internet banking is not stamped. Keystone bank
