The real hardworking British citizens know the system is grossly abused, some of them are bold enough to say it out. I know lots of people getting more money than I do when I work 4 days a week just by working two days a week. These are able people, they just prefer benefits. One of my Brit lecturer once visited Nigeria and amazed how their are more students in class willing to learn than in Britain where there more opportunities for anyone willing to go to school. I told him cuz we pay for our own education cash in hand without loan and we can’t afford to be a failure, he said that explain it. Lexusgs430: Rishi is asking questions, other politicians cannot ask.... It's only the tories, that seem to make attempts to chop the benefits system...... I fully stand with Rishi.....
UK benefits system, is massively and grossly abused.......
Remember IDS bedroom tax and other policies IDS implemented (shame he did not cut deeper).......😁
The government needs to protect professionals, so they don't get bullied into issuing flimsy off work sick passes.......👍 |

By now it won't be only Air Peace ruling the skies, Innoson (Nigeria) motors would have been the government official car, modular refineries would have been licensed, National refineries would have been on the way... Most likely some of us here would have stayed back in Nigeria. But it is what it is... We'll eventually get there. |

US and NATO have been getting involved in the war, wake up maasoap: You sounded like you would have really liked Putin to go after USA or NATO but you are somehow disappointed. As Ukraine is getting supports from NATO member nations, so is Russia also getting supports from Iran and may be few others too. Has USA or NATO or Ukraine gone after Iran? No. Putin made it clear that no country should get involved directly in the war and none of the NATO members has done that so far. And now, he said that if war planes are launched from the third countries, Russia will attack such countries. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia Will Not Attack NATO But F-16s Will Be Shot Down In Ukraine, Putin Says by OgbeniOptional(m): 1:29pm On Mar 28, 2024 |
Exactly, colonization in disguise. helinues:

USA and NATO have already colonized the poor Ukraine. The rebuilding of Ukraine contracts have been awarded to USA contractors and their allies in exchange for natural resources of course.
They led Ukraine Into senseless war, Collect their savings in the name of providing the latest weapons, while no dime was sent in cash , all are in Aids abi na HIV
Now,the rebuilding process which means whoever Ukraine president would be for decade to come, the person must be a puppet to the West.
Btw, Russia vs Ukraine, Israel vs Palestine wars are not coincidence, remember I said everything USA have been sending to trouble countries are all in Aids, heh heh, the contractors who supplied those Aids are USA politicians meaning the war was for the USA politicians to generate money from their reelection.

Bloody coward, Putin is smarter than his Nigerian hypemen. Putin can’t touch any NATO country. He knows this. Una go just sit for your one dey type nonsense. Ask yourself why USA fund important and unimportant degrees of anyone from any part of the world…. They seek and know strength and weakness of anywhere in the world😏 for USA to donate/sell weapons to any country, they have the antidote. USA is a MF country you should never trust their truth. They never go to war to win, war is just a distraction for other things. A crazy country you can’t see finish |

I will be extremely happy if she can get the leave to remain for 30 months, enough to navigate one’s life. Zahra29: If the lady is on a spouse visa, ie.her husband was British, settled etc , then there is a specific application that allows her to apply for ILR as a bereaved partner.
Unfortunately, for dependants where the sponsor was on a points based visa, the home office will consider cancelling leave, although they can also exercise discretion if there are compelling compassionate factors in the case.
There are guidelines, for example the home office must allow a minimum period of one month after the date on which the individual died before they contact any dependants about the case. If they decide to cancel leave they can also exercise discretion to allow longer than the usual 60 days to depart/vary leave.
In this time the woman could explore obtaining sponsorship (although this would understandably be quite challenging for the poor woman to do at this very sad and difficult time) or making a Discretionary Leave to Remain application which is considered for exceptional or compassionate circumstances that are not accommodated in other immigration rules. If granted, it is usually for a period of 30 months after which further leave may or may not be granted depending on the facts of the case. |

Not working together as a couple is worse than living alone. Lexusgs430: That little point (but very important), is causing mayhem in many homes in the UK....
I am not been sexist with this follow through..... But, why do some our ladies feel that, his money is the household's money, whilst her money is none of his business...... 😂😜

I know some men too, get craze for head..... But from my interactions, it's more common amomgst Nigerian women.......
Is it due to the Nigerian follow - come mentality, that the man MUST pay 100% of all the household bills...... 🏃🏃🏃🏃

The occupational code in my trust for Band 3 support worker is 6141, what they are on about is 6145,6146. They are 3 different job roles NewT123: I don’t think so. In the shortage occupation list there is no NHS carer category . Rather, what we have is care assistants and senior care assistant as a category. What I believe is that other occupations in the NHS not under the HCA or senior HCA category are exempted from the new rule |

Wow, thanks for the enlightenment. In summary, this is not affecting HCAs in NHS and private hospitals as those have different occupational code. Thanks for this. ReesheesuKnack: Do you know about something called Occupational Code?
Within the health & care visa, there are different occupational codes. The ‘no dependants ‘ clause only applies to persons in some (not all) occupational codes.
Check the official guidelines to clear your doubt. |

That means it can only apply to people getting into the route newly. Fresh. It doesn’t apply to existing folks, like you. Kenn55: What am I reading? Are you talking about 800k 10 years ago or 800k in today's Nigeria?
Are you talking about building a house in Lagos or other viable cities or building a bungalow in your village? Even if you don't remove 1 penny from your 800k salary in 4 years, it may not even be enough to buy you a land in Lagos in some locations not to talk of building a house. Do you know the present cost of building materials? Have you done a building project recently? So how then can you pay your rent, fuel your car and home etc. on your 800k salary and still build a house in a city from the money in 4 years? You be magician?
It's obvious you are a low income earner, that is why 800k looks big to you, it is not your fault, I understand. Lol, 800k salary is big enough in Nigeria for one person, not many earn up to that in Nigeria and living fine. Lagos is not the only place in Nigeria but then loads of people earning 500k in Lekki and are okay. If you earn more than that then u are lucky, why would bank manager be working in factories in the name of looking for greener pastures when he’s okay back home? He regrets leaving his job back home but he can’t go back cuz of all the money already spent. Again, that’s my personal opinion, experience is not theory man |
