Politics › Re: Statistical Analysis On IREV For Rivers State Presidential Election by OGHENAOGIE(m): 6:48pm On Mar 30, 2023 |
JoshTim: Bursted!!!! Samples have already been determined apriori, so claims that you used a random sample is a lie, you know that.
If you understand statistics so well as you claimed, you will understand that what you just generated is an estimate not the accurate figure.
It's also important to get a representative sample rather than get a sample that is skewed so that your analysis can follow a normal distribution. Else, what you just generated will have standard deviation greater than zero, skewness greater than zero, and kurtosis less than 3 or greater than 3.
I will like to ask the confidence interval for this your result?
What is the standard error?
It is an estimate and we cannot say for sure how accurate your estimate is. I believe your data is skewed to places where peter obi got majority of his votes. allow him like statistics is ever reliable |

There's no balance in this appointment. FG need to show total federalism. Not even 1 Ibo to appease the South East.
I disagree. The FG headed by Buhari massively favoured the north. una go just open mouth waa talk anyhow... Did u see estakor man there? Abi na only Igbo de Nigeria.. ain't there Igbos permanent secretary already...? |

The national working committee should make this decision and communicate it to the public and not the Obi/Datti campaign council. Labour Party will be worse than PDP and APC in terms of internal democracy. I’ve no business with how much they sell their party’s nomination form but they should run the party like a democratic party and not an appendage of the presidential campaign council. they are trying to appeal to the mob... Politics › Re: Votes Cast In All Parts Of Nigeria Are Equal, Abuja Taken As 37th State - Falana by OGHENAOGIE(m): 12:47pm On Mar 27, 2023*. Modified: 1:08pm On Mar 27, 2023 |
onuman: Tinubu through the expert vote rigger Supreme Court governor of Imo state got 25% of votes in Imo state.
Abuja is recognised in the Constitution as Federal Capital Territory, not a State. The characteristics of a Nigerian state is it has a state governor and state legislature. Abuja has neither state governor nor state legislator. The president of Nigeria governs Abuja through the office of the boss of the Federal Capital territory.
The makers of the Constitution want a Nigerian presidential candidate to score 25% of votes of Abuja residents as a prerequisite to be welcome by residents of Abuja that the president governs. Abuja as a state is only in the figments of imagination of whoever calls Abuja a state in order to achieve a devious goal. tinubu no get 25 percent for any Igboland stopp lying... Obi got 77 percent in IMO so how tinubu take get 25 percent for imo?? The entire Igboland Atiku tinubu no see 25 percent but u want to lie here when u guys voted for ur chequered Messiah... |
Politics › Re: Votes Cast In All Parts Of Nigeria Are Equal, Abuja Taken As 37th State - Falana by OGHENAOGIE(m): 11:33am On Mar 27, 2023 |
onuman: Abuja is special because that's where the president lives. Therefore, to be welcome in Abuja, a president is expected to get permission from residents of Abuja through, at least 25% of votes from Abuja residents. That's what the writers of the constitution had in mind when they mentioned the 36 states AND Abuja.
A state has a governor. Abuja has no governor. meaning tinubu can't set foot in Igboland right since he didn't even get 9 percent... See how foolish the argument sounds... |
Politics › Re: Votes Cast In All Parts Of Nigeria Are Equal, Abuja Taken As 37th State - Falana by OGHENAOGIE(m): 11:31am On Mar 27, 2023 |
DeOTR: The Minister acts as the Governor, the National assembly the law makers, the Area councils, local governments. These things have already been explained in several other judgements, but if the oppositions decide to waste their time in court, they're welcome. Section 299 already asked the FCT to be treated as if it's a state of the federation on constitutional matters. Not mentioning the FCT in section 134 would have made it impossible for residents of the FCT to vote, since it's not so called a state, but a later section clears that doubt. As much as I agree that the wordings of that section is ambiguous (I feel further explanations should have sufficed), it's not meant to be misunderstood. the court should come hard on lawyer's raising this argument that ll ensure no one comes up with such rubbish again... |

priceactionx: I hope it will breed a fresh judgement but I doubt it if it will go against APC and the election will be cancelled for a rerun. They will turn the country upside down and politicians will use citizens against themselves which will likely lead to anarchy especially when buhari is out of government. It will still be decided by technicalities imho. Nigeria is so complex. Everyone including the judges are saving their head. The higher numbers of judges might weigh all options and hold on to a fault that might likely favour the ruling party. My submission. Let's see how it goes. anyone holding that argument of 25 percent of fct is just Very stupid no offense wallahi... It's like saying leceister city shouldn't have won EPL then for losing home and away to arsenal meanwhile they got highest point... Tinubu met the two requirements... I want the justice at supreme Court to punish the lawyers dragging this nonsense arguments |
Politics › Re: Votes Cast In All Parts Of Nigeria Are Equal, Abuja Taken As 37th State - Falana by OGHENAOGIE(m): 11:24am On Mar 27, 2023 |
telleyway: It is true that in Nigerian courts, anything can happen. Moreso, cases are mostly not won based on merits but technicalities. However, your analogy here with due respect is off point. Falana was wise by saying there are Court decisions already and that he will not give a specific answer because he knows it can swing any side. One of the court decisions about fct was 2008 instituted by Buhari. The supreme court declared that 25% "AND FCT" shall be treated conjectively, meaning it's a must for you to get 25% in FCT to be president.
Let's see how the crop of supreme court justices will do this time. obidients and mischievousness... Ur obi ll still lose in court |

NothingDoMe: Why? Falana is entitled to his own personal opinion. Like I said in the thread I created, no leading presidential candidate has ever fallen short of the 25%. Tinubu has broken the record.
Even Falana has refused to comment further on it. Let's hear what the supreme court says. Ina go wail tire.. maybe tinubu should hand over to Obi cos he didn't get 25 percent in Igboland too... When supreme Court finally settle the case I know say na Insult Ina go Insult supreme Court Justices... |
