I maybe wrong, but it seems like most of the crimes in Nigeria are committed by policemen or criminals associated with policemen.

kingoflag: lol. y'all really think she cares or takes this real serious like Dendemoron1 or OnlytellsUnbelievableLies. Two useless old men that actually take an anonymous online forum more serious than their real lives. Only the good lord knows what time they have to take care of their families... Most likely their families have abandoned them that's why they always come online to find solace and interact with people in order to avoid their otherwise miserable existence.

She does care because she has responded look up my friend.

Politics / Re: Valedictory Speech By The Outgoing Eze Ndigbo (onlytruth) by OgidiBoy(m): 5:53am On Nov 09, 2012
ODUA_NEGRO: Onlytruth,

Good stewardship and accountability. I like your report and I have questionsfor you on many of the assigments you reported on. These questions will no doubt create second guesses on your leadership and so in saving grace I will restrain myself from starting a revolt. I do want to comment that this your report is an insult to Nairaland.

I say this because you as the leader of ndigbos in NL demonstrated, even online, the same set of principles and spirit that leaders of alaigbo use to discriminate against their own sons and daughters of the osu outcast. You created a separate and hidden agenda forum from which to pursue your online interests in NL. That's reasonable, in fact I cant understand that you only just started that last year....but the criteria for inclusion is selective and angled against igbo osus. You only accept certain class of Igbos. What a shame!! You must repair that going forward.

Another observation I made is the judgement behind the report itself. If I were you I would circulate it in igbo language. The whole point of creating ENYI is to keep the nonIgbos from your business. So why bring the report of that business back to share with them in a language they can read and undrstand? You should have either not given a Nairaland report of what you did in ENYI or if you must report it in nl, then it should have been a for-your-eyes-only distribution to ndigbos.

Anyway, Congrats on your term . : wink

Not fair, not every Igbo person knows how to read or write in Igbo, some of use grew up in the north and never knew how to read or write Igbo.

I commend you'll for what you'll trying to do here, I can only imagine how difficult it's been for the members of the electoral committee. I can only

hope and pray our Igbo brothers and sisters don't engage with some that will be here later to derail this thread.

I don't want to be the first to voice my complaint about the previous election, so I'll just go sit in the back and wait for the elders to talk first

before I say what's on my mind.
Politics / Re: ***Impeach Ezenwanyi Elect, Ogugua88. Unfit To Lead.*** by OgidiBoy(m): 1:40am On Nov 08, 2012
@pointB. this is all your fault, if you had set up the electoral committee to look into the election of Ogugua88 as the Ezenwanyi, threads like this

would not be popping up.

I'm sure the moderators didn't know this thread was created just to bash Ironsi and to start another Igbo vs Yoruba nonsense. I'm sure the moderators

don't know that if the but this on the front page of NL the thread would generate more traffic to the thread.

And you wonder why NL is just a hangout for bigots.

ujchief:
I take this as a formal appeal against the candidacy of one of the contestants. I'v reviewed the case presented by mr. Globe against a contestant for eze nwanyi. Although he has a valid case as stipulated in a section of the election guidline, it lacks merit.
Let me refer to the case Onyema Ugochukwu (PDP, Abia) vs T.A. Orji (PPA, Abia). After the 2007 gubernetorial election, when orji had been declared winner, Onyema challanged the candidacy of T.a orji based on the fact that he (orji) did not resign his previous apointment as the state's chief of staff under the previous administration. The election tribunal based its judgement on this true fact and nullified orji's election, declaring Onyema winner.
Upon appeal by Orji, the appealant court made it clear that Onyema should have filed against orji's candidacy b4 the election, not after the election. Based on this, the appealant court over-ruled the tribunal and
My verdict: you should have challanged the candidacy of the contestant at the nomination thread, not at this election thread. Its true u claimed u werent aware of such quotes by her except when someone else brought them up, but ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
Therefore, Ogugua remains a bonafide contestant, and all votes for her remains valid.
Mr. Globe, u're a good nwa afo igbo, and i urge u to maintain ur vigilant eye on any person or group of persons that may not mean well for the unity of umu igbo.
This is my verdit. Other members of the tribunal can make their submission and/or stand by this.

I also had a discussion with pointB about this last night, so this means that even if i bring my patition in front of the Electoral Commission

after the elections I will lose, I may just hire an attorney.

@pointB,

I know it's not normally done, but I figure I ask anyways. I'm having voters remorse, I voted for onlytruth for Eze and I still think his the better

candidate, it's my vote for Ogugua that I'm not so sure about. I just can't see myself voting for an Igbo person in this day and age advocating for

one Nigeria. We've lost so many of our loved ones in the North to still be thinking we part of the cesspool called Nigeria.

I must have missed all the campaigning and debates between the candidates sad

Anyways I think onlytruth did a good job last year, so I say we give him another chance, his got my vote.

I don't know any of the ladies, but I've read a few of Ogugua's post and she sounds pretty smart so she's got my vote too .
