That photographer must be a rapist or a potential rapist and must be arrested at once. Psychos like that must never be allowed to mingle with normal people
The way he said it was wrong but how come non of you condemn indecent dressing in our society.
indecent dressing is like someone who put money on his car dashboard with the windows down in a public place. the person that will eventually collect (or thief) the money may not even be an established thief. the whole tin get as e be if you say make we follow the matter reach ground. this has noting to do with self control pls.

How and why would Osaze think to situate a hotel as a retirement investment on Erediauwa or anywhere outside of the G.R.A in Benin.

Everyone needs to get financially literate. I did this course and forever glad I did.
The hotel is not a retirement investment. he built it and gave it to his relatives to manage and take care of themselves. it's a one story building with a very small car park. I have been there a few times. the place does not befit the status of osaze in any way.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi: Wike Is Benefitting From His Political Misjudgments- Abe by ogmask: 7:16am On Feb 18, 2019
tesppidd:
This issue has gone on and on and on.

Both men couldn't put pride aside and work for the party.

Abe is equally guilty.

I have not seen that politician in Rivers, and in Nigeria at large who doesn't try to impose his successor.

Wike and his supporters have mouth to talk and accuse Amaechi of imposition and godfatherism.

1.Last year's local government elections; Wike handpicked 99 percent of the chairmen in the 23 LGA's.

2.The 2019 PDP primaries for assembly, reps and senate; Wike handpicked 99 percent of the candidates contesting from next week.

3.By 2023 Wike will handpick his successor.

So Amaechi is not doing anything extraordinary.

Sometimes when consensus is done, the leader of the party most times has the biggest say.

What we now have is a Magnus Abe who now feels very big; as big as Amaechi. And cannot be dictated to.

Abe should be more humble in dealing with a man who is bigger than him politically.

APC has got 2 senators and some legislative seats and political appointments because Amaechi singlehandedly made it so.

Yes it is true that someone like Odilli made Amaechi and Amaechi cannot be seen haggling words with Odilli in the media.
This is between Abe, Wike and Amaechi; and in-between the 3 of them, they have benefited more from Amaechi in terms of political patronage.

Abe and Wike cannot fool everybody, they can only fool some.

We know the role that Wike played when the problem between Amaechi and Abe was just beginning with that very first judgement.
Your type is rare on this forum. nothing can be truer than the truth. too many overfed babies who know little or nothing about Rivers politics here. Thanks for this truth you wrote up there.

PoliticsRe: BREAKING NEWS! Election Results Out In Abia State by ogmask: 11:38am On Feb 16, 2019
Thumb printing has been going on in Abia govt house for days now. Infact it has been on in almost all the south south and south east states. while in the north, pple were offered 10k to thumb print for APC. I laugh sometimes when pple call one party a rigging party. reality is all man dey hold him stronghold.
card readers dey most govt houses as we speak. both APC and PDP. I an only say whoever wins has more genuine supporters in addition to rigging.
Las Las we nor need all this crap. this democracy is not working and will never work. I stand for military take over that will usher us into a true democracy. if you feel me say.

livelymatilda22:
Did you noticed that one of them asked for the exact month the election will be conducted?

If it was stated then that the election will be postponed after 6 days, why will be be asking for the exact month?

Like the guy said, he didn't doubt that he said the election will be postponed.. He is only concerned the the topic was edited to show "6 days"
This is a very clear statement. he said the election will be held after 6 days. this means 1 week after 16th of February which was the original date. if it was going to hold in another month he wouldn't have said after 6 days.

Buhari was right about the "Lazy Nigerian youths" comment.
God!!!. who do us dis thing. see dem jump into conclusion just like that.
I think the yoots supporting atiku are the real zombies if you ask me. How on earth can you believe such things. this is a very good reason why the "lazy yoot" tag can't go away in a hurry.

Of course! And the more you look at it, the more pissed you get.

So, long as there are people benefiting from the effects of terrorism, we'd never see its end. The heavy budget allocation to security makes this succinctly clear.
Absolutely. ..

Very apt bro!

The era of slavery really did a lot of irreversible damage to our pride and psyche in general. Else what can really explain our willful submission to those manipulative imperialists?
it's funny really. they sell us guns and tanks to kill ourselves and set up a court in the Hague to try us for war crimes. they set up the United Nations that is more interested in who heads a govt of a sovereign nation than one which will prevent the war from happening thru equity and justice.
ever wondered what this world will look like without war and terrorism? that's not what they want. they need a reason to remain relevant and continue in their master slave relationship. funny, really funny..

Absolutely!!

I even suggested we have an atheist president, you could have imagined their reactions.

But, thinking about it, I don't think we have enough to repel foreign interference since we're at the moment indebted to them.

If it's in their interest that we practice democracy, I'm not sure we can withstand their pressure.
True talk bro.
It's a bit complicated really. I believe it's also in their best interest that we remain the way we are. Very selective and oppressive pple from the west. They condemn gaddafi for running an autocratic (stable) govt but embrace Saudi Arabia who does same, even worse. They want Asad out but pamper the likes of Paul biya to continue because he is their puppet. It's really complicated. Let's hope that with emerging power blocks like China and Russia, someone will rise someday and call their bluff. I stand with you on the atheist personality. Too much hypocrisy. ..

With time it will start making sense to them. Let's wait and see how it will all pan out in a few years to come.
The decay is deep. We must tell ourselves the truth. We have passed the level were a written set of rules will straighten our paths. What we need now is someone who will deliberately and purposefully hold everyone to account for their actions and inactions. One who does not know tribe, religion and region. To move this nation forward we need a man that is blind to our pettiness and trivial disposition.

The best candidates were this evening on # ThePeoplesDebate ,
but the truth remains that no matter how salutary, ambitious,
poignant, effulgent and clearcut your ideas may be, they are
unachievable with our present structure and with the 1999
constitution.
Even world's best leaders like Lee Kuan Yew, Barrack Obama
and Thomas Sankara put together, will fail woefully in Nigeria
with our current atavistic structure.
Nigeria has a structural problem which must be solved
structurally.
# Mycountry
For me., sometimes, I tend to give the constitution a breather. I think it's a people's thing. There's no constition that will change a civil servants penchant for corruption or restrain a vastly illiterate society from ass-licking a (thieving ) politician. Nigeria has passed that stage a long time ago. We are too divided in our opinions that as long as the constitution is written by a man we (lawyers and all) will find a way around it.
What we need at this point is self restrain and purposeful leadership.
By Self restraint, I mean telling ourselves the truth as a people. There's a big followership problem in this country. As for leadership, we must be careful what we wish for. I feel very strongly that no civilian (constitutional ) govt can navigate us out of this mess. We need a conservative dictator to set things in the right direction. One who will initiate a new pples constitution.
This may sound funny but, look closely and you will see the point in it.

It will interest you to note that 93% of the proceeds from those ports goes to the federal govt/fulani caliphate. Even if the ports are reversed down south , lagos will still serve the vast majority. The port at Onne (Igweocha) is up and running bit the igbos expecially, prefer lagos.

Let's see if he, Wike , will not support his successor (errand boy) to take over from him. He should also watch out for the banana peel Odili and amaechi stepped on after office.

A few days ago an Agofure bus was attacked, Driver killed and passengers abducted. Now this. Truth be told, Wike dismantled all the security apparatus amaechi put in place for reasons best known to him. It's on record that amaechi chased these criminals down into the creeks and Rivers State became peaceful. If you lived in rivers state during that period you should know what am talking about.

What is it about being a girl and not being a girl. Noticed how she carefully mentioned her being " a young lady" several times in her letter.

From her letter, I feel she exaggerated the whole thing considering that she said her ex was abusive.
