What appears to be unpleasant surprise to the people of Ozoro Kingdom in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State occurred recently when a lunatic beheaded another lunatic. It all took place in Ozoro Market, which the madam beheaded a madwoman, even as the madman was holding the head of the beheaded madwoman at the time policemen arrested him.

According to the polcemen, there was information that one Udumubra Sunday Omekudo was seen with a fresh human head; and “our information later revealed that this very man who was seen with a fresh human head claimed to be a lunatic. The man was later arrested and sent to a state Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Asaba.

There he was believed to be a lunatic and later brought back to Ozoro before he gave up the gost”.
The father of the killer lunatic was cornered and he bares his mind.

What could you have made your son behead the lunatic woman?
I don’t know what happened because i was not there when my son beheaded the lunatic woman; but my son is also a lunatic. It was through this incident that occurred I was informed that this very my son wanted to kill his elder brother at Bayelsa, but he was unable.

They did not react because my son who beheaded their daughter is dead because of the serious beating that the people who saw him gave him before the policemen came to his rescue . I had to go the police station for them to give us a writing note to the martuary before the deceeased was released for us.

Civil Engineer Arrested by Police in Failed Ritual Business

A repatriated Nigerian, Ehigie Omenai who hails from Esan Edo state had kidnapped two children inncluding his eigth years old niece Blessing Omenai for use in money making business is now cooling his heels in the police cell.

Elugie Omenai 26, who holds a diploma in civil engineering from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma had embark on traveling to Spain through Morocco for Golden fleece but was repatriated. since then life have not been easy with him. He decided to go for quick money and approached a herbalist, Chief Robert Okoloise who happenes to be the chairman of the traditional medicine body in the area.
On the fateful day, Ehigie tricked his elder brothers Blessings and another five years old daughter called Joy out of their home on the guise that he is going to buy food for them in the canteen. But he took them to the herbalist house for the ritual. The herbalist who had earlier alert the police over the deal from their previous meet planted detectives around posing as clients too.
The unsuspecting Ehigie later came back to the herbalist to complete the quick money making deal. The native doctor made him to disclose his mission in the presence of the detective who promptly arrested him.
The Police PRO Edo state, ASP Ogboi, who paraded the suspect before newsmen commended the herbalist Chief Okoloise for a job well done who draw some morals from this thus: Never leave children alone in hands of mischievous people whether they are relatives or not and we should warn our children to learn that all that glitters is not gold- see how the children were tricked from home to the zone of death.
Meanwhile Ehigie is now a contrite person. Said He. "I feel very sad and ashamed of myself. I pray that God will help me get over this problem so that I will go and win souls for Christ", he concluded remorsely

Occupants of No. 10 Erolo Street Ijegun Egba, A Shanty community in satellite town, Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, were recently in a state of confusion when tow cousins, Edwin Ifoghale Eroveno (39) and Maxwell Enakeno Uhwe engaged selves with bitter trade of words, which eventually saw the former (Eroveno) being bathed with raw acid to death. Eroveno, who had left home with his Danfo bus on the fateful day morning, met his untimely death at about 9.07pm, on entering the compound.
The suspect, Ugwe, is a second paternal cousin to the deceased (Eroveno), and a 300 level accounting student of University of Benin (UNIBEN)
Trouble started when the deceased married precious Uyoyou Unwe, a former girlfriend of Ugwe (suspect) under duress from her father in the village Iyede Ame in Ndokwa East Local Govt. Area of Delta State, where they all hail from.
The Late Eroveno, who until his death was a staff of Flour Mill Plc., did his traditional , Church and court marriage with the said Precious.
Before the marriage, Precious was dating the suspecting both of them had taken blood oath, promising only death could do them apart.
We gathered that despite Precious wedding with Eroveno, she had always seen him as a stranger to her and had been resisting his attempts to sleep with her.
Precious vowed to stab herself to death the day Eroveno would sleep with her because according to her Eroveno is a stranger.” Eroveno also let Precious go proved abortive, as precious eventually took in for him and gave birth to a baby boy, Misheal,
Adding that Uwge (suspect) Vowed as well not to let Precious go even in the face of having put to bed for Eroveno.
Adding that Uwge had been looking around the compound until the fateful day he succeeded in bathing the deceased with the raw Acid.
Mrs Veronica Oneke, A Co-tenant of Eroveno narrated how they (neighbours) rushed him to the near-by Naval Hospital before they were later referred to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idi-Araba, were he eventually kick the bucket the following day.
The suspect is on the run for fear of being arrested by the police; while the wife, almighty Precious, has been arrested by the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Panti, and released as at press time.

A man simply identified as ORANU, has chopped off two fingers of his sisters following disagreement over domestic chores.
The incident happened in Eziehulu Village, Awuda, Nnobi in Idemili South Local Govt. Area of Anambra state. Oranu also Allegedly attacked another Sister's of his over the same incident.

trouble started when he was asked by his sister to fetch water into the tank in preparation for the impending wedding of one of their sisters named Rose.
Apart from refusing to carry out the function, the man picked a quarrel with his sister and went for a machete to her.
The victims fingers were chopped off as she tried to defend herself from being hit on the head. The other sister, who came to recuse her was also attacked but for the intervention of neighbours who have suffered the same fate."When Oranu brought a cutlass, I raise the alarm and went to defend my sister. He threatened to kill her. I went in between them. but he hit me with the blade of the cutlass, and as i refused to allow him to perform the evil act, He cut my fingers instead," Rose said amidst tears.
Meanwhile, Oranu had said to be arrested by the Police.

A Landlord, Patrick Emeka Onukafor, 50, Has been arrested by the police at Ago Palace, Okota, Lagos, and charged before the Cele Magistrate's Court for conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.


He was accused by his tenant, Edith Ndu of an attempt to eject her from the 3 bedroom flat she occupied at 1, havana street, Ago-Okota, by dropping a live snake in her flat.
Apart from dropping the snake, she also accused him of recruiting thugs and fake policemen to intimidate her, even though she didn't owe him.
She reported the matter to the police and the landlord was arrested. In his statement to the police, the Landlord said that the tenant owe him one (1) year rent and she refuse to park out of the house.
He admitted dropping a live snake in her apartment to force her out, but Denied hiring thugs and fake Policemen to kill the women, as she claim.
