Never knew ‘Ekwensu’ was the name for the god of war in Igbo tradition. Always heard it being used to refer to the devil. And the act of turning our gods and deities to mean something evil, demonic or whatever by white men was a very common practice in almost all African societies that the so called missionaries set foot.
