So, what makes the photos godly?? Cos I am confused.
Is it because they took some of the pictures in Church? Or because they are 'staunch' catholics? Or because they are not kissing?
Cos none of this makes it godly. Go and read your Bible jare. |

LaaJiblik: Another factor to consider is how close is the house to; 1. Tube station 2. High street.
Are there buse routes nearby? How far is the house to a nightbus route? Or a 24hour bus route. ALL these things are usually taken into consideration.
£930pcm for a 1 bed in zone 4 MAY be a bit pricey, but I would also think it's a fair price. Is that zone 4 location served by the Underground? The DLR? Or the Overground? It's 5 mins to underground, and a major high street. Three different bus stops are 5 minutes away. Served by an underground alone. The flat has a communal area downstairs, a seperate general reading room for students, a seperate library. All bills are included except for electricity, and it comes fully furnished with kitchen utensils as well. |

Ellizle: I would give you my opinion cos have lived around most zones. The price you stated for zone 4 is a bit high especially if it's excluding bills. (Take that into consideration as it's important). You should get a good two bed flat for about 950 - 1400. And a bed flat for around 600 - 800. Please do good research. Bills are included except electricity. The place also provides a seperate reading room for students, access to library, 5 minutes walk from underground, and a communal area downstairs |

LaaJiblik: Hello: As a Typical Nigeria, let me attempt to answer your question with Questions: 1. Where exactly is the location of the school? London is "divided" into Travel Zones (Zones 1 - 9). The closer you are to zone 1, the more expensive. 2. What kind of house would you like?
With a child, you definitely cannot live in a flat share, therefore, www.spareroom.com will not likely solve your problem. To have a general idea, you may wish to "ASK GOOGLE".
www.rightmove.com may help. www.gumtree.com may help.
but...GOOGLE is your friend.
A 1-Bed in Zone 2 is around £1350 upwards, depending on location and also how close the house is, to a tube (train) station. Thank you for your response. I hope I not going out of the thread's discussion in continuing this post. But the people here seem quite knowledgeable of life in the UK. I got an offer for a 1 bed flat in zone 4 for about 930 pcm with bills excluding electricity. Felt it was pricey? Am I in line or there are better deals to work with? |

Politics › My Questions On Biafra by oieda(op): 2:54pm On Jul 19, 2017*. Modified: 4:11pm On Jul 19, 2017 |
So I recently saw a Nairaland post about MASSOB requesting all Igbo people in the North to return to the east in August, 2017, in time for the October deadline given by the Arewa youth. Igbos in the North were urged to return for safety reasons. Igbo wives were asked to begin to urge their husbands to return.
All these raised a lot of thoughts within me.
First of all, let me categorically state that with regard the Biafra issue, my statements have put me on the fence.
I am also a Nigerian and my state of origin is Nigeria. If you try to make a guess of my state of origin, you have automatically put yourself in a situation where you are hugging transformer. So, here goes my thoughts:
- is MASSOB preparing accommodation and jobs for their Igbo brethren to come and take up? As in where are they leaving the North to go to live exactly? They should come and sleep outside? Or come and open business to compete with their brothers?
- Okay, their wives who should compel their husbands, how about their non-igbo husbands? Are they welcomed to Biafra, especially if they are Northerners. . .
- Is there are clear, open, publicly state plan for the Republic of Biafra? Where is a constitution, nature of government, 5 year plan of rule, who will become president if Biafra becomes a state? Kanu? For how long? Underwhat type of government?
- How will the state generate revenue? How will there relationship with neighboring countries be? Countries like Nigeria that they are currently calling a Zoo; a statement no other country in the world has uttered, is it given them proper inter-country relationships?
- Are non-igbos welcomed to join the return band-wagon to the east in August, or even the agitation? Will non-igbos in the east be sent away and/or marginalised now and if the state of Biafra actualised?
- I shall add more as they come . . .
My thoughts. . .
UPDATE I do not mean to raise an hateful ideas here but no one is answering any of my questions from the comments below, apart from "when we get there we will figure it out". I am not asking the people who are moving to answer me how they will work it out. I am asking if anyone has any reference to what the current probiafra and MASSOB leaders have hinted on saying concerning these. Igbos will survive, no matter the situation and environment, no problem. But the people asking you to leave, what have they said concerning these thoughts. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Who Are The 3 Best Teachers Of The Scripture In Nigeria? by oieda: 3:43pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
Bekwarra: Nigeria's obviously large Christian community is among the most devoted in the world. There are hundreds of Christian denominations in Nigeria both Orthodox and pentecostal. We have scores of christian teachers both living and dead that have put their footprints on the sands of time. They have demonstrated an in depth knowledge of the scripture and have also shown this time and over with their effortless and expert teaching of the Bible making them highly referred home and abroad. For me, these are the top 3 teachers of the WORD.
1. Pastor WF Kumuyi 2. Bro Gbile Akanni 3 Pastor EA Adeboye
Do you agree with me? Do you have a different opinion? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. Happy Palm Sunday to you all. OP if you truly understand the place of these men you present, you will know that the term 'best' is insignificant. There is no best!!! These men, as we all, have been called to run their cause and destiny by themselves. Comparing them kind of shows a lack of understanding just as comparing one's self with another. |

figel: The introduction letter is to introduce your wife. The content should include when and where you guys got married, prove that your marriage is subsisting and continuing. It basically depends on your situation. Its just a letter to explain your relationship with your wife and also explain the documents you are attaching to the application package like wedding pictures, naming ceremony pictures since you have a child, other pictures to show that your relationship is genuine, birth certificate of your child, etc.
As for the invitation letter, introduce yourself by stating you name, school and passport no. It should state your wife's name and her passport no. and that you want her to join you in the UK for the reminder of your study. You should also include that you are going to sponsor her throughout her stay in the UK if the money is in your account. You state where you live and that she would be living there with you. If where you live is not suitable for a married couple, include in the letter that as soon as her entry permit is granted, you will arrange suitable accommodation.
Hope this helps...best of luck Yes it was. Thank you! Just one other question: what is the monetary requirement that I need to have in the bank for 28 days? My wife and daughter will be coming over. Thanks again. |

TV01: Can one who claims to follow a religion without being convinced of it's tenets be anything ore than a mere dilettante? To me, a faith this is not fully embraced in part or in whole should be discarded in whole. If you say you are and you don't believe, then you are not.
Marriage is for life, till death do part - and there is no divorce for a consummated marriage - or re-marriage while a first spouse is still alive.
TV It seems you do not get the point of the last post I made to you. Let me put it another way. So you are saying you follow to the letter, every single instruction given by the teachings of your religion? Without fault? If yes, then I may say this post I quoted is valid. Else, what you believe is different from what your religion says in that area you have fault. What you believe in and what you do is very connected. |

TV01: How can one separate "personal belief" from sincerely held "religious belief"? For me they are one, so I'll pass.
TV What I mean by that is, I do not want you to quote what your religion says. Because a lot of people just follow. What are you convinced about. If the views of the religion you adopt and your personal views are same, fine, but you never stated it - the view. |

When I keep money for visa applications up to 28 days (by the requirement) can I then use out of it for my visa fees or it must remain in tact during the period of the application?
