House,abeg,i am writing on behalf of one of my guy who wants to apply for masters in Biochemistry in the USA,He wants a cheap school but he has a low Gre scores of 940 and a GPA of 2.7(WES evaluation).Which school do you think he can apply to?I will so much be happy if anyone can give me the list of the schools in the USA.For those that got their visa today,i am happy for you.please,remember those of us going for interview later in your prayers.

@ Pickito,you will need your transcript,my school didnt give me my own by hand but i was lucky i have the WES Evaluation,dat is what i am planning to use and i hope they will see reasons with me.

@ Chiazogom,i would have helped but i am not so sure since i have not gone for interview before,i think some people go to the embassy with scratch cards but a friend of mine who went to the embassy last week was told to go back to go bring his WAEC Cert before collecting his visa,I have heard also in this thread where some people say they go with scratch card but didnt know what the aftermath result is.I would have been of help i truly know this.Anyway,i am presenting Neco Cert.I think the House gurus will find an answer to this,Just be patient and go over this thread from page 1 again.I wish you the very best of luck in your interview.

@ Sulaiman,didnt u research d school wel b4 applying?Other housemates could have an answer as im ignorant of transfering stuff.d mst important is dat u have gotten ur visa.

@ pickito,neva in your life try to use that account of 3million,your schl tuition and expenses of $26k is far well above 3m.The consular wouldnt just waste time when he sees you statement,he will just tell you insufficient funds and that means outright denial,i pray dat wont happen to u.Don't u knw what your mates do when it comes to statement of account issue,U no be Naija boy?Dont 4get d embassy doesnt verify statement of acct,Wisen up guy and do al perfectly.

@ bomly,i think the Embassy will require hard copy,why not order for a hard copy straight away instead of dicing with goin with the internet print out,Anyway,i wouldnt know if the internet copy u printed would work but i think the Gurus in d house can tell u more and NO,U cant fill two forms,that may disqualify u.Why do u like gambling?lol.

@ Olule,y do u have to feel Seme as your address?didnt u fill the western union form urself?anyway,there is a wayout,go online to www.fmjfee.com and track the status of your payment there.if u are lucky they have nt sent d hard copy,u can call them or email them for the change in address.You will find their contact info on the site.You have to do that quickly,i paid mine last week tuesday @ seme and printed the receipt online on friday.I was even suprised when DHL brought the hard copy this afternoon as i wasnt even expecting it.So go online now bobo.

@ Picckito,yes,u can use the July Statement,Concerning your interview,print out the online receipt and take it along with you to the embassy.If you insist on having the hard copy,it takes a maximum of 10days to get down here,at times u cn get it within 6-8 days.Since your interview is 25th August,u have enuf time even if u are getting it after 2weeks,the USA has a predictable system.So,u get it at the appointed time.I also have the online receipt too and my interview is 24th August.In a nutshell,the online receipt will do.Do u have any other questions?We have alot of gurus here who will answer your questions.

I went to pay my SEVIS fees @ d Seme border 2day,The bank collected $272 thou in their local currency,i paid and was given the tracking.I was tired,so i branched at a joint to take 2 bottles of stout and Chicken, lol, Frm Mile 2 to d border is N600,a bike 2 Ecobank is N150,i was stopped along the way and paid N2,500 to the immigration guys.On my way back,i paid d same N150 for okada bck to d border and N300 back to Mile 2,That was all.I think this info will be helpful for those who will be paying the fees soonest.@refinedman,thanx 4 d descriptn and aw did d interview go?

The Gurus,thanx for the description.I will soon be leaving for Lagos.However,i have another question,My dad is my sponsor and his statement of acct is what i sent to the school for I-20,but after a careful review of my I-20,i found out that they wrote my means of support as "Students personal funds" i was thinking it should be parents since i am not sponsoring myself.House,what do you think i can do.Do you think its right?

I live in Ondo an going to Cotonu tomorrow morning to pa my Sevisfees,When i get to Ojota,what is the description to Mile 2?How much is the transpot fare from Ojota to Mile 2,from Mile 2 to Cotonu and finally,what is the Eco bank charges,House,i am really waiting for your quick answers oooo.To all who got their Visas today,i say CONGRATULATIONS.

@ djunit1,i am reali veri sori,aw cud u lost dat important doc.Anyway,u cud delay your appointment till 8.30am and pay in the bank and rush immediately to the embassy,you can frame up a lie if asked why you just paid.Anyway,i pray that works,the consulars are human beings and they will reason with you.You could lie someone snatched the purse u kept the receipt.Above all Pray.Do u know an interview sometimes slated for 7.30am atimes doesnt start till 10am.I advise you keep searching for the lost receipt.Good Luck.

Hello House,my former institution refused to give me my transcript saying they can only send it to the embassy.Though,i have a copy of my WES evaluated,Gurus,will the embassy accept that?

State Uni. for a master's in geology,when i sent my dad statement of acct for I-20,the statement reads 23m,in d I-20,it is stated there that i have 23million available to me,bt my interview is next month n the statement i wl show d consular is 10m,i hope they wont question that?(2).My dad will be sponsoring me,he owns a cmpany which i am one of d shareholders and registerd with the C.A.C,in my biodata,dat is where i mentiond i am wrkin,wil d consular ask for my salary acct there as i have none,i am planin 2 tel d consular i am on study leave,wt docs can i shw him n 2 shw we have a cmpany?(3).In 2009,i applied to Uni. Of  maryland bt was denied admisn n later UMUC where i applied for MBA,bt didnt folow dt UMUC up.i hpe they wont ask my incostitency dat i applied for geology in d first n bus. Adm in d 2nd?or shud i jst tel hm abt uni of maryland n Cal. State Uni?if i tel hm this,wnt they ask why it took me so long to reapply after being denied admisn in 2009.Thou i am planin to tel them i went into politics briefly while also working with my dad in 2009(showing them my party card n also telling them i am planning to contest when i cme bc hence joining politics at this time.,will this work out?(4).Can i present my NECO Certificate and wt other docs do u advise i take along.Gurus,pls i nid ur advice so i wont make a costly mistake?
