@ Elpeida,i have discussed this over time with the Graduate Coordinator.She told me no form of assistanships for now,anyway,i dont know what to do cos i cant just spend millions up there and no other stipends frm one side.Another thing they said was that they offer a quarter system.Can u pls explain to me how that affects a job?

@ Elpieda,my friend wants an admission to a US university for M.sc Biochemistry.He has a low GRE of 940 and CGPA of 2.71 on a scale of 4(as evaluated by WES).What do you think are his chances and what Universities do you suggest?Thanks.

God is my strength,i am fully prepared,all i need now are your prayers.I am definitely sure 24th of August will definitely be my day.I am finally resolving not to use the TOEFL and tell the consular it was waived for me.It is stated on my I-20 that it has been waived.So,i think i will follow my I-20.God,i am in your hands

Lest i forget house,Myschool waived the TOEFL Exams for me but i sat for the exam last year and scored 76 which i think s a low score,Can i show the consulars this or just keep it to myself since it was waived for me but i dont want them to denyme cos i didnt write the TOEFL.What should i do?

@GOD PIKIN,You are right.I just believe God is the author and finisher,never meant anything though,Only a school gave me admission but i have a letter from Uni of Maryland stating they wont be able to give me admission stating there are a lot of applicants.I think that should do.As per the appointment letter and passport,thanks for reminding me.

4.Bar coded Confirmation letter.
5.Admission Letter from the university.
6.Acceptance letter from the department.
7.Form I-2O.
8.SEVIS fees Receipt.
9.GRE Scores Report,(the school exempted TOEFL).
10.Employment letter from my dad's company.
11.Study leave letter from the company.
12.Sponsorship letter from My father with sworn affidavit.
13.Certificate of incorporation of his company with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
14.His statement of account of N23million.
15.My NECO Certificate.
16.My degree Certificate.
17.My WES evaluated transcript.
18.Nigeria Association of Petroleum Explorationist Certificate where i am a student member.
19.GOD.
Those are all the docs i have with me,all advices,suggestions are welcome.

@pickito,i'l advice u prepare for both dates as we neva can tel which wil work.Infact,i dnt expct u to gamble at this stage at all.I rest my Case.

Is the GPA On a scale of 5.0 Nigeria scale or has your GPA been evaluated by an evaluating agency by WES?If your GPA is 2.4(Nigeria).Then its U.S equivalence should be 2.6 or 2.7.You should be able to find schools that accept that.And no,thats not the en the road.All u need do is search the internet through google,braintrack,peterson etc.At worst,if admitted,they may ask you to take some courses to cover up.Bruv,u dnt expect us here to do all those searches for you bt i have given u a clue.I am also aware relevant experiences works for journalism.Gud luck.

House,i am in a serious trouble now,i was planning to use my NECO Result for visa interview before until when the gurus here adviced me to use the WAEC Certificate.I also want to follow the gurus advice cos i havent seen or heard anybody here who has used the NECO Cert for interview.I rushed to my former school to request for my WAEC Certificate(I didnt collect it before cos i wrote a NECO in 2000 which i have been using the resut).On collecting the WAEC Certificate,i discovered an error in my date of birth,it read 1980 instead of 1986,i was so down on sighting this.House,please advice me on what to do as my interview is 24th in Abuja.
