Bauchi the sucker punch on PDP.. Buhari has already won, change is here. |

SaharaReporters is confidently projecting Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of last weekend’s presidential election based on collated poll results from 95 percent of Nigeria’s polling units. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will resume the official release of the poll figures at 10 a.m. Nigerian time today, with Mr.Jega. Nigerian time today, with Mr. Buhari all but certain to be declared the president-elect. INEC suspended the official release of the state-by-state vote counts for the keenly contested presidential election. However, with only five percent of votes remaining to be added up, our figures indicate that Mr. Buhari is leading incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan by more than two million votes. In addition, the APC candidate has secured at least twenty-five percent of votes cast in two-thirds of Nigeria’s 36 states. Mr. Buhari has so far won 14,855,820 million votes, with Mr. Jonathan trailing him with 12,107,628 million. Our analysis, based on collated votes that were already announced in different states, shows that there is no statistical pathway open to Mr. Jonathan to surmount his vote deficit with very few polling units left to account for. INEC’s formal declaration of Mr. Buhari as the winner of the presidential election will represent a historic moment in Nigeria’s history, being the first time that an opposition candidate would unseat an incumbent head of government at the federal level. Another historic aspect is the fact that Mr. Buhari finally triumphed on his fifth run as a presidential candidate of one of Nigeria’s parties. From the U.S, we the Nigerians in Diaspora Congratulates our incoming President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari for his outstanding victory in these recent election. God bless all well meaning Nigerians and the change agents on Nairaland who worked so hard on behalf of the General and other well meaning Nigerians. |

I'm Happy for The General - Love from Syracuse, New York - United States. We are in support of your Government Sir, God keep you strong for the next two terms. |
1toRtoiSe1:I PM'ed you from TX |
Protest for what? I live in the United States and I pray to God Jonathan's Govt is kicked out. His administration foreign policy has compounded our woes rather than make life easy and fun, you loose your Nigerian Passport by accident. The embassy staff would demand you pay $370.00 for penalty fee for your lost passport, while you have a verified U.S Police report to show proof of the incidence. There is no time the Nigeria Embassy would or can be of help to you in North America, so who are the people protesting? I'M Waffarian, from the Niger Delta region. Let the people who are protesting show their faces here or forever delete this thread @OP. |
Thank you BRF, that was a great presentation Sir. I hope Change comes to our father land Nigeria come March 28th. |
talktimi:What is wrong with what Fashola said? Let's debate. |
The APC or GMB Team won squarely. @AyeDee or Muhtar whatever his real name is, just disgraced PDP. I'm from Niger Delta, but I clearly support the change Nigeria is clamoring for. Enough of mediocrity and lacadastical attitude of our civil servants and elected officers whom has taken this Nation for granted for so long. This is a debate of life... Peace all |
VolvoS60:@Volvo, I would like to get in touch, can you please send me an email directly? My email is on my profile |
From Al-ameen Haroun on Facebook. Don't be manipulated. If your religious leader says don't vote for a Muslim, ask him if Daniel served a saint; whether Modeccai did not serve King Ahaseurus and if Joseph was not a prime Minister under Pharaoh. This election is not about North versus South, nor is it Christian versus Muslim. It is about Nigeria and good governance. Don't allow politicians divide us. When they share money, they don't talk about religion. When they want donations from Aliko Dangote, they don't remember he is a Muslim. When they enter an aircraft, they don't ask the religious faith of the pilot. When their bosses are atheists, they don't resign from the job. When an Alhaji gives them contracts, they don't reject it. They and their wives go to Dubai to spend money. Dubai is in United Arab Emirate but they have no problems buying houses in Dubai. But when it comes to politics back home, they say they want to "ISLAMIZE" you. Yet, some of these people were spiritual consultants to Abacha. Vote your conscience. If you want to vote for Jonathan, vote for him based on your conviction that he has performed in your estimation and not because he is a "Christian". If you want to vote for Buhari, vote for him because you feel disenchanted with Jonathan government, not because he is a Muslim. Say NO to bigotry! God bless Nigeria ! |
It's time for a #Change Nigerians. Let's try another ✋ hand. |
mobuch:Empty drum, makes the loudest noise. You are an Ekpa as Warri ppl talk am. Report to which authority? Small pikin when never even leave he town. People insults Obama every day here in the U.S and no one threatens them with such gross foolish threats from you. Poor thing |
Dear Lord, what a visionary leader we have in the Person of BRF. This is a welcome development, it's time to start putting the electorate to vote on stuff as this. I believe this would give us a free, fair and 85% credible election. |
englishmart:Lagos is the New York of Nigeria, have you traveled out of Nigeria before? In The States, you must either have a State ID like this one in Lagos or a State Drivers Licence in places like New York. While in Texas you can have both, why are you guys just lazy to research but rather would result to insulting elects officials and a person like Fashola that the whole world is really impressed with his handling of Lagos State affairs? |
Vivipop:Vivipop. You've got Mail. |
NaNaYaaah:NaNaYaaah, are you African American? You sound like it, with your Y'all stuff. Anyway, give him a try. If you reside in the States, then you perhaps worship at a Baptist or Church of Christ church. |
naptu2:Thank you for the update, please post more pics. |

holyboss:My Brother, China has more prospect for your intended choice of Course.. They are a rising tech country and you will gain valuable knowledge in that field. Not to rule out the challenges you might face as to Language Barrier, but with cheer determination, you can learn any language in this world. You can find some Chinese language online tutorials on sites like YouTube.com, udemy.com, Rosettastones.com or google some more free resources online. For South Africa, you can be very successful in your intended choice of course you plan to study there, but the one or major challenge would be to find a part time job while schooling. But if you have money to start your own business, South is good also.. China is for the long term, I don't know about job availability there, you can do some research onlive via google or look for an existing thread for China here on Nairaland. |
Since I started living in the United States, I have seen so many things that my mouth cannot explain. I have resided in different States in the U.S and I can tell you some things about this American or Western women. Because she came online to spill this trash doesn't make it true, why not tell the world the whole truth? It takes 3 years to become a Citizen in the U.S, when you married to an American. Then 5years with Permanent Residency like through Green Card lottery or family immigration path. Marriage falls apart all the time in this society where we live in, its the norm here. Why is it now a crime when it happens between a citizen of other country and a Nigerian? I have a Nigerian Dr. Friend here in Syracuse whose American wife divorced him and took half of his wealth, did he go to the world wide web to scream that an American used him? Marriage fails because of irreconcilable differences, when both party is not fulfilling their obligations or stop fulfilling it. Why did we hate our own people and are quick to rush to the defense of others? You would be surprise to know how this Americans take advantage of Nigerians who are married to them. A man whom married you for 7years didn't do so because of Papers, you are not telling the truth here.. There is no element of truth in this post @Op, while you are trying to tarnish the already tarnished image of Nigeria by copying just one posting from several other positive posting from that website, others are testifying of their sweet experience with Nigerians.. See below for your self.. Guest December 2012 Hi, Thank you for letting me know. I put my marriage in God' hand. Every marriage couples will face their own problem to which some may end up with the divorce. Yes, when the divorce come to play, we are as a woman will most get the impact. What's I'm trying to say is divorce may happen to the marriage couple regardless where they are from. Marriage life is relied on how the couple educated them self to maintain their marriage to be last long. My husband will be here soon and together we will start our marriage life in Melbourne. Kind Regards http://www.wordtravels.com/forum/discussion/6763/marriage-after-meeting-on-internet-advice-please/p2 |
This is getting interesting, I remember the earlier investigation conducted by the SFU some time ago. |
Pathetic!!! Can't happen in Yankee. |
This is a good step in the right direction. |
This is why DailyKenn.com exists -- to introduce a national audience news ignored by the mainstream Marxist media (MMM). Today the MMM is ignoring the rape of a 91-year-old woman by a thug in Arizona. Arrested is Ekwunze Job "EJ" Owen. (We're assuming the Job is pronounced "Jobe," not "Jahb." ![]() The 24-year-old suspect is considered a serial criminal. He has a history of attempted rapes and other deviant behavior. Authorities said accused rapist Ekwunze Job "EJ" Owen Jr. was an opportunist who evolved into a serialized criminal that eventually led to the sexual assault of a 91-year-old Tempe woman. The 24-year-old Owen was taken into custody and arrested just after midnight Wednesday east of the Arizona State University campus and charged in connection with the rape of the elderly woman and several other sex crimes in neighboring Mesa. Owen's arrest at an apartment complex in the area of Apache Boulevard and Terrace Road ended with a large-scale manhunt. Owen is believed to have raped the woman Oct. 18, attempted to rape another woman last weekend and is accused of an attempted sexual assault and three indecent exposure incidents in Mesa, dating back as far as 2012. Police said Owen was with his girlfriend, 25-year-old Alyssa Sherrill, when he was arrested near Apache Boulevard and Terrace Road. She is not suspected of any wrongdoing, authorities said. Mesa Police Chief Fran Milstead said that during the course of the investigation they realized there was an established pattern and that the suspect was a "serialized criminal." Milstead, who had experiences with Baseline Killer and convicted rapist Mark Goudeau while Milstead was with the Phoenix Police Department, said he knew they had to jump on the case fast. The series of incidents began in Mesa in January 2012 and investigators have compiled information about trespassing and indecent exposures since then. Milstead said Owen would try to befriend or win the trust of his victims and would knock on doors, ask to use the phone or for directions, often enter the residences and unlock windows to allow him access when he came back to commit a crime. The reported pattern started as "peeping Toms," and transformed into masturbation and ultimately sexual assaults, Milstead said. Owen's arrest follows the attempted rape of a woman in Tempe on Saturday in the area of University and Priest. Police said the woman screamed, and Owen ran off. The woman told police she recognized the man who tried to attack her through sketches of a sexual assault suspect she'd seen on TV. Detectives canvassed the area and went into a nearby Circle K, which had surveillance video of a man who matched the suspect's description. On Sunday, a Tempe police officer saw the man and stopped him. Tempe police didn't say what was discussed during that encounter, but they were able to get Owen's name and a DNA sample. But due to insufficient evidence at the time, they had to let Owen go. On Monday night, Pooley said an analysis showed Owen's DNA sample matched evidence collected at the scene of the rape of the 91-year-old woman. The DNA also links Owen to an attempted sexual assault and three indecent exposure incidents in Mesa. Officers with Tempe police, Mesa police and the U.S. Marshals Service worked to track down Owen. "He is somebody we want to get off the streets," Tempe police Lt. Michael Pooley said Tuesday night. In January 2012, Mesa Police investigated an attempted sexual assault in the area of Longmore and Southern in west Mesa. Owen is also accused of exposing himself in front of women in various apartment complexes in the same area, near Longmore and Southern, between 2012 and 2014. "Ekwunze has shown his propensity to violence and should be considered dangerous," Pooley said. But how would the citizens prove that the targeted lawmaker is corrupt un the context of the law? |
. This lack of transparency is just one of the many reasons why I will vote against Mr. Ambode and his party in next month's gubernatorial election.
