I think we have similar off grid status (though mine is 5 months with about 4 months on solar). It's certainly been a great experience with my mppsolar brand which I guess is probably half the price of a victron. There was a day I saw over 8A and over 1.4kw on a my 1.5kw 6S1P array.

Because its 24v, I am getting two 200ah batteries for a start and upgrade to 4 by year-end by God's grace.

From experience you don't mix old batteries with new one. So it's either you use the 2 batteries for a long time and then buy complete 4 in future

My people help o! - this is not entirely related to solar but please pardon me.

My lg led TV has option for energy saver and I have been using it for quite sometime without issues thereby saving a lot of power. However since yesterday I have noticed that it just switches off the energy saver by itself with no one controlling it. I have returned it based to saver mode(maximum) yet it will still go to energy saver off after a few minutes. It's like it has a mind of its own to consume the juice in my battery, due to the little battery bank I have, I cannot afford this rate of consumption, especially after sunset!

Please does anyone have a suggestion on how I can resolve this.

I got a car from USA auctions, it was accident free and clean bodywise with no rust whatsoever, car got to Nigeria and it still looked clean bodywise but when I looked under it had some rust!

The reality is that I don't think it's about country but rather maintenance culture of car owner.

The only option is to do physical inspection and that is usually not possible with remote based auctions however there is someone based on Canada who does physical inspection, I think his moniker is Amdman
