ImperialYoruba: I want Indonesia to keep this law in place. Anyone that sells poison for others to consume, deserves a torturous (hope i spelt it right) death himself....and their loved ones deserve the indignity and grief of witnessing their son waste away with the count down on the clock. Afterall, the relatives and families of drug addicts go through a worse agony and grief in the deterioration stages of the victims of these criminals.
I would love to see Buhari reinstate death penalty for drug mules in Nigeria. Its not a Muslim thing and its not a Christian thing, it is a human thing and we deserve right to life, free from consumption of poison. If America were to be Indonesia thie.fnubu wont be alive today to become your political hero.Death sentence is extreme and I believe people deserve a second chance in life. |

McStoic: Not possible in this time. Even if it were, I don't think the SS can co habit with the Igbos. It's glaring that many SS guys won't like to associate with Igbo. Asari and other South Southerners are identifying with Igbos now cos of how things have turned. That would be one hell of strange marriage with odd bedfellows......Firstly am from Igboland but secondarily sees myself as a Kaduna indigene by association. Don't wanna apply for visa to visit my beloved KD..Pls let's pray for one Nigeria and continue the march forward. God who put us together in this country will see us through.....Thank you. Why not just come out plain that your father is a awusa man from kaduna than typing trash. |

newmuzik: What makes you think when the country is divided into smaller units same problem will not persist? As you said we dont buy into a national philosophy, I totally agree but what we do in a large country as Nigeria will be an analogy of what we will do in our respective segregated units. What we have been lacking in this country is True leadership.True Leadership inspires and fosters patriotism. Not all these divide and rule tactics we practice here..... let's just hope this change is not just on media..... You want Nigeria to remain the way it is due to her population and other advantages of being United and in the other hand your people will swear that a section of the country will never produce president in this country.A house built on faulty foundation cannot stand. If you truly want a great Nigeria, every citizen must be treated equally without regards to tribe or religion but without fairness and equity your dream of a great Nigeria is an illusion that will never come to pass. |

The people that paid Buhari courtesy visit are not even Igbo politicians, they are Igbo elders and what they did is in order..the other day senate president David Mark paid Buhari a visit and i consider it appropriate.Let me remind those making silly comments about the visit that Buhari was elected president of Nigeria not president of oduduwa and arewa Republic and Buhari as a politician knows what's best for business is to accommodate every section of this country if he must succeed..I am not surprised though, his vindictive mumu supporters are still baying for blood even in victory. |

Na wao. Obj himself became president because some people made it possible. His own case is worst considering the fact that he was rescued from death row and was a broke ass,he was cleaned up and sent to Aso Rock to his own amazement yet those who made him president are not making noise about. Tomorrow you add Buhari to your list of those you made president |

datribune: Is d scenario dat played out in lagos any different frm what happened at d center?. d igbo admitted on numerous occasions dat GEJ had disappointed dem & had not fulfilled his promises but dat they would still vote 4 him because they saw him as one of them. While other tribes in d national interest, withdrew their support, ndigbo continued to support someone who had shown clearly dat he did not hav d bandwidth to run a country as intricate & complex as d giant of africa. They chose to side wit a clueless, corrupt, weak & inept Azikiwe than to side wit Nigeria. A similar scenario is playing out in d local politics of Abia state. Take a hard look & u'll see dat those who ar playing politics of hate ar whose who continue to attack d Asiwaju, a revered leader & former governor of lagos state even though he is not on d ballot.
Common, you still miss the point.this is democracy and you don't expect everyone to vote one direction.Ndigbo made their choice whether right or wrong you must have to respect that in as much as they have accepted the wish of majority and I ask again what's your problem with that? When other tribes across Nigeria voted for OBJ in 1999 the yorubas choose to vote for Olu Falae nobody crucified the yorubas for voting against general interest of Nigeria. Finally,Buhari has won and it's time to prove his critics wrong rather than to look for whom to victimize. |

docsholz: Someone that knows what politics is about, I hope you're not one of those that shouts Yoruba betrayed d south, or it was a gang up against Jonathan and other bs My guy you can go through my post history and find out yourself. It's appalling how some people term igbo support for PDP hatred for other tribes in Nigeria forgetting the same igbo has been voting PDP since 1999 nor matter where the candidates comes from.from OBJ,Yaradua to GEJ and you expect them to turn apc over night just to show love and respect to their so called host.I hate primitive poltitics and some people are deeply into it while pointing accusing finger towards East. |

datribune: When will u hav sense?. How is it my fault dat majority of d supplementary elections ar taking place in igboland?. Listen, u ar ur own worst enemy. Facts will not cease to be facts because u, a unicellular simpleton wit a stupidity gene is throwing tantrums on d forum. Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish. U were merely pawns used by those u mentioned who saw how gullible ur hate had made u to think lagos will risk its progress by voting 4 a clueless, dysfunctional & directionless party like d PDP. d curses only show d lack of quality in ur upbringing. Grow up, stop whining & playing d victim card.
Why do you assume igbo support for Agbaje was out of hatred for tinubu or yoruba people?Ndigbo lagos and other non indigenes opted for him because he offered them a better and what they considered a fair deal in his government if elected simple.politics is all about interest all over the world, the same reason african Americans are more in support of Democrats than Republicans.its people like you who are playing politics of hate and not the other way round.Ndigbo never sort to use undemocratic means to impose a governor on majority of Lagosians. |

aderonila18: Thank you, Northerners make their money but you'll never see them bragging or claiming to be Lagosians. They do their business but never forget their home I know one thing for certain that a Jos man will prefer an Igbo neighbour than hausa who have claimed part of their territory by brute of force and you yorubas has lost Illorin by the same means still you can't fault them but reserve all your hate to Igbos who are doing their legitimate business in lagos. Let me remind you hate mongers that as far as Nigeria remain one as gowon and awolowo decreed, you can never frustrate igbos out of lagos or any other part of Nigeria not even with buhari's victory that has been intoxicating you people like fresh palm wine. |
