Kobojunkie:

Do not go back if you have not made provision for

a) Electricity -- Look into Solar or Wind technology with batteries if possible. You would likely be more depressed if all you will be doing is going back to join the millions in darkness and hopelessly of the situation at this time.

b) Water

c) Food

Sit back in the Uk and live from hand to mouth. While you have been away, those you left behind are making good and they travel to visit you in the Uk and spend money on you, don't be deceived Nigerians are migrating back home in droves. My friend, this is where it is happening, opportunities abound, if you are smart.

My guy calm down now, which GEJ, u never talk of ordinary LG chairman or state legislooters you are talking of a president that more than 10 doctors would test the food before he will it, or is the food worth 3 million casava kinikon? useless Nigeria
And you think Obama just walked into that restaurant unannounced? Think again my friend. It was a publicity stunt and the secret service probably prepared the food he was served.

Real gun, toy gun, it makes no difference in the eye of the law. My friend, it is the intent that count, that is why there is a crime called attempted murder.

So if possession of gun warrant death sentence, what will be the penalty of actual murder? Was it even attempted murder? Guy think with ur brain and not ur bottom...
Why not hang all those armed militants that terrorised south south for years. Why amnesty?
Do you know how to read? Please go back and read the OP and note the defense lawyer's argument.

what pains me d most about dis is that it could have been prevented if we had believed the prophet of God and prayed with him
he said that this would happen before it did
and it was even reported in the tribune on the 1st February

Nigerians urged to pray to avert plane crash
Written by Shola Adekola, Lagos
Wednesday, 01 February 2012

The pastor in charge of Synagog[/b]ue Church of All Nations, Prophet T.B Joshua, has called on Nigerians to pray fervently to God to avert a looming air disaster in the country.

The man of God made the appeal while revealing a prophecy God showed him concerning the aviation sector during a Sunday service.

The pastor, while making the prophecy, was said to have explained that the purported crash would have nothing to do with either pilot error or aircraft problem but that of security problem.

According to Joshua, the purported crash, if not averted, would involve one of the country’s local flights.

Prophet Joshua urged Nigerians to pray that the country did not experience such a disaster, which he said, might claim lives of many government officials.

He, however, advised anybody who wanted to travel by air to recite Psalm 91 before boarding any aircraft for safe landing.

Did u read this article before you posted it. My dear fellow this crash is not what your prophet predicted. Stop this desperate credit grabbing

Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Nigerians Made A Mistake Not Electing Buhari – El-Rufai by ojofree: 8:41am On Jan 08, 2012
Hellloooooo people, everybody keeps saying Buhari built 3 refineries, i would like to know when those refineries were built, was it during his time as head of state or while he was minister of petroleum. If they were not built during his term as head of state, then he has no right claiming them as personal achievements, it is an achievement that should be credited to the then head of government, Buhari only carried out an instruction handed down to his ministry. I will only tolerate this arguement again if he built them while he was head of state

I have read so many divergent views on this thread some well thought out, some intelligent and some that simply display a total lack of umderstanding of the thought process of the average person from the south-south. They have been marginalized for ever and they are suddenly presented an opportunity on a platter of gold to present this nation with a president and you expect them to seat at home?, BIG LIE, personally the turn out of voters in the niger delta is disappointing, i expected to see 100percent voter turnouts there, put yourself in their shoes and tell me you will do less, the votes cpc got in delta state must have been from the few thousand northerners who live in hausa quarter in warri. Buhari wanted votes from SS and SE did he bother to homour them and campaign there? a simply wise reminder for a foolish elder, YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

I am even suprised ACN won in Alimosho. Alimosho and Ikorod with Shomolou are the 3 most neglected regions of Lagos by ACN and BRF.
AGREE WITH YOU FULLY

when people talk on this forum, they give the impression that if PDP wins it is by rigging but if ACN wins they do so fairly. please be aware that Lagosians are very politically sensitive and so if ACN wins in Alimoso, Ikorodu, Shomolu and even in Lekki/Epe axis, then you must think really hard that it might not have been fair, There is a lot of apathy towards BRF and ACN here, i live in Alimoso and only registered to vote because i wanted to make sure i contribute towards ACN losing, BRF is a hypocrite and is so popular because he has a very intelligent PR team around him

Senator Iyabor Obasanjo Bello of the PDP lost to ACN candidate in her backyard, The PDP is gradually loosing their grip in the state, This is a political Tsunami to OBJ and the PDP,

I am surprised you expected PDP to do well in Ogun state. FYI there are 2 opposing factions of PDP in that state and so there was a lot of anti-party activities

Nairalanders should realize that publishing projected results is not the same as the final results, all these diaspora Nigerians populating this forum should realize that they are inciting negative sentiments, YOU DON'T LIVE HERE AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THE SENTIMENTS OF THE PEOPLE ARE, Please let peace reign, i am surprised reading someone who lives in the UK posting speculative results , it is irresponsible

Daisy Danjuma lost to an unpopular ACN candidate?, FYI Uzamere the ACN candidate is a seating senator who defected to ACN, and ACN is the ruling party in Edo state , and if you really understand the psych of the average voter, it was not an upset, Uzamere was expected to win, lets post without sentiments please

well, i see it in a different way if this your assertion is right. that shows he is not such a dictatorial person as he is being accused. he likes to carry every one along which is a democratic quality. However his management skills arent in doubt. He showed us this when he was in PTF and excelled greatly with enough results to show for it. or do you know of any assistant of his (assistant chairman-PTF) during those days?

Since Obama is so democratic we should be saying OBAMA/BIDEN, my friend admit it, BUHARI simply does not have what it takes,
Politics / Re: Buhari's Past Sins, Ribadu's Past Sins, Jonathan's Past Sins by ojofree: 7:33pm On Apr 03, 2011
Buhari simply lacks the presence, carriage and charisma to be a leader, that is why his is the only government that needed appending the name of a junior officer as a suffix IDIAGBON to lend it respectability, we always remember that era as the BUHARI-IDIAGBON REGIME , Nigerians never bothered with him, everybody held IDIAGBON in higher esteem, have you never wondered why it wasn't BABANGIDA/AIKHOMU or ABACHA/DIYA? those rulers had the presence and charisma, Buhari simply lacks it, if you notice, history is repeating itself, even his apologists find themselves calling him BB (BUHARI BAKARE)

I posted this on another thread but i think it is also appropriate here.
I have heard/read a lot of myopic, emotional and ill-conceived opinions about Samson Siasia being the messiah we need to get us out of our latest coaching problems. I can not remember ever seeing The Messiah managing a team without the prefix U(Under) attached to its name.
Please let us not confuse taking an assemblage of old men to bully people young enough to be their children with tactical competence, it is said "THE GOLDFISH HAS NO HIDING PLACE", if i am permitted to bother his propagandists, "which club/country is he managing presently"
