Since i saw the town hall meeting disagreement video between Amaechi and Kachikwu, I have wondered what the transport minister stand to gain by depriving his people of development. The right thing should be done and this project must see the light of day.
These are some of the reasons why we have the Niger Delta agitations; No development.

Even if you dont believe this "dab" thing, you believe there's GSM...that is a system where only you possess your number globally.

NUBAN...only you possess the bank account globally

BVN...All your NUBANs, if you have more than one bank account, are tied to this.

If you haven't heard of Networked Society, or IoT(Internet of Things), then you really need Christ.

I'm still researching on this IoT thing with reference to the Bible .

Antichrist is real, just that Africa is delaying him in terms of tech advancement

Politics / Plot To Unseat NIMASA Acting DG Thickens by ojofree: 10:59am On Jul 24, 2015
It’s not yet Uhuru for Barrister Callistus Obi Nwabueze, the newly appointed Acting Director General of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) as the agency’s Executive Director in Charge of Finance and Administration, Baba Haruna Jauro may have commenced moves to unseat him and take his place.

Jauro, said to be close to former Defence Minister, Theophilus Danjuma and other Directors in the Federal Ministry of Transport is said to have intensified moves to get President Muhammadu Buhari to reverse himself by rescinding on Nwabueze’s appointment and get the Permanent Secretary of the Transport Ministry to reissue another appointment letter to him as Director General.

He is believed to be leveraging on his personal contacts with some influential northern politicians to have his way

Our investigations reveal that rather than stay on seat to consolidate on the ongoing jobs at the nation’s apex maritime regulatory agency, Jauro has virtually moved to Abuja to mobilize pressure on the President, who just arrived from a four day working visit to the United States of America.

Should President Buhari bow to pressure by reversing himself, watchers of the new administration will have it on record that it has reversed itself on two other occasions which generated controversies. The appointment of an Acting National Chairman for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the immediate past Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega had handed over to the most Senior Director of the Electoral Umpire.

The President also revered himself over the issue of dismantling of military road blocks nationwide. The NIMASA Acting DG hails from Anambra and Jauro is from the North Eastern State Yobe. This move, if acceded to by the President may send a signal of bias against a section of the country, which the government had been accused of in some quarters.

This is a good development..the south east zone should be made to feel like they are a part of this nation once again..I think the president should embrace a policy of national reconcilation. We can't be divisive, it won't help growth.
Education / Nimasa Set To Provide Sound Technical Education by ojofree: 1:59pm On Jun 28, 2015
Construction work on the permanent site of the NIMASA Science and Technical College, Okoloba, Delta State has reached a very advanced stage. This is in furtherance of the Dr Ziakede Patrick Akpobolokemi led Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, (NIMASA)’s policy thrust to position Nigeria in the forefront of human capital development in the maritime sector.

The college which commenced academic activities in its temporary site two years ago is a senior secondary school certificate equivalency institution aimed at producing middle level manpower for developing the Nigerian Maritime sector, grandaunts of this college which specialises in science and technical studies are expected to further hone their requisite skills in maritime studies by attending the NIMASA owned Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko and other maritime faculties established by the agency in specific universities across the country or benefit from the Nigeria Seafarers Development Programme (NSDP) which presently sponsors Nigerian Maritime students in various institutions in established maritime capacity development countries, such as The United Kingdom, Romania, India and Philippines.

Speaking to journalists while conducting them round the on-going construction at the permanent site of the college, the Principal, Mr Akpos Biokeme said that admission into the school is not limited to any geopolitical zone of the country but with a spread that is national, stating that students are only admitted on merit and that they have already commenced the process of advertising for admission of the third batch of students into the institution, he urged school leavers to avail themselves of this opportunity by applying for the test and interview process across the country. He said that there will be test centres across cities in Lagos, Borno, Enugu and Delta states and Abuja. Reacting to questions he posited that the students are on a scholarship provided by the agency as the institution is entirely board and tuition free.

The Deputy Director of Public Relations, NIMASA, Mr Isichei Osamgbi told journalists that the agency has taken a position aimed at tackling the dearth of qualified manpower in the maritime sector as it is rigorously pursuing the development of human capacity by establishing maritime faculties in various Nigerian Universities, building a Specialised maritime university (Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko) and the NSDP programme in addition to the Technical College. This, he said is creating a vast pool of seafarers that will on graduation form the bulk of manpower in that sector of the economy.

In the area of community relations the Chairman of the Okoloba community, Mr Alphonsus Feh expressed appreciation on behalf of the Okoloba people to the federal government for citing the technical college in their community and that they are willing to extend their cooperation to the institution and contractors working on the project to ensure that the school, in the nearest future resume academic activities at the permanent site.

The principal of the school thereafter took the inspection team on a facility tour of the temporary site of the institution which presently admits students from various states of the federation including Taraba, Adamawa, Delta, Kogi etc.

Perhaps his giant feet on the Lagos sands of time is alien to those of the so called Omo Eko gangan who presumably are Liliputians!

I hope you will retain this sentiment when an Igbo man produces evidence that he was born in lagos and spent his whole life here and wants to contest for the position of governor.

pak: This guys put me through some terrible ish today.

Got to Sokoto airport, only to be told that the flight I had already booked had been cancelled.

Thank God they refunded immediately but that left us with the inconvenience of having to do the sokoto-abuja-lagos connection. Costing like an extra 15k in hard earned cash and ensuring I spent an extra 3 hrs on the trip. Terrible experience really. And to think that the apology text only got to my phone when I was about to land in lag.
So you had your mobile phone switched on during the flight.

Business / Re: Private Jets Owned By Wealthy Nigerians And Their Costs by ojofree: 7:18pm On Sep 28, 2012
stagger: A typical trip by a man of Bishop's status will go with a pastoral staff of at least 10 persons. He travels worldwide for preaching engagements.

Instead of paying between N300,000 to N1,000,000 in air fares travelling to sometimes three speaking engagements a week (AND THERE WILL BE FOOLS HERE WHO WILL SAY THAT THE AIR FARE IS TOO MUCH ASSUMING THE MEN OF GOD TRAVEL WITH COMMERCIAL ARILINES), the church decides to buy an aircraft to ferry them around.

- No Aero style delays. (my wife once had her flight delayed by Aero for 18 hours!)
- No sudden cancellations like Arik Air did and stranded all their international passengers.
- No poor services or aircraft where the ACs are not working properly.
- No coffins in the sky like Dana Air (where two pastors and their wives died because they flew on a stupidly decrepit plane).

My company once paid $12,000 an hour to Aero for a medical evacuation in Delta state. You think say that money na beans? Wouldn't such money be used to buy a small aircraft or a chopper that can be used for such purpose?

SO what is the joke? If a church can afford to buy an aircraft for its pastoral staff, WHY NOT?

And going by that calculation, it is cheaper to own a private jet? how ignorant

Politics / Re: PDP Can Never Win Lagos –ACN by ojofree: 2:37pm On Jul 15, 2012
Billyonaire: PDP can win Lagos. The way Fashola and Tinubu are handling Lagos at this second term is nothing to write home about. The Lekki Road was a Public Private Partnership and I am paying toll every time I pass. What has the government done for me with my tax money ? The ACN government has not done anything to improve me or my neighborhood with the Tax money or from the Federal Allocation apart from building 5 star hotels, Airlines, private properties etc for themselves. I dont know about other parts of Lagos but VI-Lekki axis, all our projects are PPP projects, Simple. If PDP will take away the 30 yrs toll arrangement, I will vote for PDP, I remain unbiased.
Well said, we all seem to have forgotten that the core promise of Fashola's campaign was delivering a 4th mainland, he is in his second term as governor and nothing has been said about the fanthom bridge.

If troops are not deployed you will complain that the PDP want their thugs to have a field day. Not every action of government is done with an ulterior motive. Think before you speak.
