Without any reason, some Nigerians just have hatred for success and successful people. If the legislators decide to implement pay cut for themselves they deserved to be praised and not attacked because they have willingly decided to make sacrifice and they don't have to be insulted by anybody. |
Don't mind them, hungry politicians, who gave them authority to watch media? Media Watch ko, media view ni. Attention seeking traitors. Unknown soldiers like Pa. Fela would have called them. Barawo kowe! . |

This is purely a paid advert! Suo, what of those other rich gals in the industry? I beg go siddon Jare. This is just an ibo actresses affair, so there is no Yoruba or other tribe actresses that are doing well and rich? Bull shit. |
Calling for President Muhammadu Buhari's resignation at this time is not only foolhardy but can be akin to searching for a needle in the ocean and unfortunately most of these PDP and other social media commentators betrayed their party, worked for APC before and during the election after having collected huge sums of money shouting CHANGE!!! Though, they acted blind then and now they are crying foul, NA LIE, this four years or 1461 days was a joint decision of 15million Nigerians for sai Baba. You opened your eyes godogbo, you think APC leaders were foolish with their money? Nay, you are paying back and you mist pay in full. Baba will complete his tenure and better give him needed support. Shikena.

There ia problem of compartibility in such situation. The kid-lover is a mere loafer while the matured partner is dead serious and no matter how serious and dedicated, mission is different and will end in a disaster for sure. Not advisable. |
N8.64b divided by 469 NASS members is still a paltry sum as far as the inflation rate of this country is presently. Moreso that majority of the agitators of pay-cut for these noble law makers are going to be the beneficiaries of the money as their cronies and hangers-on. Why are we always against other peoples' success in Nigeria? |
The truth is that Nigerians really don't know the exact figure of the legislators' emoluments and by this we can't be really sure if they are over paid or not. One important thing that needs to be addressed is the unnecessary demands of polticians' constituents and hangers-on. Law makers are not expected to give people money but they are continuously under pressures and undue demands to give people money, yet this same people that take from them are in the fore-front of agitation for their pay cut. People are not fair and inconsistent. We need to make them comfortable to be able to legislate effectively.

That's a good one from a detribalized Nigerian. |
President Muhammadu Buhari is less than 2 weeks in office there is a volume of complaints and outcries in the media. Why? Why are Nigerians so impatient? Let's give this man some breathing space and allow him to plan and effect the desired change we need from him. After all, the mounting problems have been piling up for years and it can't go in a day, not even in a tenure of 1461 days. He needs our support and prayers. Let's suggest the best way we know he can effect the desired change.

I think people should strive very deeply during courtship to know who they want to marry to know his/her state of mind. This parents who brutalize their children are nothing but brutes. No more no less and they deserve conviction without fine and such children should be withdrawn from such brutish parents. |
Aare Ona Kakanfo, Basorun Moshood Kasimawo Olawale Abiola, the matyr of our nascent democracy since July 8, 1998 first remembered by only President Muhammadu Buhari out of the whole lot of beneficiaries of the exhaulted office of President which he sought and died for. Almighty God will not leave our darling president alone in the running of the affairs of this country for at least acknowledging the person of Basorun M.K.O. Abiola. God bless Nigeria. |
Carnage by LUNATICS on wheels, God safe Nigerians from our madmen on our long stretch of death traps. |
Happy birthday to a great African woman and immediate past minister of finance of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Happy Birthday, LLnP sister Ngozi. |
Why don't we forget about hoping to see corrupt leaders prosecuted in Nigeria? It is like a mirage which will never come to pass. It is better to face the future with the newly elected administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and face the future as if those offences are not existing as it may amount chasing shadows. The allegations were brilliantly perfected and the Nigerian legal system is so porous it will never succeed in bringing anybody to book. Why waste time on a fruitless exercise |
Ogogoro death in Rivers is just a warning sign to all that this lical gin has become their habit, that death is knocking at their door. Not long ago, Ondo state had a bitter experience with people who were killed after Ogogoro. It is attaining the status of drug which needs to be stopped by a legislation. |
Oga Okiro, that's a good one. They don't know there are clean officers in the police. Welldone. |
We celebrate you mama, we also commiserate with Baba Obasanjo your brother on the great loss to him and the entire family. Mama rest in the bosom of your lord jesus. Adieu. |
Demon, that we all called street trading has claimed lives of incorrigible Nigerians here again. In this Owena market, stalls are left unused while traders prefer to display their wares on the road. This is what the government has been complaining about. We can't create our lives, it is a rare gift from God, let's protect it jealously. Sorry about the unfortunate incidence. I commiserate with the families of the deceased. |
It is God that can only rescue this nation from the cabals in all facets of the system from deliberaye manipulation that has caused untold hardship and fatal losses to the citizenry. While I sympathize with the writer I wish to share my sad experience too. In 2010 my niece, Bukola Ayanbeku who just Graduated from one of the prestigeous univeraities in England just came home to spend a few weeks before her convocation. Some days in Nigeria, she complained of malaria and was rushed to the LAUTRCH teaching hospital, she needed oxygen to breath. Believe me, in the entire health institutions in Osogbe, both private and government owned there was no single cylinder. That was how we lost a First Class graduate in that family to system failure. |
Even we, the orfinary citizen also clean newly rented or acquired houses, it is normal and in place. |
How much is Lagos working with this atlantic inside town? All these politicians are liars, just ordinary drainage, they can't construct. They are mere propagandists. Address plenty pass letter. |
But will those who fail to enforce drug law not see it as another sourco of personal enrichment. Too many laws without enforcements. |
May his soul rest in peace |
My most tideous journey was sometimes around August 2007 when Armed robbers blocked Lokoja -Okene Road on my way to Abuja and we all scampered for safety and Ilied down on top of a python that had swallowed a ram with two big horns. About four other passengers were hiding behind a rock resting on a log of wood unknown to us that it was a python until our weights was disturbing it and it flung us like sticks and rabbled round the whole cliff. The robbers that were chasing us eventually ran together for safety with us back to the main road on sighting the massive reptile which was moving towards a nearby river with two visible horns in its mouth. Two female passengers on sighting the python eventually fainted and were carried back to the road. That was my most harrowing travelling experience ever. The robbers ran away and we later discovered that they were robbing with only one real gone with few bullets and many toy guns and ordinary woods carved and painted like guns. They escaped into the nearby bush and disappeared. |
The truth is that President Muhammadu Buhari didn't create the backog of problems confronting Nigerians, he inherited them and honestly speaking it will take time and our support to clear them if only we all give him becessary supports, anything aside that is mere waste of time. He needs our support as much as we need him to do it right.
|
What are they trying to do or say about that? Hatred?! We don't need all that in Nigeria, in the Next two or three years to come, no matter how good GMB's administration may be there will always be some level of imperfection and we don't have to create hatred for him. President Jonathan has tried his best as a human being, all we need is to pray than GMB too becomes successful in lifting Nigeria higher that his predecessor.
|
Dem no know anything. Dem go hear wein, who no know go know, who sabi go peme. Dem never start, when Aregbe brings tax, dem go John Benson. |
Even with Buhari's election, this Boko Haram islamist terrorists are still fighting. Will GMB be able to pacify them as he promised Nigerians? Will they release the Chibok girls? I hope we are not living in fools' paradise hoping to see an end to the insurgency as APC and Buhari made Nigerians to believe that with his announcement as winner of the Presidential election the terrorism in the North East would stop? God help Nigeria. |
Nigerians, I have read through a lot about this crazy man who left all modern means of transportatio available in Nigera and chose to be normadic in this modern time to bring out what message, benefit or God-knows-what? Looking at the insurmounyable swan of jobless Nigerians, one will be disappointed at the aimlessness of the thinking of many people in this country. If I may ask, what benefit has the unduely popular treck from Lagos to Abuja bropught to Nigeria or Nigerians? Bull shit!!! |
Cultures are different from nations to nations. The white people have a different humble culture that is different from that of Nigeria, moreso, President Jonathan is a man of extremely humble Christian background who knows the position of any man of God as divine representation of the Almighty. Even David Cameron who was standing while praying is not disobedient but just doing it in his cultural orientation, so Baba Adeboye too is a great man of God who knows that prayers are answered by God not based on how you stand but by your faith. Let's not give undue interpretations to issues especially where great men of God are involved to avoid HIS WRATH. |
