BABA IYABO SHOULD THINK ABOUT SNC OR THE DIVISION OF NIGERIA INSTEAD OF THIS NONSENSE VISIT THAT WILL NOT CHANGE THEIR IDEOLOGY OF THE SIN IN WESTERN EDUCATION kpogede77:Unfortunately for Nigerians, OBJ and his "Owners of Nigeria" gang will do no such thing because it will impact their investments negatively. Nigeria is a private company raking in billions for a small gang and their families. They don't want to give it up, change the rules or sell any part of it. |

Beaf:My thinking cap on? Where will I get that kind of thinking cap from when I'm not sharp like you? I don't know how to spin bro, all I saw from this whole Korean galala dance was a government that did not adequately confirm its story before gleefully unleashing it on 150 Million people. Any other thinking and spinning beyond that is above my pay-grade. I'll leave it to smart Alecs like you sir. ![]() |
LOL Jonathan throws Bayelsa Governor under the bus ![]() Incompetent people stumbling all over themselves like babies. They can't even get their information straight before running to the press. Yeye dey smell. |
Jonathan Responds: “South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Says Not Building Nigerian Shipyard” September 17, 2011 - 20:20 — siteadmin My attention has been drawn to a story in today’s edition of the online version of The Washington Post entitled “South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy says not building Nigerian Shipyard”. It is therefore pertinent to clarify the following: 1. The President of Hyundai Heavy was accompanied to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa on a courtesy call on President Goodluck Jonathan by the Governor of Bayelsa state and a consultant to Hyundai Heavy, Otunba Ayo Oduntan. 2. The Governor of Bayelsa as well as the consultant for the project spoke on behalf of the President of Hyundai Heavy who subsequently made a short speech. 3. The Governor and the project consultant spoke of a multi-billion dollar ship yard and presented a prototype of the proposed project to President Jonathan. Since they made these statements in the presence of the Hyundai Heavy officials, who did not rebut them, the President and his aides present had no reason to disbelieve them. 4. The President of Hyundai Heavy Industries himself later gave an interview while still within the Presidential villa to a Reuters correspondent and affirmed the statement made by the Governor and chief Ayo Oduntan as follows "My company is going to (sic) $7billion dollars in Nigeria in the building of a shipyard" (see http://af.reuters.com/article/investingNews/idAFJOE78E0LU20110915) In conclusion, it is wrong and indeed mischievous to have quoted the President or his office as the author of the statement that Hyundai Heavy planned to build a multi-billion dollar ship yard. These statements were the reported statements of the Governor of Bayelsa State and the project consultant who were responsible for bringing the President of Hyundai Heavy Industries to pay a courtesy call on President Jonathan. I trust that this clarification will put to rest any issues arising from this matter as the Federal Republic of Nigeria and President Goodluck Jonathan are desirous of opening up Nigeria to genuine Foreign Direct Investment and welcome any investment that Hyundai Heavy Industries decides to make in Nigeria. auwal87:They simply don't care. When Nigeria explodes on our heads these same people will be the first set to fly out to safety in their private and rented jets. |
Evil Brain:Very sensible post. But I bet if you'd posted this a just 4 days ago, the usual "GEJ can do no wrong", "North must die" gang would have called for your head. They would have read your post as an attack on PDP and call you a Boko Haramite ![]() Just to add also, any Boko Haram member involved in any bombing and murder of innocent Nigerians must also be hunted down, tried and sentenced to death. It does not matter if it takes 100 Years, murderers must pay for their crimes. Without justice there will be no peace and progress. |
Johndoe100:Are you trying to suppress free speech? |
Evil brain said; Also, just because he was related to their former leaders doen't mean Mr. Fugu was a mainstream Boko Haram member, maybe they took exception to him negotiating on their behalf. You know this because you are using your brain correctly. well done. But the idiots that killed the man's father probably did not use their brain before acting. Those who suggested that a visit to Babakura mean't they have sensible access to Boko Haram apparently did not use their brain. Let's see who they will visit and beg next. ![]() |
Johndoe100:Why do you want Omoyele Sowore Killed? Tell me his offence. |
adamabdul:Dude don't blame the media Abeg, we were here yesterday when some folks where jumping up and down praising OBJ and suggesting and claiming he had the backing of GEJ and FBI. According to Babakura himself, OBJ went to his house with cameras to record the visit. So what media exposure are you claiming? The pictures of OBJ in his agbada posing like Jack Bauer was released too. Did Sahara reporters take that picture? leave media out of this. The media is doing their job by reporting what our leaders are doing in our name, let those we voted in do theirs too. They wanted to fight an ideological battle with the usual Nigerian way, let's see where this will lead us to. ![]() |
Sahara Reporters was on twitter earlier today complaining that they could not get access to Babakura for their interview. This was posted about 7 hours ago: RT @Saharareporters: BOKO HARAM UPDATE! The Nigerian Govt is interrupting our calls to Baba Kura Alhaji Fuggu, the son of late Alhaji, http:///x2TkRotGI will always respect Sowore's audacity, like him or hate him. We need more like him if we are serious about building a decent country. |
Thirst4Lif:I'm definitely not referring to those who are corrupt. Of course they know what they are doing and don't give a damn about the country. I was referring to gullible Nigerians who are mostly poor, violated, abused, controlled, hungry and confused. Yet they file out everytime to hail their oppressors. |

Social justice. Nigerian delight in licking only the oiled finger, not a bloodied and withered one. Failure is an orphan here. But nations cannot be built on this characteristic of opportunism, individualism and injustice. Then I remember the famous quote from Martin Niemoller (1892-1984);This is my favorite, that is the message every Nigerian needs to assimilate. Nigeria will never know peace or progress until we embrace justice. Every energy controlling the world agrees with that. |
Nigerian leaders will never do that, they don't care about people or justice. They only care about their Padi Padi interests and family. The same elites running Nigeria today are friends, colleagues, family and acquitances of the past Nigerian looters, dictators, coup plotters, arm merchants and murderers. They will do nothing to right past wrongs until people are ready to demand justice en-masse. Unfortunately we are not ready yet. That is the reality. |
Anvaller:Unfortunately there is a prevailing belief in Nigerian society. The belief is simple and it is at the root of out problems, at least since the British "left" in 1960. The Stupid Belief; Share the Loot and the problem will disappear. Let's wait if that belief will prevail this time. I'm definitely not betting on it. |
[People in Maiduguri know them and I'm sure the Boko Haram camp is not in their compound. My point is that you are assuming these families have some tangible influence over the Boko Haram sect itself and their "faceless Ustaz". I hope your assumption is correct. I doubt it. People who fight ideological struggles like the Boko Haram claimed they are fighting do not care too much about what in-laws or relatives say or believe. It's like appealing to Hitler's uncle to help stop Hitler from killing Jews. Or begging Osama-Bin-Laden's father to make Osama stop his Jihad.
I posted this before we got the News that one of those visited by OBJ has been shot dead Beaf, if we finally confirm that the Babakura was killed by Boko Haram, then I'm sad that my assumptions are correct. YOU CANNOT FIGHT AN IDEOLOGICAL WAR WITH BEGGING. Every thing cannot be solved by the usual Naija way of throwing money and big man swagger around. |
So where are all the IDiOOOOOOTs jumping up and down praising the Boko Haram begging yesterday? Where Una dey nah? We told you, You cannot fight an ideological struggle with amnesty begging and pleading. But Una too mumu to understand ![]() Until we punish people and make them accountable for their crimes we cannot have anything close to peace and progress. The right thing to do is to try those( soldiers and policemen) that murdered people in their custody and sentence them to death for murder. The right thing to do is to find arrest and try every Boko Haram involved in killing innocent people and sentence them to death. The right thing to do is to try every act of law breaking, looting and corruption we've swept under the carpet and make people pay for their crimes. But we will not do that, because we keep making excuses for wicked and dishonest looters and liars. Without justice there can never be peace. I just pity the gullible innocents. |
Beaf said; His effort has opened up a direct communication route to the sect, instead of the faceless "Ustaz" and other unknowns that have claimed to represent them. The reports said OBJ visited the late Yusuff's family and also his slained father-in-law's family. We understand from further reports released and posted on NL that the family already sued the government so they never really hid their faces. People in Maiduguri know them and I'm sure the Boko Haram camp is not in their compound. For the sake of future victims, I really hope your assumption is correct. But I can tell you that OBJ is not altruistic or brave in anyway. When I see all the military thieves and coup plotters like OBJ and his friends running helter skelter to defend their loot from impending chaos. Bravery does not come to my mind. Fighting an ideological battle with begging and pleading is definitely not bravery. If OBJ is brave, IBB will be in jail, Danjuma will be dead, Buhari will be in Jail. Abacha family will be serving life sentences, all his aides and those involved in the murder of Saro Wiwa, Kudirat, Alfred Rewane and other crimes and looting that created an atmosphere for lunatics like Boko-haram to thrive will be in jail. No! OBJ is a coward drama king with attention deficit disorder, "e nor fit Siddon for one place" if he stops his limelight hugging drama, he will die, so he's just having fun. Brave my ass! |
If you people need Okada rider/transporter abeg add my name join am for the project ![]() |
Mumu people that will never face reality. UN building was fenced like a fortress still they bombed it. Now you are begging them ![]() Fence cannot protect idioooots. ![]() |
Looters are abusing the Nigerian flag everyday with their stealing and corruption. Mr Agiri, this flag has been permanently tainted, it's better we punish looters like OBJ, IBB, Bankole, Anenih, and the Abacha Family to cleanse it. People suddenly become billionaires with no evidence or any sensible history to support it and you are talking of flag. Abeg, let's kumuma tear the flag and shiiit on it. Wetin remain nah? ![]() |
The Ambassador quoted the younger brother of Abacha, Kabiru as having told him that the negotiators wanted a commission out of the $1.2bn and Mohammed Abacha was unwilling “to part with any money.” Mohammed Abacha, who was locked up in prison at the time was offered $300m out of the $1.2bn, which he turned down.LOL see swagger! He refused to give up his stolen money except they share it I must make it up there one day. This country is sweeeeeeeet!!!!! |
The negotiators were alleged to have been settled for their efforts. The then Vice-President Abubakar Atiku, was also allegedly responsible for signing the agreement between the Abacha family and Nigeria. The agreement included insulating “the Abachas from any future liability for past actions and to permit them to participate fully in the political process"That is the same kind of agreement we are about to sign with BOKO HARAM people. ![]() In Nigeria, if you are evil, corrupt and brutal enough, you will "make it" just keep trying. |

Memo to all Un-born babies: If your ambition is to become a looter when you get here, ask papa god to send you to a Nigerian family. But choose the right one o! Signed: Your loving Uncle, Okada-man |
According to the confidential wire sent to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) by Ambassador Howard F. JeterWhich one be CIA again? LOL Nigerian Newspaper can add too much jara to sontin sha! Choi! |
But a recent Wikileaks cable release indicated that the amount recovered was much more than the announced $600m. The amount was put in excess of $1.2bn.I was surprised to hear $600M then too, I knew Abacha could do better than that. |
The loot was said to have been hidden away through the assistance of a Lebanese living in Nigeria. The Lebanese Chagouri Family? And these Arabs are busy raping our women in Libya while looting our country. |
* Bola Ige objected to deal with Abacha’s sonThat's why they murdered him ![]() |
