This Chiyeaka is the definition of evil. I can't wait for her to pay for all her evil deeds. Fantastic Story, a great piece. Well done. |
roniex2:Wow! I never knew it was a true life story. Of course, it's not self defence but her lawyer didn't try at all. He didn't do a good job. She would have still been convicted but at least he should have put up a good case. I feel sorry for her, but truth be told, she put herself in that condition. You know what I like about the story? It didn't end up the way most people thought it would. This is reality, in fairy tales, her husband would most probably have fallen for her but this is no fairy tale. Great story, thumbs up. |
You did a nice job but I feel your ending was rushed or you didn't do enough research. When a case like this is presented in court, the lady can plead self defence and even if she pleads guilty, her lawyer can put up a good case with evidence that his client was badly battered/raped and had killed her husband out of self defence. Her lawyer wasn't a good one. According to the story, she was badly hurt/raped and was slipping into unconsciousness before she gathered her last strength to go pick a knife, all this will taken into consideration. It's now left for the Judge to decide if it's self defence or not and what her punishment/sentence will be based on evidence/witness account. I feel the court section was too straight. The most important thing though is the message, which was passed very well. I really don't understand why someone will want to force his or her love on another and expect the person to reciprocate. People continually make this mistake. To all the Stephanie out there, I hope you learn from this wonderful piece. |
Ann2012:Why would u say such a thing? In as much as what she did was totally wrong, Austin has no right to hit her that way. He has been cheating on her in her presence, did she hit him? Since he doesn't want her as his wife, why didn't he divorce her? Why will he put her through so much pain? As for Tobi, he's an idiot, he'll meet his waterloo. Stephanie messed up big time, I was disappointed in her for sleeping over at Tobi's place, as if that was not enough, she stupidly went back there and slept with him. She didn't try at all but definitely don't deserve what Austin did to her. |

Prof. Wole Soyinka says : 'WHERE DID WE GO WRONG? WAKE UP NIGERIAN YOUTHS!'~~~ "Awolowo was 37 years, Akintola 36, Ahmadu Bello 36, Balewa 34, Okotie-Eboh 27 and Enahoro 27 And they led the struggle for Nigeria Independence after the death of Macaulay. Only Zik was 42 at the time! In 1966, the first military coup was led by K Nzeogwu who was 29 years and countered by M.Mohammed 28, T. Danjuma 28, I. Babangida 25, J. Garba 23, Sani Abacha 23, and M. Yar'adua 23, And brought into power Y. Gowon 32, Ojukwu 33, Obasanjo 29, And Buhari 24! Most of the military governors who governed the states under the successive military regimes were under 30 years. Also, the brief democratic dispensation which interjected the military interregnums also saw some Senators and members of the House of Representatives, in particular, populated by persons under 30! Under 30's were also not in short supply with appointments - we have examples of MT Mbu who became Nigeria's Foreign Affairs Minister at 23 and Pat Utomi who became a Federal Adviser at 27 And so on and so forth! NOW: Why is it that almost all this age bracket is today still sleeping in 3-seater chairs in their parents’ homes? Why is it that this age bracket is today still collecting pocket money from their parents? Why is it that this age bracket is today still writing JAMB? Why is it that this age bracket today still 'sagg' their trousers? Why is it that this age bracket is today still searching for jobs and not yet married? Why is it that this age bracket is today no longer qualified to even be leaders of youth wings of political parties? Why is it that this age bracket is today so docile? Why is this age bracket today incapable of feeding itself? Why is it that this age bracket is today barred from even aspiring to certain political offices? Why is it that this age bracket is today incapacitated, unwilling, unable and incapable of asking questions? GOD BLESS NIGERIA!" From Prof Wole Soyinka. This is real Food for Thought! And some useless people will say Catholics worship idols..very funny..isn't it better to wear necklace with Jesus or Mary pictures than wearing and adoring ur pastors pictures.. These day people worship their pastors..hanging their images at their various homes claiming one thing or the other..all these satellite churches are victims of all these..though I don't hate them but their way of doing stuff very annoying... TEAM ROMAN CATHOLIC.. |
