Plz I can't see it clearly...how much was the total for Bayelsa State? |
Propaganda specialist... 1. Buhari cancels security votes outright 2. Buhari reduces security votes in budget by 25%. 3. Nos 1 & 2 are so conflicting statements as usual. 4. For a practice that started since 1983 (and practiced by all presidents and heads of state since then including GMB); GEJ was blamed specially and hence formed the focus of the discussion. 5. APC...leave propaganda and face governance ...Thank you! |
Thread dead on arrival. The blame goddess trying to prove that the dullard is parading an excellent economic team. Stupidity is when 1$ is sliding to N500 and nothing is being done about it, no economic plan, policy or direction and YOU are looking for Okonjo to compare with Adeosun. Mind U both Madams are never comparable both in paper qualifications, previous work experience, international recognition or self esteem. One is a local administrator the other is a world acclaimed boss. Deal with it...fuel cue is surfacing again with N120/L in some cities...barely 1month after the longest fuel crisis (3 months of N400/L) was overseen by your personal lord and saviour. This government lacks an economist...take it or leave it. |
APC and their penchant for inconclusiveness... Nigerian politicians except ..."GEJ"...don't know how to loose. It is win! Win!! And must Win!!! Well I don't blame them, I blame the Pastors that preaches Success, Success and Prosperity nothing less. |
Islamicpope:You are a shameless liar. Nigerian economy lacks direction at the moment. In terms of economy PMB is being ridiculed by total confusion and inaction. |
APC is a house divided on its own. Not minding all that Fashola begged them.
A child that says his Mama no go sleep...him too no go sleep. |
The worst thing a fool can do is to come out and defend any scam of a Nigerian politician because he can easily make U turn deny U, deny himself, deny his party and round U up in Ur foolhardy. Then Ur foolishness will be exulted in public Lol |
Even "Liar" Mohammed would be embarrassed by the level of inconsistency in the budget. It is simply indefensible and unamendable. |
Sweetlemon:My dear (sorry for calling U names initially), Drop the mentality of bringing the last administration on table when ppl are criticizing PMB's Bleep ups, it doesn't make him right in any way. Note that if things are followed strictly, govt. businesses should be shut down by now waiting for the budget to be passed (may be that's the reason I have not received my January salary by now, it never happen formerly). Contracts are not awarded and no body is on site for FG presently, it is affecting small businesses, casual workers, micro and macro economy of Nigerians and Nigeria. By right any spending by Govt. by now is very illegal and a criminal offense (including the money spent on PMB's last travel abroad)...it is called EXTRA BUDGETERY EXPENSES (that is exactly what Dasuki is being tried for). The National Assemble by right is supposed to sit and approve every kobo spent by Govt. via budget appropriation. Thank me for my time |
Sweetlemon:Zombie Detected!!! A budget is a govt.'s working document, it should honestly kick start by January. It should be submitted since August last year, that's why hand over is as early as May. He took several months just to pick his cabinet...may be he needed another SIX months to study and submit his budget. When someone is a dullar*d it means he is both mentally and physical slow. Truth be told PMB is both slow and unintelligent the only thing he gets going is his "hypocritic" integrity (body language). Even during implementation blame game and seasons will still surface. #civil servants too has enter the list of people to blame. |
There is a saying that "liars has multiple tongues". Once you build Ur govt. On lies, get ready to always be on defense. How come the civil servants no fear the much taunted Buhari's body odor that was "hurricane" the whole Nation by then. Civil servants smuggled and no one vetted the details...even as the sub totals was so glaring that dubious sums have been add to 2015 budget that PMB and APC so much criticized. It is a case of removing a sand on someone's eyes while a log is in yours. |
Govt. of propaganda...who we go ask for facts? When PDP was making such claims, APC was busy celebrating any new bomb blast as it was a yard stick for them to tell the masses how inefficient the Govt. Of the day was. Tell us when Boko Haram is finally wiped out and Chibok babes are back...you promised U will do this as soon as U get to power...it is about 8months now...so when are U going to deliver? Each day a new blast takes peoples lives..sons, daughter, wives, husbands, fathers, aunties, uncles, bread winners the loss is countless... |
Obiagelli:U have started to embrace the truth. That is exactly what every sane country would and is doing...but U have nailed it. |
Let me think first... Implement confab report...get true federalism...go 100% resource control...and finally get state or community police. Both power and resources belongs to the people it is their natural endowment from God. |
Power belong to the people... Whosoever has the resources is respected by his kinsmen...bombing in Niger Delta is a different ball game from bombing in the North East...somebori is talking sense into Sai Buhari to soft pedal |
One thing with Mummy Okonjo Iweala is that her integrity is like mount Zion. U can't smear her with media trial, she is always ready to lash U back with facts and put Ur confused head to shame and ridicule. She did same to the Senate by publishing 100s pages- text book to respond to just couple of questions she was asked abt her economic policies. |
We are currently the economic hub if not that APC government has failed to come up with policy directions for continuous growth we witnessed in the last couple of months. Concentrate of the present mandate till 2019 you scamers |
Millitariocracy led by an (unrepentant) dictatorial tyrant. |
Millitariocracy led by a dictatorial tyrant (unrepentant). |
Who ever comes to equity, must do so with clean hands else ridicule and mockery will follow. #corruption is fighting back...Lamorde has gone to exile, now Magu on the line... Buhari's integrity at stake...U can't keep on celebrating recovered funds on pages of newspaper and Niraland while no kobo is remitted yet into Government coffers. Propaganda has an expiring date. Who said PDP can not play opposition? |
sinhin:Ok...Scam |
FG Planning Zero-based Budget For 2016 – Osinbajo by wolesmile(m): 10:59am On Sep 16, 2015 Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo disclosed that the new system would be properly coordinated to ensure that it was policy- driven, especially the proposed social intervention policy of the president Mohammdu Buhari’s administration. Zero-based budgeting entails careful planning anchored on the needs and costs. It is different from the current Envelope Budgeting or traditionally incremental budgeting whereby the planning is based on existing income and expenditure as the deciding factor in national financial planning levels, which often incurs waste and assumes previous costs as constant. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/09/fg- planning-zero-based-budget-for-2016- osinbajo/ Buhari Copied Jonathan’s Budget – Soludo Jan 15, 2016. Former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Charles Soludo has stated that the 2016 budget presented by President Muhammadu Buhari was almost the same as the one presented by his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan. According to Soludo, the present budget was a carbon copy of the one by Jonathan’s government, adding that defeating old bad ideas could be better that initiating new ones. He said this while speaking at the 13th Daily Trust Dialogue in Abuja on Thursday. http://dailypost.ng/2016/01/14/buhari- copied-jonathans-budget-soludo According to Wikipedia, these are advantages and disadvantages of Zero-based budgeting: Zero-based budgeting requires that the budget request be re-evaluated thoroughly, starting from the zero-base; this involves preparation of a fresh budget every year without reference to the past. Advantages 1. Efficient allocation of resources, as it is based on needs and benefits rather than history. 2. Drives managers to find cost effective ways to improve operations. 3. Detects inflated budgets. 4. Increases staff motivation by providing greater initiative and responsibility in decision-making. 5. Increases communication and coordination within the organization. 6. Identifies and eliminates wasteful and obsolete operations. 7. Identifies opportunities for outsourcing. 8. Forces cost centers to identify their mission and their relationship to overall goals. 9. Facilitates more effective delegation of authority Zero-based budgeting helps in identifying areas of wasteful expenditure, and if desired, can also be used for suggesting alternative courses of action. Disadvantages 1. More time-consuming than incremental budgeting. 2. Justifying every line item can be problematic for departments with intangible outputs. 3. Requires specific training, due to increased complexity vs. incremental budgeting. 4. In a large organization, the amount of information backing up the budgeting process may be overwhelming. The big questions are: A. Why is APC always saying a thing and doing another (governance by deceit)? B. Why is VP- Osibanjo always not abreast with policies and happening in government (any time he makes a policy statement APC comes forth to deny him or it turns false or opposite)? |
omenka:Are U just deliberately mischievous or just a pitiable daft? |
I can't be deceived with this smoke screen. Let then organize a public donation to test their popularity after the elections. After all during elections, cattle rearers, yam farmers, market women etc were all donating money and "yams" to them. Let them go back to that old woman that donated her N 1mil life savings, she must have gathered a token since then...LOL. Have you lost the goodwill of the gullible public? Liars...APC can liar for lucifer!!! Rotimi Amaechi should return rivers state money to the people. Lobbing for VP with N50 mil but rather got snubbed and pushed to do the Jackie work as campaign coordinator, thought he will bag the SFG or COS but latter got a dismal minister of transport. The likes of Atikus and decampee PDP governors, Seraki, Dagora etc no send una... |
IspiksDaTroof: Keep on masturbating in lies and self denial. Keep on defending the indefensible... Next time address the issues raised, answer the questions one after the other if you can and stop abusing people who has refused to be gullible. |
The 2 persons directly (that commented) above me should go back and read PDP's argument and shout up quick. Interestingly this topic was on discourse in my office yesterday. 1. Is EFCC a competent law court of jurisdiction to decided a criminal case in her office? 2. What was the charges raised against him? 3. If (he) the accused is actually guilty of collecting bribe from arms deal, criminal diversion of fund or money laundry, what did the law say is his punishment? COLLECT PART OF THE MONEY BACK and DISCHARGE HIM HOME? 4. Remember FG said they will not enter plea bargain in any case of corruption, how come EFFC has turn to court and start dishing out plea bargain? 5.Where/what is his jail terms according to law? 6. PDP asked how much did he actually collect? From who? For what? (because he is APC member) so for what did he get the money from arms? Services or presidential campaign? 7. When is he going to pay the balance? #Nigeria is a joke #PMB is a joker #APC is a scam #EFCC is an attack dog against opposition |
Please this story is too sweet, even without source! Seraki jamming the heads of PDP and APC since the commencement of his CCT saga. |
Can some body remember how many billion Naira was gathered by PDP on her pre election fund raising? It was covered live in National TVs. Does it mean that any money traced to any of the PDP chieftain is from Arms deal, didn't they spend the money I mentioned above? Can somebody calculate GEJ's monthly security vote for 5 yrs; my governor use to collect N1bil monthly the that oil was liquid gold. |
The fundamental issue is that FG has not even prepared a CONCLUSIVE budget yet. Not to talk of Senate (NASS) approval. Not to talk of disbursement and implementation by "noise makers" MINISTERS. But a minister that is brainy should have had a workable blue print or policy direction by now waiting for funds to swing into action of course he/she should be trying hard by now to sell such ideas to masses and test its popularity. #No minister yet |
I don't even understand what is happening in this Govt. I think kero was peg at N50, why does this APC ppl bring more hardship to the ppl even as their praise worshipers continue to suffer and smile. Does it mean that the effect of the technically removed subsidy on petroleum products is here to increase the woos of the masses. The fuel that FG enforce filling station to sell at N86.5 remain N130 in most capital cities and over N150 in villages and it has become a norm. I pity the poor masses in my village! |
A man that uses helicopter to go up and take coc*aine just for fun of it. And when he straff a young lady she goes home with N1mil. A man that never stayed in government house for 1 complete week. (Sun to Mon) for 5 yrs without going to party in PH or ABJ or abroad.... He is back to his lifestyle! |
