Thanks much any tips about using WES?

Can I make the school to send both her certificate, wes form and transcripts?

Instead of me paying dhl money twice?

Yes, my friend once collected her sealed transcript from school and sent both her certificate copy and the transcript together. Wes did not query it.
As per tips, just be following up from the naija end. That is where the delay mostly comes from.

@esosa4real, i used wes and my degree was assessed as equivalent to a 4 yr canadian qualification.

My sister, congrats on your aussie waka, how far gone now,?

She needs her education to be evaluated by csmls before she can take their exam. Hmmmm, their requirements are much since the last time i visited their website. I really dont know why mls is limited there, it s not a degree course. I found oz system was much more favorable.
Good luck in your canada waka

Kindly note that i am a member if that thread. Nobody ever mentioned school ranking t
That is my 3 cowries

....and that was why i said it depends on the assessing body. Vetassess is well known to be crazy in their assessment. I bet you, most of the other assessing bodies like engineer australia are not like that.

My sister, congrats on your aussie waka, how far gone now, Are you working?

btw, I am a doctor having interest in the Canadian express entry and will soon be evaluating my fiancés Med lab degree but I don't know which body to use. Do you by chance know if WES is allowed for an accompany applicant?

Also, as regards oz, while I am processing cana, is it possible and wise for her to process oz? just in case?

Still on it. Why not, she can go for assessment with aims. From what i have gathered so far, medicine is more favorable in oz than in canada for those with foriegn qualification.

What most people do not understand or simply fail to say is that, not all Universities get positive assessment for PR route.

If you've studied a 4year course in any university other than the top rank Nigerian university(OAU, ABU, UniZik and the likes) you are sure going to get a negative assessment. They have their own ranking list for Nigerian institutions.

PR route is just for people with 5years Nigerian university study.

Secondly, if your work experience is with nameless organizations, sorry for you as well.

You can claim work experience onky when you have enough proofs for the employment.

I keep hearing PR route, but no one comes foward with proper education in this area. Hence, falling gbagada for floor is inevitable

If your uni degree is a 4year course, and you are not from top notch Nigerian Uni, oga jejely go thru study. Yes it is more expensive, time consuming, but way better than living in this shithole called Nigeria(i.e if you have similar family background that has no connection in Nigeria, like me.)

That is not true. Getting a positive assessment depends entirely on your assessing body.

The point is that I have just less than three years work experience and am 30 years old. Thinking of how to get the 60points and considering my little experience, won't it affect my assessment ?

Age: 30
english (7 in all bands): 10,
qualification (10),
state sponsorship:10

.....and you have your 60points. Make hay when the sun shines.

Dear Bellong and other gurus, please i will like to confirm if polio certificate requirement by DIBP is for adults and children OR children only. I have immunization record card for my kids and this includes polio, can this suffice as a certificate?.

If it includes adults, how do i get the certificate?.

Please advice, as we are hoping for a direct grant and not back and forth with CO.

Everybody needs it. You have to get the yellow fever card. If the kid's polio vaccination is than a year, then dont need the vaccination again. Polio vaccination and yellow fever vaccination are all included in the card.

Hello guys, I got my assessment today by Australian Institute of Medical Scientists but unfortunately, I was assessed as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) instead of Scientist (MLS). Though, am thinking of applying for re-assessment.

Also, I claimed 5 years 1 month work experience which they acknowledged and stated that it equates to work at an appropriately skilled level. They however stated that they've assessed me as MLT with more than 3 years of experience. So, am I suppose to stick to the 5 years 1 month or more than 3 years experience?

Lastly, which state or territory is accepting nomination for MLT currently and the visa category as I don't want to waste time.

NB: MLT is only on CSOL while Medical Laboratory Scientist is only both SOL and CSOL.

Thanks guys and am looking forward to your response
Aims recognised your whole experience. You can only apply as mlt, mls is open for those that passes the assessment examination
For now, northern territory and queensland are sponsoring mlt. My advice is to go for queensland. They are fast in their turn around time and can sponsor you for 190. NT will give u only 489 after about 3 months of applying with them.
In terms of the proof of funds for queensland, you are only required to show proof of a certain amount. Build your acct and you are good to go.
Cheers.

Thanks guys

Where you will be classified is dependent on where you did your degree. Now that you have been classified as mlt, you can only be assessed as mls when you pass the professional exam. However you can proceed with mlt and seek nomination with either northern territory or queensland.

In other to prove spouse has functional english, Some COs are comfortable with just a letter from school while some will want to request for the transcript. Just include it in other to decrease time waiting for grant.

Normal. Dibp requires you send your pte result online. If you use only hard copy during application, they will still contact you to do it, thereby resulting in delays.
