BusinessRe: North’ll Kill Petroleum Industrial Bill-ex-minority Leader by okoomoge2(m): 12:43am On Jun 27, 2011
Guys, don't shout too much about the comments of the North about PIB.
Leave it or take Allison maduake's KIP is to ensure the PIB's content is doctored to put Shell in a win-win position. She is from the South-Sou
th.
The Exxon big boys in Dallas have also set KPI for the likes of MPN essien-dainer to ensure PIB favours the operation of Exxon in Nigeria, she is from akwa-ibom.
Mutiu sumonu of SPDC would put the orders from the Hague first before national interest, he is from SW,Alek musa of Total would do what he is been told from la defense paris (Total).
Senators of different tribes would collect money MNC.
I am sorry for my Country.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Testimonies Of Graduates With 2.2 And Below And How They Made It. by okoomoge2(m): 12:25pm On Jun 24, 2011
I did had terrible experiences at first, I remembered sitting for an aptitude test and came third overall but got the shock of my life during second stage of interview.
Someone among the interview panel said I did I manage to get to this level, they had an argument someone mentioned to him this guy was invited because he scored so high in the aptitude test, age wise he is still young just 21yrs old then though he graduated with 2-2.
To cut the story the interview stopped midway because on dude insisted that they were to employ people with at least 2-1.
I cried and felt bad.
I got my first job out of sheer luck and God.
It was not easy, you can still get invited for Shell-SITP test even with 2-2
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Testimonies Of Graduates With 2.2 And Below And How They Made It. by okoomoge2(m): 11:57pm On Jun 21, 2011
The truth is some 2-2 graduate are actually first class material but graduated with 2-2 due to distraction, juvenile deliquences and age.
I graduated with 2-2(3.47) so painful that I cried because I was sure of making a 2-1. The disappointment of not making 2-1 made me feel challenged.
I worked with the likes of Exxonmobil, shell,Acergy and Saipem before God took me abroad as an expatriate.
I give glory to God for his mercies.
All I need to say be prepared,so when opportunity drops by unexpectedly you grab with both hands.
HealthRe: How To Get My Wife Pregnant ? by okoomoge2(m): 1:53pm On May 31, 2011
if a woman menstrate, medically she's got chances of ovulating!
HealthRe: How To Get My Wife Pregnant ? by okoomoge2(m): 1:47pm On May 31, 2011
Guy,

your wife should study her cycle ,  to increase the chances of her getting pregnant you must make love to her consistently prior to her ovulation and after her ovulation .

if she is on 28 days cycle , and her menstrual period is 5 days then count 9 days after her last period i.e 14 days from the beginning of her period. you guys should make love 2 days before she ovulates, the day she ovulates   leave  a gap of one day and make love again.

for her to know she is ovulating her bosom would be tender, her body temperature would increase and her womanly secretion would be sticky.

As for you increase your Zinc intake , search for Korean ginseng tea and make sure you drink loads of water daily. then exercise regularly

the ultimate key is God , Pray Pray Pray and Pray . Please don't be too anxious , when anxiety sets in it is very diffcult for a woman to conceive.

I don't know if you could get ovulation predicting kit in Nigeria, Your Sperm needs to be healthy as well.

All the best .
PoliticsRe: The Truth Behind Dangote's $2 Million Dollars To Develop Africans by okoomoge2(m): 11:24am On May 11, 2011
Dangote is by far better than the whole lots shell, exxonmobil,Total,Agip and the whole lots of MNC in 9ja.
Those folks MNC are after what they can get from the resources of the country and not on capacity development.

I know Dangote Company need to do more on capacity development for Nigerians

EducationRe: Ramano: You Ask Why University Of Ilorin Was Rated First 1st In Nigeria. by okoomoge2(m): 4:43am On Mar 04, 2011
@2good
Oko-omoge,
The B.ENG and BSC term in Nigeria is just a nomenclature.( Schools were not just set up to award B.Eng or B.sc)But you cannot compare the success of Unilorin grauduates with graduates of schools like UI, OAU, UNILAG, UNN, ABU & UNIBEN.
Every school have an Alumni in top positions in major Oil and Gas companies, so your post on knowing graduates from the few universities which you personally selected because of the BENG ( Agree) thing doesnt hold ground.
I myself have worked with graduates from ESUTECH, ILORIN, UI, OAU, CALABAR, PHC, EKPOMA etc in the oil and gas industry and discovered that its more of the person and not the school we all attach importance to. Your success is determine by how well you develop yourself (Very True)An average graduate of engineering whether BSC or B.ENG can be trained to do any job needed by their employer. But the six universities listed above still attract the best brains in Nigeria simply because people believe that the first generation univerties have the best standard in Nigeria.
Also, mind you that the Oil and gas industry is one of the lowest employer of labour compared to the size of their operations and investment, so there are other sectors of the economy that employs people.
In summary, enough with this school comparison because like I said in an earlier post, the main thing is what value your degree can bring in your career pursuit.( Your development stage is very important )
EducationRe: Ramano: You Ask Why University Of Ilorin Was Rated First 1st In Nigeria. by okoomoge2(m): 10:42pm On Mar 03, 2011
I don't normally comment on issues like this but I like to say ABU has produced More Engineers that are currently top Executives with major MNC .
If you work in the oil and Gas Industry specifically Shell, NLNG and Exxon Mobil, you would understand what I mean.

Shell Western Region has alot of top executives who graduated from Unilorin
SNEPCO currently has a Vice President in charge of Gas ( Graduated from Unilorin )
SPDC currently has Director of Development who graduated from ( ABU)
ExxonMobil has GM ( Development Project) Unilorin
Exxon Mobil has Technical Manager (  Major Project -Pipelines) -Unilorin
ExxonMobil has Senior Project Manager ( Development Project)-Unilorin
NLNG has Senior Project Managers ( Who graduated from Unilorin)
Shell Eastern Region has alot of Uniben Old boys calling the shots.

All these is just to mention a few. I have had the privilege of working in the Major Engineering Centres i.e Houston, Paris, Aberdeen and Currently an expatriate  in Perth. I can  confidently  say Unilorin has done the Nation proud in the field of Engineering, to even attest to this met a dude  recently ( Igbo dude) at a conference in Perth with a pure American Accent and can be taken has an African America but Alas the dude is a pure Igbo dude who left 9ja in the mid 80's graduated from Unilorin and currently Vice - President with Schlumberger in Houston.

P.s  On Personal Note : ABU ( B.Eng), Uniben( B.ENG),Unilorin(B.Eng) is different from Unilag (B.SC), UI(B.sc) or OAU(B.sc)

Schools that give B.Eng , B.tech have a better curricular than schools that offer B.sc to Engineering Graduate.

Ask from Senior Guys about ABU Top Guns.

CareerRe: What Does It Take To Be A World-class Engineer? by okoomoge2(m): 1:13am On Oct 12, 2010
You can never be a world class Engineer in Nigeria!
I used to work in Multinational Oil Company but had to turn in the Paper to go work abroad for me to be an international player in my specialist field.

Most of the Concept Engineering , BOD, FEED are done abroad,  real engineering expertise  come to bear from Concept through BOD's, FEED.

My former company would not take advice from a bloody Nigeria Top Engineer without sending a mail for confimation to Houston, even if the Houston Guy's are wrong their judgement comes before yours, Most of my peers back then school at imperial, UCL,Herriot Watt, MIT, UponTyne, Cranfield and still yet no one takes our engineering judgement.

My Brother, if you are in for the money stay in 9ja but if you want to put your name on the world scale, you need to go work abroad with world class companies that are known for Patent stuffs!

@ busy bodi ! where are you in OZ, I am based in OZ precisely Perth. live on MillPoint Road South Perth not far from Mends Street!

OZ is really beautiful with lovely weather, I came as an Expatriate Engineer so cannot really tell you much about student visa application but would tell you OZ is full of opportunities for Engineers, Doctors, Teachers, Lecturers and Nurses.

Once you are on PR , you are given $A 5000 for your baby, OZ people do not like work . They live a laid back life and take things pretty in Perth where I am based but the same can not be said of Sydney and Melb.

Perth is Like Port Harcourt mainly for Oil Workers - Chevron Holds ground here
Sydney is like Abuja/Calabar
Melb is a reflection of Lagos- Exxon Mobil rules here
Brisbane is vibrant as well
Adel is laid back
Canberra is the capital of OZ,it in between Syd and Mel

I hope this help sha.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Leaders Most Corrupt In The World -jega by okoomoge2(m): 1:48pm On Sep 25, 2010
Hmmmm   Nigeria government is Corrupt !!!!!

I am black and proud to be black !!! from time immoral black man have had shallow reasoning and can not prepare for the future . We live in the present and scared of the future, that is why you see people at the slightest opportunity they furnish their  vault with stolen Public funds and Company funds. Don't be deluded Corruption is everywhere from the United Kingdom to Australia to America to Russia  but there is a system in place to check mate corruption at all levels within this countries.

Until  we eradicate  materialism  at all levels within the country and put realistic measures to tackle corruption in place, we are joking,
No Court of law can try influential and highly connected individuals in Nigeria. ( Judiciary loophole)
No Bill within the Constitution  clearly state what punishment to be melted on corrupt public holder.( legislative Insincerity)
Elected Executive came into power through Selection and not Election ( Executive deficiency )

So what do you except with the combination of loophole, Insincerity and Deficiency huhhuh sheer Disaster

Archbishop dey London, Pope dey Rome, Imam dey for Meccca.
Imam na lagbadun, Pope na Enjoyment

When FELA sang this song people assumed he was crazy back then in the late 70's ,  BABA 70 na our own of version of the man who saw tommorrow .

The olden day Baptist, Seven Day Adventist , e.t.c where places to learn values,  Christains/Pastors of past years  till mid 80's  were very down to earth and damn Godly.

May God deliver us ooooooo, people that brought religion of christ to us self are not as prayerful as us again but are we as truthful as they are ?
Do we really love our brothers with a plain Heart?
It is written in the Bible that you are the church ,  what happened to this statementhuh?

PoliticsRe: DaLover: 80% Of Nigeria Oil Is Not Produced In OMPADEC(niger delta). by okoomoge2(m): 4:05am On Jun 13, 2010
I am not from Niger Delta but I have worked long in Niger Delta as a Subsea Pipeline Engineer that pipe the Oil & Gas from Production Platform to Oil& Gas Terminals, Understands the subsea Production Architecture for FSO & FPSO and also come from a family of Engineers!

My brothers the quest for deepwater development started way back in 1995 with Appriasal studies for fields like Bonga, Agbami, Usan, Oyo, Sea Eagle. Royal Dutch Company who first found commercial oil found it in oloibiri in the Creek of Bayelsa in the year 1952-54 , commercial oil was be produced in 1956.
Please do not say what you donot know, Please Go research about the meaning of the would "Delta" and link it up with formation of Oil and Gas natural formation, please read about Petroleum Geoscience /Geophysics, Resevior Engineering , Well dynamics, Sedimentology.

I am not a lawyer but from Travelling and residing in oyinbo countries, I know oyinbo people protect their Land as per Heritage.
In the Uk where we have alot of onshore pipelines , you pay royalities to local community Newcastle Upon Tyne for Example.

A good example is the current Shakalin Development in Russia, Shell is not finding it easy with local community ( Russia ), the Government of Russia put the people first despite joint venture interest with multinational.

In Abeerden, the Hub of Europe Oil & Gas Industry, who born you well not to homage to Abeerden people first in term of jobs opportunity.

France do not produce oil locally, but go to Paris and see Engineering Companies/Producing Coy - Technip, Acergy and Total. They protect their people wella , I mean locally Parisian employee.

I rest my Case,
