My own take on this goes thus:

Define your targets to clearly define your path to your goals.
Starting in a small company or large compnay is not the issue but where you wanna end up in the career path you have chosen.
I started in big oil and gas service company and was seconded to a multinational oil and gas company and was saddled with the responsibilities of staying up most nights to read in order to catch up with the experienced expat.s I worked with , what you lack in experience you would make up for with you willing and wanting to know attitude.
I just worked for the oil service for one yr before juicy offers came calling and I have moved into a more defined career path as a disciple design Engineer in another company and offers are still coming.

Just know what ur targets are and prepare to hit it. pls seek for knowledge first b4 money sha.

This country of ours is a country that I regret being a national I must confess!
I can tell you for real that some politician have upto 2bn cash in their house( Hard currency and Naira)
In this same country I know of a guy that lives in VGC and has up to 14 Cars with the lowest car a 2006 BMW convertible, In this same country heard with my own ears no be same dem tell me 30millon to be given to a politician to contest against the Governors candidate for House of assembly.
The same country one past Governor had what they call normal fajee with Guys and their Ashewos in one dead end called akodo town in lagos( you get to ajah then you take a speed boat to the location), spent close to 3.5mill for a nite on fajee.
The same country where commissioners of Governors launder money and take 20% of the total dough as compensation, The same country where our leaders involve in hardcore shady deals that people must not hear.
I weep for 9ja, this country is doomed, it can never get better. My heart bleeds so badly only if I could just get another citizenship and my generations would cease to be 9jarians.

The problem is the poverty level thats da koko , leave or take it. I know of 9ja babes who would not collect a dime from you cash or anyother stuff but who love for who u are, the problem is they really few but they exist.

Eddie, I know how it feels as I am facin the same problem.
Ladies donot just trust guys that they know can easily have another lady if he wishes! I think the problem they have is insecurity and they find it had to love you with their whole heart.
Man it really hurts when you are not trusted, I personally donot double date either and  I believe you when you said so about yourself.
I am not a playboy but the ladies have dated had one point in time told me yemi you are a player, but I keep telling them I am not and would never been one, as it does not pay being a player at all.

I would say it better to marry a lady when you are just growing ( career wise,financially).
once you have arrived it is really difficult to know who is who.
