Offpointng:You talk about the future what about the present? I am referring to the ones that came from Mali, Niger etc hiding in your forests killing, robbing, kidnapping, raping your women in your presence. Are those ones Igbos too? Or you look the other way when it comes to them and out of political convenience? |
Same thing as saying i don't eat beans only moi moi and akara. |
Biggest joke of the century |
It is unfortunate that the poor lady was kidnapped. But let me tell you what doesn't make sense to me. 1. Terrorist groups all over the world and all through history take responsibility for their actions and justify them as part of what is required in achieving there goals. IPOB (the real IPOB) has constantly denied these. 2. The Nigerian Army since the Owerri prison break of April 2021, has always been to quick to blame IPOB even before investigation takes place. 3. The Nigerian Army themselves have never blamed Fulani herders in the southern part of Nigeria for crimes committed by themselves. They rather take sides with them by harassing the host community. This is a notorious fact. 4. The Nigerian Army has so many check points in the South East and they cause (in a sadistic way) untold hardship on travellers and sometimes kidnapping happen or gun shots are heard meters away from these check points but they remain there. 5. They criminals are based in the forests but the Nigerian Army only combs the forests to kill ESN but not criminal herders. 6. How will the Nigerian Army explain the killings, kidnapping and other crimes in other parts of the country since they can easily explain the ones in the south east as perpetuated by ESN? So which group will they blame for the ones happening in the South South, South West, North Central, North West and the North East? 7. ESN was formed around December 2020 which groups will the Nigerian Army blame for the crimes that have been occurring before their formation. 8. What manner of intelligence is used that makes the Nigerian Army know that IPOB/ESN committed the crimes to which they are accused when they have not found the victim, captured the perpetutors nor found their whereabouts? 9.Many victims who escaped or were released often gave damning indictments that some people in the Nigerian Army or Police did business with these people. Of course the Nigerian Army hierarchy now heavily politicized would dismiss these claims, give vague reassurances and even without investigating these claims will be quick to invalidate them. 10. The Nigerian Army's response to indigenes of an area where a crime has been committed against one of their own is to come back, kill, loot and burn down the place. Yet nothing is said, nothing is heard from our elected officials who are currently seeking our votes by the way. No army officer is tried for these crimes against humanity in which they terrorise the peasantry. |
Foolish man |

It is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubts. These politricktians must take us for guilible masses. |
Gaffes apart, it is bad enough that APC failed on their promises and in all spheres of governance but it is even worse that Tinubu brought in Buhari who presides over the failure (while blaming the failure on others). It is indeed a sad commentary that even after a disastrous first four years (2015-2019) Tinubu supported Buhari for another four years (2019-2023). The biggest contradiction to Tinubu's campaign is his assessment of his party's performance. This assessment varies depending on the type of audience he is talking about. Sometimes he affirms that the current government has done well and he would continue their "good works" at other times he would subtly admit that the failure is caused by "enemies of the state" and not the government. But the major motivation to govern the country is that it is his turn to rule as a reward for supporting Buhari. To me such a person is simply a cartoon character. But if he is real enough to be worthy of serious consideration then Nigerians themselves are not serious in discerning the difference between good governance and terrible rule. There is a limit to comedy, this is serious. |
Another attempt at subjugation of our voices. The DSS who hardly obey court orders and should be quoting the constitution is busy quoting the Bible and Quoran to justify premeditated plans to threaten religious leaders. We won't allow them to turn Nigeria to Iran. |
Was Goodluck Jonathan the state governor of 36 states and FCT when this same government was blaming him? Was PDP in charge of all states when the APC government said "blame it on PDP's 16 years? Umu Eli uwa! |
Very silly talk by the Governor of the apex Bank. The rapid fall in Naira is not a consequence of the demand for foreign currency for legitimate reasons as travelling abroad but as a result of too much borrowing for consumption, lack of diversification of the economy and no attempts to increase our exports earnings. |
Of course Tinubu is right it is a waste of money. Now that the party conventions are over APC going to the south east to campaign is not only a waste looted money but a baa baa blu. |
Ee wan thief Donald Duke fineness. E for go for Stephen Alajemba (Uwaezuoke) childhood pic that way no one will suspect him. |
When Boko Haram said they trusted Buhari to be their representative no one raised am eye brow. When Buhari said an attack on boko haram is an attack on the north no one said anything. When governors Shettima and Masari posed for pictures with boko haram and bandits it did not matter. Did you expect a sensible man like Obi to condemn a group accused of all manner of things even when the group denies these accusations? We aren't fools. Terrorists groups all over the world take responsibility for their acts not deny them. The speed at which the press and the police label any gun battle, killing or kidnapping as carried out by ESN without the rigors of investigation is that they want to call a dog a bad name just to hang it. These crimes have existed before ESN was established in late 2020 so who was committing it then? Why is the army not quick to swing it's axe on bandits in our forests with the same speed they used to crush the ESN? Is it also the ESN (less than two years old in existence) that carries out crimes in other parts of the country outside the south east? If millions of Nigerians remain fooled I am certainly not one of them. |
Bush2013:Amen |
It's a pity. This man was my senior at FGC Okigwe (89 graduating set). He was a kind hearted prefect, very humble and unassuming. This is a very big blow. May his soul rest in peace. However his name is Muhammed and not Mustapha. Mustapha was his late father's name, a one time Chief Judge of the Federation. |
Tinubu may go to Europe and America as president and speak thus "Ladies and Gentlemen I am here as the Governor of United African Republic. My party the All Progresive Grand Alliance.... sorry All Progressive Congress is the biggest politrickal party in all of Asia. My deputy governor Mr. Shettima would continue the rest of my speech as I have an urgent matter to attend to in the city of my birth Chicago. |
God bless PDAPC |
Prof Soludo we are not voting Peter Obi because we know he will win. We are voting for the best candidate among others regardless of the outcome of the election. Let the "so called winners" get their votes from other people not people like us. |
obi58:You even have time and data to reply idiots. |
Obaseki says they (labour party) are not on ground but are only seen virtually. He could have put his theory to test by allowing labour party the use of the stadium then we shall know whether it is 4 people with laptops or not. |
PDP Anambra branch and PDP South East are wasting their time. Obi's matter here (as per votes) is a long gone forgone conclusion. In other words it is no longer prophetic to say that most voters will not be voting for parties in 2023 but for personalities. |
What Wike is too arrogant to understand is that Rivers people like many other Nigerians are not interested in voting along party lines especially for the presidency. Most are Obidient and the effect of Wike campaigning for Atiku or against him has but a small Marginal effect. |
olasaad:Abeg go and sit down. Did you read anything on religion here? The ban was based on business ethics and alleged malpractice which will be lifted when certain things are ascertained. It does not in anyway make Nigeria a theocratic state. |
There is nothing wrong with what the woman did. But what I want to know is your reason for posting it here. You aren't asking for a solution to a problem or an advice so what's the point? Finally, you said you will stop being nice to her because of she told you the truth. Please do not discontinue your kindness to her. Continue to show her kindness while calmly telling her you are not interested. One day she will get used to it. |
Okay convince me. |
Are you playing? What type of playing is this? |
This is a good one. |
Maybe they should write to INEC to disqualify Peter Obi too. |
I am a full time Obidient but not an extremist. Even Peter Obi can never support what the so called pastor have said. All these talk about dealing severely with minority opinions must cease. Whether it is calls to chase away non-obidients, Muslims from Igbo land or chasing away Igbos from Lagos or Christians from the north. What rubbish! |
Peter Obi simply read what was written. He is right in condemning it. He should not be condemned by Deji for showing it. Afterall we see people write trashy things like this all over the social media. |
Throwback:How much words has Tinubu uttered to the herdsmen menace in the south west? Oh! I remember now he said "how do you know the attackers were herdsmen? Where are the cows? How many times has Tinubu talked about the misrule by President Buhari since 2015? How can Tinubu say he wants to rule to proffer solutions for problems caused by the man he helped to secure power? #EMILOKAN |
