Ponponkon: ANOTHER ONE
This is Ibadan Street by Obohia Road in Aba, Abia State Just Ready To Use. We won't forget to thank Ekcleen Integrated Nig. Ltd who speedily, showcased quality job to all international standard, perfect start. More Blessings, to our able revolutionist, Dr Victor Okezie Ikpeazu and his seasoned administrative team, in their untiring efforts to bring Aba back to the road map in the South East. Residents are quite pleased, some joyfully, danced on the street praising God for giving them a Governor as OVI. Kudos Sir.
Abia Ga Adi Nma Ozo ooooooo. Ekele Diri Jehova. l don't understand his penchant for repairing short streets like Victoria, Agharandu and Co. When is he going to start the major roads like Uratta, omuma, osusu, eziukwu, ohanku, obohia, Ibere/Ohazu/Ozuomba and others too many to mention. How many governors did Dave Umahi invited for all the transformation going on in Ebonyi State? If he could invite a Governor at this stage l wonder what he will do after the completion |

At least AJ is in Britain, so he will date the girls around him. You don't expect him to date Nigerian women
You people are in Nigeria with the likes of Uche Jombo and Ufuoma, yet, oyibo snatched them from under your noses and you want to list bad manners of Naija girls? Chris Attoh snatched Damilola from under your noses as well.
The unfortunate naija women that spend their lives with naija men end up running away because of his animalistic ways.
Before you critic the ladies, don't forget, na the same mama wey train those 'gluttonous' women train the men too, so, na the same character dem go comot with
If the women are bad, the men too are bad.
If this Nicole girl now was a Nigerian girl, y'all would call her olosho, baby mama and all that, but because she's British, you won't talk the usual smack.

You all hate the igbos for no justifiable reasons. From 1970 after the civil war ended till date. If you hand over the presidency to the igbos ,the same hate and fight against GEJ will resurface. If anything goes wrong it will be blame upon blame. The problem of the Igbo man is ,allow him to be on his own and you on your own simple!
we can't play anything with you be it politics or any game because you hate us due to obvious differences. Go your way and let me go my way simple!
Everywhere is calm because an almajiri is on the throne. The economy is in shambles, education is down, employment rate is over 96%,infrastructure ,security and health are almost at a halt,Fulani are on a killing spree nation wide.No one is protesting and no propaganda is on despite almost 500 naira to 1$ all because a gworo chewing man is on the thrown.
supposing it was an Igbo man on the throne, holla Lagos to sokoto would have been hit by unending protest.
say the truth ,which is be alone while I am left alone for the sake of peace. God bless you dear. |

idupaul: First thing we should know the decline in oil prices is not commensurate to the level of drop our economy has witnessed. . Have you asked yourself that that despite low oil prices and virtually no democratic structure on ground plus no foreign reserve and a heavy debt profile how Obasanjo managed to steer the country to some growth ..Mr I will highlight some poor decisions made by a visionless Buhari (I also voted for him oo) that virtually nuked the Nigerian economy.
Before President Buhari was sworn in Oil prices had spiralled down plus he was taking over from an exceptionally corrupt govt led by the meek GEJ. A wise leader taking over such affairs will not do some things ..below are things Buhari shouldn't have done ..
1: He shouldn't have spent more than six months choosing his ministers and team ..Knowing that we were in an era of low oil revenues Buhari should have hit the ground running in a manner that will inspire confidence in the NIGERIAN economy but he didn't rather he left the country without a policy framework or directionfor 6 months .
2: The ridiculous MTN fine : 6 months after his inauguration Buhari suddenly realises he has low revenue from oil and take advantage of the simplest registration penalty to slap MTN the largest fine ever heard in human history , a ridiculous fine of 5 billion dollars ..that immediately set most multinationals who had been operating under lax Nigerian laws to find parallel means of expatriating over 80 billion dollars out of the country in under 3 weeks just in case the govt of the new sheriff decided to clamp down on their profits still housed in Nigeria..Ironically the president couldn't even get MTN to pay the 5 billion dollar as it was reviewed to some really paltry some to be paid small small over time but the damage was already done .
3: For years most people knew our Banks relied on govt patronage for a large percentage of its deposits..Mr Buhari in his visonles manner goes on to pull the rug over night by implementing TSA a 100 percent instead of the piece meal fashion recommended by those who even created the TSA in the first place, the banking industry was suddenly hit with a massive withdrawal symptom that also cascaded into the real private sector including small businesses .
4: When oil prices are low oil producing country usually ramp up production to try to use volume to counter losses realised form low oil margins and that why Saudi Arabia this year increased production levels to a record high ..In Nigeria what did Buhari do? Buhari chose such are time to declare Tompolo wanted for a supposed fraud of 13 billion naira thereby throwing the region into chaos as militants took to the offensive to avoid arrest. .this action further cut down our production by another half meaning despite low oil price Mr Buhari now had to deal with low output and production.
5: Recently as production started to pick up the Army announced it was deploying 10 thousand soldiers to the region ..I don't have a problem with that but why announce it ..By announcing it tension is again heightened in the region. .Abacha deployed more troops to the Niger delta but never announced it sef .
Bro I can go on and on ..the truth is that Buhari can never make a great leader and will never .he doesn't have that vision and prefers knee jerk action to well thought out solutions Chop knuckle bro. Ur school fees is not a waste |
Politics › Re: No Confab Report, No Nigeria, Falae Insists by okwentency: 12:07am On Jun 02, 2016 |
freeze001: I had my reasons for asking you if you had any idea of the contents of that report. Your response here shows you don't. You see, Nigeria's first problem is her constitution. Chapter II tells of all the duties owed the citizens by the government yet prevents citizens from being able to question the failure of the government to meet these fundamental duties because the court is expressly robbed of that power.
The CONFAB effectively recommends a decentralised government with the regions responsible for their funding and development with agreed shares to the centre. The reason states are in dire straits and unable to pay salaries is that their major source of income, oil, hit the rocks due to price crashes along with kleptomaniac leaders/thieves in power from time immemorial. Now with self development which the CONFAB recommends, there will almost immediate diversification of the economy which the FG has never been successful in. This must happen because not all regions have oil...simple! Therefore they must discover and develop what they do have. Regions having to cater for themseves in smaller units will decide how many administrative units or lgas they need, no more arbitrary creation by the NASS.
The National Assembly is also recommended by the CONFAB to be on part time basis with allowances paid per sitting. This will definitely reduce the amount they control now. With six regions, there will be no need for the over bloated number of NASS members we have now and they will be paid by their regional govts to represent them at the centre.
Developmental needs will be met faster because a lot of things on the Executive list will be shed and the Central govt will mainly control external security covering the Army, Navy and Air Force, foreign/external relations, minting and printing of currency, inter state roads, railways etc. Policing will be purely regional for internal security. A region can easily partner with investors and build refineries, seaports, airports, other critical infrastructure, control and operate them and thus generate revenue for itself.
I cannot go on and on here cos there's so many details but hopefully this gives u an idea. So yes, our current system of govt encourages too much corruption and being as far removed/isolated from the people as they are, it is difficult to demand accountability. And so to answer your questions, it is implementation of CONFAB that will change the mind of those blowing up our pipelines; demand good governance and accountability for all Nigerians as a matter of law and necessity; make Bayelsa, Ekiti, Osun, Yobe, Imo and all other states self sufficient enough to pay salaries and develop speedily and stop us from paying our legislators the highest salary in the world.
The recommendations of the CONFAB do not favour any political party or region so it has nothing to do with PDP. Don't mind them they already know the truth. |

MyX1: Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu revealed that between May 29th he took oath of Office as the governor of Abia State, his administration has built and completed 27 Roads. Governor Ikpeazu stated this during a Quarterly Media briefing with Journalists at Banquet Hall of the Abia State Government House in Umuahia Ikpeazu said that his administration began with 67 Roads in the State and 27 has been successfully completed as even his worst critic's knows that the roads he had completed will last for a Minimum of 25 Years. Which 27 roads? Is it park road, Pound road, st Michaels, Hospital, jubilee, Azikiwe, Market, Tenant, Cameroun, Ehi, Clifford and School road that were tarred before. Let him show us Uratta road, Omuma road, Faulks road, Ohanku road, Obohia road and the infamous Ibere/Ohazu/Ozioma streets, he used as a campaign gimmick. Not forgetting Porthacourt road and the rest. |

68% fuel price hike + 45% electricty tariff hike + 100% VAT increase + 9% airtime tax + 100% Naira depreciation. Dinner is served Nigerians
Since Buhari took over there's no product or service in Nig that d price has remained the same; everything is up and you say ure for d poor
Crude prices are still dropping yet the APC announce an over 50% increase in d price of PMS? So what were Fashola & the rest saying last yr?
Fuel will sell for N40 they said, well they didn't tell us there was a hidden figure before the 40! Nigerians welcome to change @akaebube
'If anyone tells you that fuel subsidy exists, that person is a fraud'~ GMB, 2012.
It took him 11months to learn
Every passing day we find out that #OccupyNigeria was political and not economical. How else do you explain the silence?
I still see pictures of Tunde Bakare jumping at Abiola Garden chanting "GEJ must go!" in #OccupyNigeria Still fresh in my memory
20 litres in ur car & 10 litres for Gen at 145 Naira for 30 days is N130,500. Nepa bill, food and miscellaneous excluded. Let that sink in
Buhari simply increased petrol price, you don't remove subsidy and still fix the price...don't let "them" fool you...this is CRIMINAL!!
Since it's now N145 a litre , food prices and everything naturally going to go up...
Apart from ur salary .
So we are back to 2012 on this fuel subsidy?
We just delayed our lives by four years.
Clap for yourselves Nigerians. You played yourself.
Everyone returning to GEJ's policies
Latest is subsidy
Either they were wrong & GEJ was right,or theyre so bad that theyre copying failure
They said Jonathan gave us 10 naira change, oya go and buy fuel for 145 naira now Spot-on bro. |
