This is a lesson to all the women that wont allow men touch/handle/squeeze/suck their mammary glands during courtship or flings.

One fact is that you stand to gain more than the man when he works on your mammary glands with his phalanges. It allows blood flow more through the vessels in your orange, hence cancer will be far way from you

Dont let breast cancer end your life just because of your stinginess

This MrsNwaAmaikpe, is HE really a female?

@ol2012,why greeting me good morning and wishing happy sunday after calling me crass for writing mr Know-All?Actually, u v gone too far cos u don't know where we can meet 2morw.Pls always display good manner in the public. Thanks.

I was hoping you'll be remorseful and caution yourself before posting more comments on this thread after seeing my last post. I have to repeat this "crass ignorance" aptly describe lots of your comments I have read on this thread, and I'm really surprised all you could come up is the above quoted.
You initially accussed me of being Mr know all when indeed you are the one displaying the trait here. I corrected you and instead of cautioning yourself before making further comments, you came up with manner issues again! You need to take time to go through your posts to see how mannerless lots of them portray you.
This is a public forum and not your father's house where nobody is permitted to correct you weather you are right or wrong. I really cannot fathom how you intend to manage people working under you with this very horrible attitude of yours. If your type happen to work under me, you won't last two week before I sack you honestly.
Kindly send me a PM and I'll find time to talk some sense into you without further disturbing others on this thread.
Meanwhile no vex for greeting you good morning and happy sunday in my last post.

Thanks bro, don't mind the mr know all. From all indications, there are factors that should make one consider it as grants and not loans. @ ayus the submission of biz is not d next stage yet.No in-class training yet. Just keep praying that we are selected alongside the 5000. May God see us through.

Oga ENOCHEUNICE
I could not help but shake my head going through a number of your posts on this thread, considering the manner in which you keep displaying your ignorance. I can confirm you lack a basic understanding of the different funding types available to businesses, as your comments clearly shows you take the word "funding" to mean grants. See, business funding could come as either a grant, loan or equity.
Having said that, going by your quoted comment above in which you refer to me as "Mr Know All" . I keep wondering who the Mr know all is between you and me(your guess is as good as mine) I already forsaw what is currently going on, when I posted the comment with the link, where it was clearly stated that that this current youwin connect program's funding model is equity(co investment model) and not grant as you and some other people were already hoping for.
I had earlier posted a comment where I stated the Hon Finance Minister reaffirmed the fact that youwin connect is essentially about capacity building and equity funding under a co investment model. If you were a smart entrepreneur, all you needed to do was to meet an economist to explain co-investment equity funding model to you, instead of displaying your crass ignorance.
Let me also restate as I earlier did that though youwin connect is a rebranded version of youwin, they are two entirely different government initiatives, with completely different objectives. The present government indeed released some funds(grants) to some outstanding youwin beneficiaries, but that does not mean the objectives of youwin connect has been altered. Hopefully when you attend the in class training, things will get clearer to you.
Good morning and happy Sunday(in case you're a christian)

Something is telling me that we won't be given free government money.
If you noticed from the business plan online training, under sources of capital, government grants wasn't mentioned.
I figured govt will stand as guarantor for the successful 5000, then loans will be given to successful applicants with probably 0% interest rate and tenor of say 5 to 10 yrs.

Why some people still think youwinconnect is a grant still baffles me. Something clearly stated on their website to be equity funding. Maybe you should read this part of the website again

https://www.youwinconnect.org.ng/pages/service_series_fund.php

Youwinconnect is not a grant like the former youwin. I hope most people who have chosen to ignore previous pointers to this won't start raining insults on government when they eventually realize this is equity funding perhaps after the masterclass stage.

Is it that they are not giving money but they would train people only? Pls explain the type of equity

They'll provide equity funding after the training. Equity simply refers to your business getting funded while you now have the fund provider becoming a part owner of your business. The good thing about this funding model (co investment) is that you can buy back the share of your business the fund manager takes whenever you decide to repay the fund provided. It's more like an hybrid funding structure that has attributes of both debt and equity.

To clarify your worries.

@Lekubumber you're right in some part about the Grant but wrong in saying 1m minimum & 10m max because amount was not specified.

@ol2012 you're were right in saying that this youwin connect is different from the previous youwin by GEJ but are wrong in saying that there will be no grant!

Once the programme was launched this year and before I create this thread, I personally mailed the secretary to know the pro & con of the programme and I was made to understand that you can get GRANT, LOAN & EQUITY depending on you/or your business need...

Screenshot of the email response below...

Dear Adulphus
I would have ignored this post of yours, but considering the number of applicants who will apply in the hope of getting a grant, I have decided to reply you. I stand by my initial post that you'll only get equity in this current youwin connect as I clearly heard the hon Finance Minister say so in an interview (not that someone told me)

Anyone still in doubt should go to the youwin connect site, navigate to FAQ and check the answer provided to the question in quote

Ok.
The BOI MD has being sacked and i'm quite sure it is related to the YES-P mess. Truth is, BOI is all about propaganda and they hate to see anyone burst their bubbles in the media.

Kindly note that Mr Waheed Olagunju was acting MD when he headed BOI's management team. He only returned to his position as executive director when the current MD - Leke Pitan was appointed as substantive MD. He was not sacked as you erroneously mentioned up there. While some of your points are valid, it'll interest you to know that some YESP applicants have already gotten their businesses funded(quite a few though) I personally know three here in Lagos

They will give grant and also administer monitoring and support...be prepared for d training process ..that call it training but it is actually a screening process....minimum 1m...maximum 10m

Kindly stop misinforming people bro!

Youwinconnect and You win are two completely different schemes. While beneficiaries of you win got grants from the previous administration, successful applicants of youwinconnect will get loans to be structured as equity funding. Government will of course bankroll the trainings (both online and masterclass) but private fund managers will provide the funding for successful applicants with the Federal government standing as guarantor.

I heard the Hon Finance Minister- Adeosun confirm this during an interview she granted few weeks ago

Equity investment means you will sell equity stake in your business to an investor. So you will use the money they pay you to expand and grow the business. The consequence is that the business is not yours 100℅ anymore. Incase of mismanagement, the business can be acquired from you by the investor.

Now this is where Youwin connect are very smart. They are not going to pay you any money. Rather they will link successful beneficiary after the training to private equity investor. Who will evaluate your business and know its worth and viability before investing in it. So its not automatic to applicants. Rather it's favour existing business owner more than start up. Cause they will have records and transactions to back up their business.

Thanks for the explanation brother,
I became scared when their fb handler(s) kept dodging the question when I pushed it to them via their fb page. They kept referring me to the website when infact there is no detailed info about the fund structure on the website.

Meanwhile, were you able to eventually access YESP fund?

Thanks once again for the explanation

I have no problem with equity investment Seriously. But the problem is equity investment is mostly for existing business, not start up. That's why you will notice Youwin connect is unpopular among Nigerian youth unlike Jonathan's Youwin. Jonathan's Youwin give grant to start up. There are many graduates that have business ideas and training but still can not start their business because they have no start up capital. And banks give loans only to existing business and not start up. Which is the mistake the same you win connect is making.

A quick one please bro,

When paying back equity investment, do you pay same amount or with interest?

Thank you

There Is Funding At The End Of The Programme! 2.5billion Project

Of course that was stated by the minister when the initiative was launched. My worry however is that she said then that government would mobilize the fund "annually as equity investment in start-ups and early stage SMEs through qualified fund managers under a co-investment model"
Please note the key word in the quoted - co-investment model. That doesn't sound to me as a grant(I may be wrong though)

Going by the antecedents of this current Federal government, coupled with the fact that there is no concrete info on the website as to the nature of the fund. It is safe not to assume it's going to be a grant.

Perhaps financial analysts and economists in the house can assist educate us on what a co-investment funding model means

Business / Re: Abandoned Loan : Urgent Advice Needed by ol2012: 2:28pm On Jul 07, 2017
Your claim that an insider told you the loan has been written off but you still needed to pay N350,000 is quite confusing. Apparently the bank didn't write off the loan, because if they did, you would have been notified officially(via a written correspondence)

The issue is quite complicated right now, and your best bet will be to get a sound lawyer(preferably a specialist in banking/commercial law) to write the bank on your behalf requesting for a meeting to negotiate a loan restructure. Banks don't write off loans at the instance of customers, hence your attempt to beg them to write off will not yield any fruit.

NOUN MBA is one of the courses in NOUN that currently has NUC full(not interim) accreditation.
I do not really understand what your senior colleague mean by "it's not recognised as such for career advancement and organizations in Nigeria do not reckon with it".

Perhaps he/she meant organizations in other countries reckon more with it than Nigerian organizations.

You need to be mindful of what your POS is used for because you'll be held responsible if a stolen debit card is used on it. Imagine if the card was taking at gun point, that is armed robbery which attracts death penalty!

For businesses with POS it is a good practice to have CCTV installed in their business premises.
Thanks for your advise
But I'm wondering, will I also be "held responsible" if a customer pays me for goods sold/services rendered with stolen cash?
Or how am I supposed to know a debit card is stolen if the cardholder supplies the correct pin when making payment with my POS terminal?
